I know I'm in a tremendous minority but this is my favorite Disney song even though I don't even like the movie itself that much.

Disney was still using oil paints and glass slides at this point. Anything pre-wwii is going to be high quality (relatively speaking)
The cuts for Dumbo came in the form of a simple plot, non-elaborate backgrounds and shorter runtime (barely an hour).
