Great in everything.
Sad that Dollhouse did not survive.

Who

...

You and me both. I don't care what anybody says, Dollhouse was kino.

An actress user. Whos been in a lot of great genre shows over the years.

Liar, she looks not a day older than 29.

Ahh yes. My kind of thread

I doubt she even knows Sup Forums exists but still, Happy Birthday Amy

>say something nice
Not only cutest person on earth, but also genuinely talented.

Forever my Rootfu

Only because she may very well be immortal user. She's the best looking 41 year old in the industry.

>Not only cutest person on earth, but also genuinely talented.
She is sadly underrated. She's the best actor in almost everything she's ever been in

But she is...

Post lewd pictures and webms of her

No, user! No! Not today!

cute

And that was implied as well... she doesn't get nearly enough credit.
I'm actually proud of having a waifu that is both beautiful but also can act, and made some of the best kino things i've ever seen

How does she do it?

Amy is not for lewd!
safe on rare occasions.. but her B-day is for cute and comfy!
Amy is for cuddles

I turned 41 today too, WHERE'S MY NICETIES?

So what if I'm a forever alone never kissed neck beard virgin who still lives in my mom's basement, in fact it's not a basement, it's the room I grew up in, so there.

You're tellin me

Same, she's a top tier waifu not just because she's so cute, but because she's been in some of my favorite shows, Angel and Person of Interest specifically, and done a fantastic job in all of them.

especially PoI. Root was too good for this world

Happy birthday user. Don't worry, there's still time for you.

You're gonna make it

Yeah. Happy Birthday, user. The only pain that has no solution is the pain of never marrying Amy, for all else, it's a big world full of possibilities, you'll catch them and you'll be in a better place.

Any woman would do, I'm so lonely but I'm deathly afraid of rejection so I don't ask anyone or say anything. Girl rejected me some years ago and her and her friends called me a fat nasty looking ogre, who smells funny. I was wearing Cologne and I spent all the money I had on new clothes. But those words were like bullets. Getting shot would not have lingered up to our selfsame day like her words and their jeering has.

I used to think maybe she drinks blood...
I would totally offer her my neck though
But she's too sweet to ve a vampire
or is she¡

But no. It's just a healthy lifestyle, a comfy family and a lot of love

Fred, Root, Mr Reese, The Machine (twice)
It hurts every time, lads
Every time.
If that's not good acting, I don't know what is.

The Machine was best girl though... she just happens to be the same Amy

>The only pain that has no solution is the pain of never marrying Amy
I cant even let that bother me today. Today is a happy day, because it's Amy day.

Jesus lad, I'm sorry this happened to you. I don't know what to offer you to make you feel better, but when I'm feeling down what usually brightens my day is Amy's smile

So here, I hope this makes you feel better user.

The last season of dollhouse was way too rushed - it's like half the script was chucked out and they just skipped to the end.

Amy excels in sad scenarios, because there is nothing more heartbreaking that seeing Amy sad and/or dying. The last episode of the Gifted was a good example of that, the ending when she was breaking down because her kids got captured was way too sad for me.

Testament to her acting talent I guess, she always sells it really well.

Yeah don't get me wrong the show was flawed as fuck, especially the last half of season 2, but I always felt like there was a really great show hiding under the surface, and sometimes you got glimpses of it. Makes me think that if Dollhouse had gotten another season it might have found its footing and become a really great show.

Have you tried getting /fit/?
Appearance is not everything, but before you try to get someone else to love you, you must love yourself. If you care for the opinion of someone who humiliates you like that, you're not loving yourself.

Build yourself an image you can love about you, not a false image based on ego, a true one that you feel comfortable with.

And seize the time to look at Amy smile... the cute thing can probably cure cancer if given a change. I can't stop grinning like an idiot when looking at it.

Wife material. She's pure.

Thanks for her smile at least. And what a smile it is.

It'd take years to lose this weight. I can force myself to walk for at least an hour a day, I did that before, but it'd take at least a year to lose 60 pounds. But what else am I going to do with my life.

you don't look that bad for your age

>She's pure.

>what is acting

The purest

She's an actress, user, actors gonna act the parts that are given to them, there's this thing, called "a script"

>happily married to chad
>for 15 years
>2 beautiful children
Absolutely wife material. That shit doesn't happen too often in Hollywood.

Find a site where you can do a fitness log, post to it, and let others on that site encourage you. It's your life, your life matters and YOU matter, so do NOT give up.

It's the least I can do, user.

...

One day at a time is the way, but I'm telling ya. Love yourself first. I love you user. You're worth saving
The Machine taught me that everyone matters

...

...

Wait... wrong pic

...

...

Try and make it through this interview without smiling.

l-lewd...

How does she still manage to be so adorable even when dressed up in a slutty outfit? What kind of sorcery is this?

She looks exactly like my high school crush, 37.

It's because she's just absolute perfection

That's just Amy's power. Adorableness taken to the extreme, plus the ability to also play sexy and making you go hhhhnnngggg in levels you didn't even know existed

WTF is happening to my face?! why can't I control these spasms!?

Couldn't get past the part she started talking

She even manages to look adorable when she's being tortured, how is such a thing possible?!

The first time she breaks and laughs was it for me. Puts a smile on my face every time

Ayylmaos eventually got her though

Did they? Or did she get the Ayylmaos?

I can't see any Amy torture scene without getting all REEEEEEEEE RELEASE AMY NAAOOO!
Don't care if she's one of the bad guys. I'd watch the world burn for just one more second of her smile. Example: Alias

It is likely Amy turns things around on pure sheer cuteness... Ayys don't stand a chance

Well, let's see. I suppose she could've said, "Joss, there's no way I'm kissing that nigger," and then she could stand there as everybody around stood aghast while her career crumbled around her. She could please some anonymous stranger on the internet 15 years later.

Or she could do her job and act.

Alias was terrible, but the last season was watchable just for her character. She was so evil but so cute too.

Plus it was a good thing in the end, because Illyria and then that role back to back led to her getting typecast in villainous roles for awhile, which probably played a part in her ending up as Root. And the character of Root was a gift from god.

Did you notice her blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameo as a stewardess candidate in Catch Me If You Can?

Also
>that filename
There has never been a truer filename

>tfw she and Alexis thought their characters would end up together.
>Whedon pulls the Gunn crap out of his ass showing early signs of being a hack and sabotaging his own work
I hated the Gunn part, and I'm not even Sup Forums As proof, i offer my hate for Cordelia/Connor pairing too. Some shit is just wrong. But I blame Whedon for that.
Then again, he was responsible for Illyria so... mixed feelings

Yes, and I also notice how she disappears in the very next scene. Fucking scheduling conflicts!

I... Didn't... (shame one me)
But years later I learned it existed. Not much of this Amy in it though. The other Amy appears more in that movie.

>she and Alexis thought their characters would end up together.
Well they did.
...Eventually.

And I was fine with the Gunn/Fred shit for a little while. because smitten happy fred was cute But the love triangle eventually got really annoying. I don't hate that it happened, because I guess it made it even more better when she finally ended up with Wes like she always should have. for one episode ;_;

Should I watch the final season of Alias just for her?
I already told you I don't care if she's a villain... I will always take Amy's side... which will probably suck once the "good guys" defeat her eventually.

The shortness of it only made it more painful
To see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Understanding an outcast's love for Fred was more pure than anything in the show. The moment Wesley kills his robot dad for her. I could simply relate to loving Amy like that. Gunn was just "hey yo look at dat sexy momma" then "i dont understand shit you do or feel cause i'm just the muscle"
For one second after all that shit, everything was in it's rightful place again.

>Should I watch the final season of Alias just for her?
The answer to that question is always going to be "yes". Amy is Amy, no matter how bad the show she's in is, it's still worth it for her.

But it's also some of the most mind numbingly stupid and bad tv I've ever seen, and I've seen a lot of stupid and bad tv. Not even she can save it, despite how hard she tried. You've been warned.

>you can waifu any girl in the world
>still end up liking a whore

It's all fantasy, user. You should aim higher than a Whedon cocksleeve.

>Fred: He was threatening one of your friends-
>Wes: He was threatening you.
>*cue moment of realization for Fred*
fugg, that scene still gets me

I was almost wondering when would the autistic assmad buffyfag make his entrance
He wasn't invited to the party though.

>trying to shit up a thread celebrating somebodies birthday
That's just low.

It's the little scenes like that that make that last season kino. You know for certain a show its good when something gets you. And few things have hit me as hard as some of the scenes on Angel and Person of Interest

So...
13 years have passed, Wes is gone...
What do you make of Angel/Fredllyria thing going on now?

Also what's Amy's best role?
The Machine=Illyria>Fred>Root
tough choice as they're all Amy and they're all perfect

Yeah, Angel and PoI are my go-to shows when I want to feel. There's the big sad character deaths of course, but there's so many smaller but still heartbreaking moments that just needle at your heart, like pic related.

SIERRA.
TANGO.
OSCAR.
PAPA.
;_;

>Also what's Amy's best role?
Thats too hard, I don't know how to rank them, but I'd probably rank Root the highest, because root a cute
And I have a hard time considering the Machine an Amy character exactly, because she was her own character that Amy just played for a brief period of time. Of course she played her very well, but The Machine was still her own thing.

Also, the less said about Angel/Illyria, the better.

>Less said
But it is what I thought was gonna happen from the start... It was so fairy-taleish... only Angel wasn't the Chad he was supposed to be and was a blind idiot instead, and then... Ok... I'll shut up...

I also consider the Machine more Amy than anything else because I watched the show alrady spoild on what was about to happen, and according to creators, it was always meant to happen, making that final event the literal reason why Amy was hired to be the Analog Interface in the first place

No! She belongs with Wes and only Wes! REEEEEEE!

>making that final event the literal reason why Amy was hired to be the Analog Interface in the first place
I don't think it was planned until after she became a more prominent character. When she was first cast they just needed somebody to play a good villain, and Nolans wife was a huge fan of Amys so she pestered him to hire her.

Either way at the end of the day the Machine was still her own unique character before Amy played her, so I have a hard time ranking her among Amy's main roles because in addition to all that, it was still incredibly brief.

Don't get me wrong though, Amy Acker playing Harold's hallucination of the Machine was fucking top tier writing, and Amy played it perfectly.

Nolan's wife has god tier taste

Before I finally shut up about Angel
>tfw ywn save a potato sack dressed cave Amy from the monsters

I dunno... I was just sold into the idea of Amy being the Machine. First she chooses an avatar, but the avatar needed some tweaking before being functional. The idea was Amy was to become the permanent interface to interact with the Machine, like the Samaritan kid, for all intended effects, he was Samaritan in human flesh. It's also a perfect analogy. Root was a murderous super hacker out of control who became an actual caring human being, Samaritan was a kid, younger than her but also more desensitized, plotting and ambitious.

she have a hairy pusy?

Besides she imagines herself being Root when she flashbacks to all the deaths she saw and the people she couldn't save, like Harold didn't teach her how to grief

underrated

3things
>1 Only the Chaddest and luckiest man on Earth knows
>2 Get your filthy mind outta here, Amy is Not. For. Lewd.
>3 U fucking fraud

You're making the Machine sound kind of bad there. She didn't choose Root to eventually take her over and use her as an avatar, Root was much more to her than that. She chose her so she could save her from herself, because she believed people were worth saving. She loved Root.

She didn't choose Root's voice because she had been grooming Root all along to serve just that purpose, she did it because it was her way of honoring somebody she cared about, in her own words, speaking with Roots voice brought her comfort, because she missed her too.

That's the beauty of it, Root wasn't just an avatar to be used and discarded like the kid was for Samaritan. Root was her friend.

That was mostly for the audiences benefit, the whole point of having Finch seeing her as Root in the first place was to drive home the fact that The Machine was a person. All of those scenes wouldn't have the same effect if it was just The Machine's voiceover. It was to give her a physical presence, to make it obvious that in her own way, she was there, with everybody. We weren't seeing the Machine's imaginings of herself with those flashbacks.

Yes, shaved is for shit tier porn actresses and porn sluts wannabes.

You will never ever know.

I was overcome with an odd sense of rage when I realized she wasn't married to Alexis denisof, many years ago

>posting lewds on Amy's birthday
USE THE MOTHERFUCKING SPOILERS REEEEEE

>Sound bad
Not really the intent. On the contrary, I think the Machine chose Root because on some level she identified with her and Root did so as well, it was perfect symbiosis. Root spoke of "transcending this plane" before
Both had in common "being on the path of redemption" as we remember previous machine versions all tried to escape/murder Harold
Of course she cared too though. Deeply, because that's our digital gal.

the less said about the comic continuations the better for angel and buffy tbqh mi famiglia

>tfw I'm the only one who's kinda glad to see Illyria having a worthy husbando, making him happy in the name of all of us real folk who will never live in a fictional universe where you can get an Illyria gf

She's not jewish.

I reckon we've been over this before and I dont think we're ever gonna see eye to eye completely. To me, Root did not merge with the Machine or transcend in any metaphysical sense, the show was far too grounded for that. It's what she wanted to happen, maybe even for a time believed would happen, especially when she was crazier. But at the end of the day the only way Root actually lives on is in the memories of the people she meant something to, including the Machine. That was kind of the point of that speech at the end. If you mean something to someone, if you help someone, or love someone, if even a single person remembers you, then maybe you never really die at all.

It's just slightly more literal when it comes to the Machine's memories.

Well at least he got Willow

Harsh but true

Willow, as cute as she was (still?)... is no Amy though But they're good friends I think.
I once heard Amy talk on an interview about an ex bf who became a writer
>Ex bf
>Ex
How are you Amy's ex and not kill yourself because of what you lost? How do you live with that? Poor sod must have it worse than any of us.

>somebody had amy but let her get away
does not compute

I assume his writing is just depressing suicidal poetry about how life is no longer worth living

Well, the important part is she lives on. We remember her too.
Other than that, I was just saying why I consider the Machine an Amy character. Because that's her trope. becoming a goddess in the end.
Oh god... they're gonna do this to us again in The Gifted aren't they?

>Oh god... they're gonna do this to us again in The Gifted aren't they?
I almost kind of hope they do, because it'd just be funny if it happens again. Weirdest typecasting in history.

Or maybe they just recognize that Amy is a goddess so naturally playing the part of one comes easily to her.
