Recommend me some top tier TV shows or mini series. I feel like I've exhausted the best there is but I must be missing a few things.

List of things I've seen that I'd consider top tier-
Deadwood
Carnivale
Sopranos
The Wire
Rome
True Detective
Breaking Bad
Twin Peaks
Better Call Saul
Band of Brothers
Generation Kill
Arrested Development
Eastbound & Down

Nice Reddit list.

>Mindhunter
>Narcos
>Mr Robot
>Rick and morty
>treme
>The night of
>Iron fist
>Veep
>I Claudius

Taboo
Banshee
Justified
Vice Principals
Peaky Blinders

>no Mad Men

>Eastbound & Down

Confirmed patrician

It's always sunny in Philadelphia

Into the West. A Spielberg produced miniseries about the conquest of the west from the perspective of both the settlers and the native americans. It's only 6 episodes, and you can find the whole thing on YouTube.

Banshee
The Americans

>mentions reddit to make people mad
>makes me mad

FUCK OFFFFFF AAAAAAA

Can't recommend vice principles to the OP enough if he liked eastbound and down

...

>>Iron fist
kek

>I feel like I've exhausted the best there is
>The X Files isn't the first thing that comes to mind
The absolute state of this board.

>patrician
so that's the new word for retard fucks now??

Take a look in Westworld and Mr Robot, pretty good shows, also Rick & Morty is Top Tier, fucking hilarious shit.

To be fair he asked for Kino. Not boring shit.

Never been to Reddit in my life you little faggot
Seen Mindhunter & The Night of, enjoyed both especially the former. I'll add I Claudias & Treme to the list. Iron Fist, Mr Robot & Veep though? Seriously? lol
Banshee was alright and I loved Vice Principals. I'll check out the others on your list although I've been hesitant to start either Taboo or Peaky Blinders for some reason
Too many fucking seasons
Added to the list, thanks.
The Americans looks interesting. Added
Already seen it my man

Unironically this, OP you should end yourself if X Files is not on your list

>the first tv series to do an episode with "no cuts"
>not kino
Oh dear...

Seen Westworld & the first season of Mr Robot. Nothing special about them desu
Yeah I've seen most of the stuff posted in here already I just wouldn't include it in top tier. I only want suggestions that are up there with the best
I didn't grow up watching it so I feel like some of the charm will be lost on me. Does it really stand the test of time?

>hesitant to start either Taboo or Peaky Blinders for some reason
Peaky Blinder is basically English Boardwalk Empire. Boardwalk Empire is another good one if you haven't seen it.

Good shout, had forgotten about Boardwalk Empire

>although I've been hesitant to start either Taboo or Peaky Blinders for some reason
Haven't seen Taboo yet but at least the first season of Peaky Blinders is what I expected from Boardwalk Empire after the first episode but never got. It's pretty fun and very well shot, I'd definitely recommend it if you like gangster/mafia stuff

Mad Men is 92 episodes of greatness.

>Seen Westworld & the first season of Mr Robot. Nothing special about them desu
I like the christian slater and anthony hopkins's characters, excelent performance.

too much hype, only fancy shit, has it's moments, but is not that good

You're a dumb idiot.

I’ve watched all those shows OP and The Knick bests them all. You can thank me later

It's Sex and the City for dudes.

It died too soon.

No, that's Entourage. Mad Men is nothing like Entourage.

>Mr Robot & Veep though? Seriously? lol
>Too many fucking seasons
>the first season of Mr Robot. Nothing special

wolf hall
john adams
tinker tailor solider spy (bbc)
the thick of it

I've never seen Entourage. But Mad Men is fancy clothes, fancy drink, fancy job, fancy sex, fancy life-power fantasy, for dudes.

The Knick was pretty good, could have been so much better if it didn't fall into the pitfall of making 90% of the show about racism though.
I know it belongs in the setting, but with how much focus they put on it it ended up feeling super forced rather than just a natural part of the world in that day and age.

why, because I know the only thing in mad men is this bimbo?? she's smooking, and so are many chicks in that program, but I guess that if I want to watch sex content, I can go directly to xvideos and skip this attention whore stories. This show is fucking pointless after S2.

Sounds great to be there living it up. Sounds like boring trash to watch. It's like watching porn for the stories.

Boardwalk empire
Justified
While comedy is highly subjective I like Letterkenny

not watching mad men when on a quest for 'good tv' is inexcusable

Sharpe

The only one you need to watch

Peaky Blinders

Yeah that was on my radar for a while but never got round to watching it. Will check it out, cheers
Not sure what you're getting at here desu
Great recommendations, thanks
The amount of seasons is off putting though. I'll watch it eventually

>Not sure what you're getting at here desu
Hint: It's not positive

the pacific
brideshead revisited (old one, jeremy irons)
party down
young pope
wolf hall
narcos
brotherhood

>new

Don't even bother trying to convince me that Mr Robot & Veep are top tier. Also too many seasons is a valid complaint, I ain't got time to invest that many hours in one show that I'm only vaguely interested in. The X files question was serious cause like I said I didn't grow up watching it and looking at it now it seems kinda shlocky. I'd be happy to find out I'm mistaken though.

watching justified mostly for goggins and it's pretty good. wasn't looking forwards toward olyphant taking majority of screentime after deadwood but he's entertaining enough. there's several actors from deadwood that make appearances too, sadly just for an episode usually.

Show Me a Hero is great

boardwalk empire's alright so far. i'm on the last season. pretty much plays out like a prohibition sopranos.
