I used to watch it as a kid, but apparently I torrented the whole show at some point and only just found it on my hard drive. Watched a few episodes, and I have to say it's pretty hilarious. A show like this would never happen nowadays, the weebs would have a fit, plus there's no incentive given the fact that there's plenty of market for straight, no-effort dubs.
I really need to watch the whole series, I think. I feel like there are probably some amazing jokes the writers sailed right past the censors. I think my favorite but of trivia is the fact that the guy who sang the English theme song apparently got drunk before doing so, and did the whole thing while impersonating Paul Lynde, and laughing uncontrollably. The fact that all of this laughing is played during the intro, transformation sequences and end credits is fucking beautiful.
