Since things are back to normal, I figured I'd give this a proper go. I know the ten day countdown leading up to three episodes was disappointing. They really dropped the ball there. The fact that the episodes aren't even in HD is even more disappointing, but their stated reasoning for that is that they need to keep some stuff exclusive for potential buyers. I'm not convinced that those buyers will ever come, but I can't fault them for hoping.
I just really like this show. Despite its imperfect animation and off-kilter voice-acting, it had a lot of charm and the story gets really good around eight episodes into it. The people who make it genuinely love it. They're trying to reply to every single person who leaves a comment on YouTube. How many animation studios actually reply to comments about how much porn the show is getting?
If this thread dies a quick death, so be it. But I'm glad they're finally doing something, even if it wasn't as much as I hoped.

Most people come to Sup Forums because they don't like other places. I suppose reddit and tumblr are the obvious choices, but my reach doesn't extend there. I don't even think the animation sub-reddit is very popular.

It doesn't seem like season two will be ready until the fall, but I would expect delays to push it into 2018. This show seems to have a lot of delays.

these kids put some effort into this show, tiger's stripes remind lightning, Rabbit's face fur pattern look like hair bangs, the lounge is full of life: in ep 3 you can see the Lizard running around drinking power drink, Ape arguing with the waiter, etc.

They managed to ensure that when (if) the crowdfund launches, most people will ignore any countdowns or hype attempts thinking they're aiming for another couple of episodes on youtube

The only reason to be excited for episodes on youtube was their being a higher quality than the back-alley rip people saw.
It's like they're sabotating their own attempts, but I'm getting the feeling it's less incompetency and more just not caring about getting international viewers. Or maybe they're just old people, still clinging to the notion that if you're going to market a product, you need to do it the old fashioned way with a company buying the transmission rights for TV airings.
