I too am a blackjack man, my friend.

No flush chance, not that it matters because the boat beats that and a straight anyway. Making a bigger full house from two Ks is the only chance.

The aces are 0% either because the camera saw that somebody folded one or if two aces came they would split the pot

He played this so badly.

>No flush chance
youre right, my mistake

The two ace hands can't win because running aces just means they'll split, they have zero equity.

>flush and inside straight chance
>Damon has flopped 10s full
>Kh9s having flush outs against the absolute nuts when there is only one heart on the board and someone else has the backdoor nut-flash draw

I hope I see you at the table some day after you turn 21 in 5-6 years user.

Hellmuth is such a piece of shit lol

No, they have 0% because the best they can do is chop. K9 can get running kings and win outright.

Thoughts on the current poker champion?

Who are you quoting, autist?

Who was in the wrong here?

how to learn poker?

because they play a large volume of games with a +EV strategy and eventually they get luckier than others

if you want to see the biggest donk fish watch jcarver

every single video of him winning a tournament is him sucking out at least 10 times, but he plays so many tournaments that he gets lucky in those tournaments enough to make it pay off

Anyone who says poker is not a game of skill is mental and this is from someone who is not very good at it and has no real interest in playing.
I was in Vegas and had a go, nothing major but was at a table with a professional.
The guy could guess my hand based on the way I played, could largely guess the value, could sometimes even predict the suits.
It was like a magic trick and I really respected the talent, was a good guy too but I cannot remember his name.

Jennifer Titty. She gave Tony the idea.

Tony

learn stats and play a bunch

thank you Damien

are you part pacific islander? also living near casinos helps or makes it even worse I suppose

I originally thought Phil but pro poker is generally accepted to not be a hustle and you're expected to not lie about petty stuff like that.

Phil. He's smarter than that. He fell for the Strayan shitposter when he should have known that he was trying to put Phil on tilt.

And what happens when he knows what you have and he's ahead of you or close to equal and you still beat him when all in?

Nothing

Being good doesn't magic away variance. Phil Ivey and Durrr can't stop you from beating them in a coin flip.

The "idea" of poker is that you play at a low enough level that you're only risking a small % of your entire poker bankroll, so that the swings ('variance') don't cause you to lose all your money.

However, this means you're playing far below a level that has any pragmatic value to you. The utility of making $20 a night is very low. People go into poker to make lots of easy money.

They move up the levels, playing more expensive games, where the variance actually causes them to lose all or most of their money.

This is the average experience of a poker player.

The players who made a lot of money were people who got lucky in tournaments, they invested relatively little, and came out with 100x their investment or more. Sunday Millions, a few hundred people paid $200 and came out with $200,000 - $2,000,000. More than being skillful and making a living, they were lucky in the right time.

>anti poker cuck redditspaces
color me shocked

>They move up the levels, playing more expensive games, where the variance actually causes them to lose all or most of their money.

this is shit reasoning when amateur poker players are told repeatedly by every educational poker source that they should only play at higher levels when they can afford to bankroll themselves in the same way they could at lower levels

i.e 200x buy-in

>reddit spacing

> People go into poker to make lots of easy money.

If the average person wanted to sit down and play for hours to make $5 and add that to their bankroll they would, they don't. They want to make $200,000.

Why isn't some worldbeater with the highest ROI at NL25 railbirded? Because nobody gives a shit about low amounts of money.

I had trips.

the average person loses money on poker, but this isn't really supporting your point. luck plays a role, but if it was the sole determinant then the average person would win more money than they do. you have to practice with lower stakes, no shit?

how did you and 3 responses get this wrong?

2 aces in the deck.
3 kings in the deck.

Which has a higher chance of happening?

When I lost my job I did this kinda thing for 2 years. Grinding out the cheap seats sucks. First thing is that you HAVE to work the weekends at night to roll the big suckers and hope to get lucky OR put in more than a 40 hour week. I'm honestly happy to have a real job again now that I can play on the weekend every other month and usually win a little most times.

I saw this live. It was incredibly invigorating to see that piece of shit get BTFO. Everyone cheered.

Rounders is a great flick tho

>loses
>w-wow u are so stupid!

like every other thread here? yeah i wish i could leave

iktfb. They don't sell that idea though. It's just go on a run and become a millionaire.

The reality is you sit at your computer multitabling for hours and hope you make a profit and then you do it again the next day, and the next.

Make friends with other autists who are doing the same. Occasionally watching luckboxes go deep in tournaments for 5 figure paydays.

I never did it online. I have one of my states better poker rooms 20 minutes away. The problem lies with playing the same guys everyday and learning their tells. Eventually they get pissed off because they know that you can read them and get pissy because you are taking their rent. The house doesn't give a fuck though and honestly the afternoon old man 7 card stud games were more enjoyable despite being lower money making time.

At least you tried. Didn't acquire enough skill to play with the big boys, champ? At least there's slot machines.

recommend some poker kino

High Stakes Poker is the true poker kino

Just some bants and some poker

Dude looks like a living fucking goblin. Where are his teeth? Does he shower at all?

Tony, not because he lied but because he wasn't aware enough to realize Phil's whole outburst was Phil lying once Phil realized Tony had lied. Phil's smart enough to know that Tony's right, poker is about lies, and if you can't beat em, join em.

Wrong

At the high levels integrity matters, you'll go bust and need someone to loan you 50k+. Or you'll have to trust Tony to pay you back 50k+.

Do you want to get a reputation for someone who can't be trusted among people you are with all the time for big amounts of money?

Check these.

If i remeber correctly he did : Check-Check-Bet right?

If that so then he played very standard. Not much value from this to get anyway. He removes a lot of card that can hit the flop so he betting has a lot of fold equity specially in a multyway pot.
Best line is CCB hoping to get paid on the river or to trigger a bluff.
