So where are people getting this idea that Jack and Ashi are going to be a thing? Or that Jack will take her in as a pupil? Seems more likely she'll become a recurring enemy based on the ending of episode 3.

upcoming ep desc

>inb4 that guy sperging around

Because she has that innocence and wonder bits to her character development, and a name.

Also she's an Asian woman.

>Jack will take her in

More like the other way around haha

Because leaked storyboards already confirmed they're going to team up.

The daughters of Aku and the cult of Aku have never actually seen Aku

Aku in a tremendous portrait like that is fuckin' awesome.

This and also the tv guide description for episodes 4 & 6.

It's direct from episode 1

Noice

I think he got B&.
But I have to say, it's getting a bit out of hand with how many SJ threads there are. I'd much rather have a two or three living threads than fifteen page 7 threads that kinda clog up the catalog without having too much going on in them.

Nor has Aku ever seen them.

It's a weird "notice us senpai" cult thing

Leaked Storyboards and descriptions.

Because of see art and episode descriptions.

I miss the red rings around Akus eyes

I just realized we're going to see Ashi call Aku dad, and we're going to see his reaction to some crazy cultist calling him dad.

>Ashi has Character development/a name
>leaked story boards

I'd say its more likely to be a Father/Daughter dynamic. However, the scene with the two Deer can definitely be construed as foreshadowing....

Father/daughter makes the most sense, Jack as a 70 something year old man shacking up with an 18-20 year old seems a bit odd.

He is still biologically 20 years old.

I thought he was 25

...

I really hope it's a father/daughter or Master/student relationship. The whole female assassin/villian falls in love with the hero in spite of years of brainwashing and training to kill them is such a bad cliche imo.

While the user is right about Tara strong voicing Ashi, I doubt the other stuff is true

20 something.

concept art and promotional material not meant to be shown to the public pre-release

God I really hope that doesn't happen.
Over fifty episodes worth of trying to kill Aku and saving his homeland getting shoved aside for a romantic subplot with a shittily voiced literally who would be a horrendous way to end such a good show.

That would actually be the worst thing to ever happen in this show. It would be worse than it never getting renewed. Jack has a purpose. He has dedicated 70 years of his life to honor, to duty, to freeing his people and stopping Aku from ever taking over the world. If he throws that all away and lets Aku reign for the hundreds if not thousands of years before Jack appeared in the future, it would be the ultimate death of his character for me.

that mural is so cool I wish there was a version without Jack and his father

Its a good thing Gendy isn't a fucking stupid fanfiction writer, so that will never happen.

Nah, Aku is the master of all evil with a hundred people at his disposal. I'm not surprised he would have concubines that he would get pregnant and then worship him and the seed he gave them.

He'll probably let her live at the beginning of next episode, and then she'll get her own little independent redemption arc where she explores the world and realizes she's been lied too. Then they'll hook up again and either start fucking or being mentor-mentee

I'm still fuzzy on what ages they're supposed to be, and pretty sure Ashi, and the others sisters were more 14-16 than 18-20.

A love character is one that's meant to die at the end and be avenged. A mentee character is there to carry on the legacy of their mentor when they die.

So Ashi's existence, to me, pretty much guarantees Jack's death.

Except Jack is confirmed to live on and defeat the Guardian so he can travel back in time, so there goes your theory.
Common tropes =/= Law

Wonder if any other of the sisters survived the fall, or who knows maybe they got too rekt to live, she only fell as well as jack, the rest other than the one he tossed way off took some damage.

Any mentor/love plot would ultimately fail because even if one survived, Jack still killed 6 of her sisters.

what are the descriptions?

>Aku will become his father in law
YES

>the foreshadowing of the girls not understanding love
>she's the only one left and falls with him into the pit
Nigga they sent out so many fucking relationship flags.

But thats not what happened. The girls aren't Aku hybrids, they are normal humans, raised under the shadow of Aku's prescience, without ever actually knowing him. Aku doesn't leave his fucking fire room, what makes you think he'd go out of his way to give his presence, let alone his essence, to a bunch of random bitches in some backwater forest.

Jack can't die, he has to return to the past and defeat Aku, Ashi doesn't have the same weight as Jack's character, so killing him off for her would be a huge betrayal of Jack's entire story.

The way the first two were killed seemed kinda rushed to me. I mean, I get that he needed to be sneaky to get a kill or two in, but the promo made it seem like it would've been 6v1 for more than 2 seconds.

You underestimated Jack, he's a one man army who can shred through hordes of robots. He's been training and fighting his entire life, far longer than any of the daughters, and the only opponents the girls have had are their own cult members, where as Jack has fought all manner of enemy. When Jack finally steeled himself for battle and was in prime condition, they had no chance of winning.

There are a few things to consider about the whole Jack vs the daughters of Aku fight. Two of the main reasons they were killed off so fast and maybe even "nerfed" as some people argue is because A. there's only 10 episodes in this season, if it were the usual 25 episode season maybe we would've seen alot more of them and B. villains in samurai jack (aside from aku) don't tend to last more than 1 episode, as bad ass or as likeable as some of them might seem they're always defeated at the end and are never even mentioned in later episode which is a shame because i loved some of the older ones like minions of set and the new guy scaramouch

Because people are desperate and horny

Stick to porn, buckos

Ashi is based off Cassandra Cain, probably the most unique Sup Forums-related character of the last 50 years, Jack is the Batman figure here and will help nurture the curiosity and goodness she has within.

That would legit be the worst possible way to end the series.

This is why I don't like the idea of the show ending with Jack being always accompanied with a new character. Ashi should be a recurring like the Scotsman, not constantly shackled to Jack as his sidekick.

Plus she's a loud mouth and voiced by Tara Strong so nobody wants to hear that.

>the other girls have names

BUT WHO IS WHO

>Not wanting to hear Twilight Sparkle say DIE WORTHLESS SCUM

Someone just post that pic of Ashi in a Kimono and end this thread.

Guys, it's easy

Ashi will live and get mentored by Jack, so she can protect this timeline's innocents when Jack returns to the past

Eat shit and die, Barneylover

Where is your evidence for this? It's left completely ambiguous either way

>t. starfag and the forces of cock in your mouth

You mean Timmy Turner.

I miss the days when Twiggles only occasionally sounded like Timmy and it was cute now she does all the time and it's kinda gross.

Why is she in everything? It's getting real old.

I don't have it saved, but there's this leaked drawing of Jack in a cowboy hat hanging out with Ashi.

Aku's been hiding from Jack for years, and has sent ARMIES after him, do you really think he would entrust his power to a bunch of literal whos in a cave thinking a group of six kids could beat Jack of all people. Just from the way the cultists act it's clear they aren't in any direct connection to Aku, look at episode one, the robot assassin, Aku's supposed favorite assassin, has a direct line to him, so do you think a cult, thats supposedly, a bunch of concubines that Aku knocked up, as you believe, wouldn't have a direct line to Aku, instead of just some rock statue of him? Or that they wouldn't be IN Aku's lair, instead of some literal nowhere forest? If they were actually Aku's daughters, they would be equipped with the most dangerous weapons available, given directly by Aku, and would have super powers, being Aku hybrids, instead they were just regular humans in jumpsuit with masks wielding normal weapons who got murders easily by Jack using regular weapons, I mean fuck, he killed two of them with rocks spears, doesn't say much for Aku's offspring if they can get murdered so simply by a sharp rock on a stick.

>It's getting real old.

So is Tara, so they are milking her dry while she lasts.

Scrap the Daughters being Jack's but working with that angle still. I would like to think the Daughters of Aku is actually the surviving sect of Jack's own people. Like on the day Jack got sucked in the time portal Aku did a final purge on them except those who will unquestionably devote their lives to him. Among them an ancestor to Ashi.

Over the years as Aku spread out across the Earth and galaxy he'd neglects those first people there who form a cult to try about everything to regain the attention of the monster that allowed them to live in the 'beauty of the world' because he spared them.

And when Jack emerged again in the future, they see this as the ultimate opportunity not only to win Aku's favor again but get vengeance on the very person that has failed them originally. (Even more people Jack has forsaken)

By the end Ashi is reformed and bonds with Jack but he can't take her back to the past. But still aiming to fix everything he gets back defeats Aku and upon returning to his people like it was only day of(but it's not) among them he will find Ashi's ancestor who had doubted him originally.

>She becomes lovers with Jack
>Gendy showed concept art of her wearing his kimono and a more elegant hairdo

It's over.

The Nat Geo scene here was a subtle hint about the nature of Jack and Ashi's future relationship

I think it'd be interesting to see, a more Genndy-type romance than what we've gotten in Hotel Transylvania, but based on the episode descriptions, I don't believe it'll happen because there isn't enough time:

Episode 4-Jack and Ashi escape a giant monster gut
Episode 5-Jack manages to lose her and goes on a solo adventure where he gets to be a hero again by saving a bunch of people from becoming Matrix batteries
Episode 6-Ashi searches for Jack and meets some of the people he's helped
Episode 10-Final Battle

So that only leaves you with 7,8, and 9 for them to reunite, bond, get a buddy cop thing going, and then maybe hook up.

>calls Aku a wizard
>describes Odin, Horus, and Vishnu as monks

Why did the Emperor lie to Jack?

RIP every girl but Ashi.

She's desperate for work (for some reason) and wants to keep being "relevant". Also, higher-ups think she's a name that sells.

With those jugs, that's gonna be a bit of milking.

>Episode 6-Ashi searches for Jack and meets some of the people he's helped

Ashi confirmed for meeting the Scotsman

She wasn't able to kill him when she had 6 other sisters with her in the perfect ambush, and she's too naive to get help from outsiders. How exactly is she going to be a recurring villain if she isn't a threat? Also the foreshadowing points to an obvious "turn good" plot.

there are leaked images of her on the storyboard with her own robe (akin to the the one jack originally wore)

Why don't they just go to his lair? It's not like it's hard to find: those pathetic gangsters in the original and literal piles of shit in this one have come knocking on Aku's door.

The deer foretold it, it is written.

Autisits that can't comprehend platonic relationships among men and women. They probably ship Maya/Phoenix and Judy/Nick too

>eats a bit of Haggis
>fucking loves it

I'm honestly really disliking the daughters, the episodes have been good but I don't give a shit about anything other than Jack, it's his story

>So where are people getting this idea that Jack and Ashi are going to be a thing?
I have no idea

>Or that Jack will take her in as a pupil?
Geralt and Ciri.

Jack is probably mid to late 20's

Ashi can't be Older then 20

Autists that can't comprehend heterosexual relationships amond men and women. They probably ship Zelda/Link and Steven/Connie.

Reminder Scaramooch has Aku on speed dial.
That "presence" he once graced them with could be an entirely different thing all together.

daughters dressing in daddys clothes after getting a good dicking from them?

>platonic

nope

>Aku doesn't leave his fucking fire room
Except all the times he did to fight Jack?

>>putting coffee on your drawings
>>using a mac
>>eating junk

are all animators retarded

I thought it was implied he's become a recluse since destroying the portals. Only entertaining grovelers.

>That "presence" he once graced them with could be an entirely different thing all together.
>daughters dressing in daddys clothes after getting a good dicking from them?

Was it rape?

>Going after young, underage naive jailbait
Jack is a true Japanese, he makes his ancestors proud.

After all the grimdark new shit I've seen I legit thought the deer are going to start fucking.

Could just be Jack giving Ashii an extra gi in prep for their training sessions, we still don't know.

It's going to be weird watching Jack fuck a girl who barely knows how to function outside of murder especially when he's 70+ years old.

Actually the monks were real, the gods just spoke through them

The sweating man reaction image could never use more Jack edits than now

Yeah but his body is still in its mid 20s so its fine. Also theres something adorable about a killing machine who doesnt understand how the world works. Christ they didnt even know what a deer was

If it was any other Adult Swim cartoon and optionally had a focus on comedy, they actually would.

>Also theres something adorable about a killing machine who doesnt understand how the world works.
Yeah but those are for hugs, not fugs.

No, it's actually a subtle hint, that another antler wearing nigg may not be as evil as we initially thought.

It's Da SAM-MOO-RHAI, fool

Where does Jack get his Kimonos? Does he just sew his own?

Remember the shoes episode?

So the shadowy figure is going to rub noses with Ashi?

Its kind of poetic if you think about it, shes basically Jack after arriving into the future. They were both thrown into a world they couldnt possibly understand, taught only to fight/survive, only this time Ashi has a teacher when Jack didnt

No.

Training for what exactly?
I think she has these for a life time now.

But on the other hand, if the parallel universe theory is true, Jack needs someone in his place to stay behind and get things in line once he defeated current Aku and went back to the past to defeat the Aku of the past.

No, he's going to rub noses (and something else) with her mum

Meditation? She seems restless, perhaps Jack can give her peace
