Question shouldn't be on a team

>Dick - the heart of the team who brings access to Batfamily assets, along with his own skills that don't come with the cost of a no fun allowed personality.
Superman - He's Superman. He also brings public trust of the team.
Barda - brings the New Gods perspective as well as team tactician learned from her time as leader of the Furies.
Ollie - Tries to keep the team honest and reminds it not to forget about the little guy.
Dinah - Does the same to Ollie. She also brings her combat prowess.
Wally - Team Speedster, friend of Dick
Midnighter - Combat master, who brings team transportation via his doors, as well as never ending double entendre typically thrown in Dick's direction.
Mera - Represents Atlantean interests as well as the 3/4 of the planet it lays claim to. Brings her capacity to water bend, as well as Atlantean tech, and her own combat prowess. Likes to talk with Ollie about environmental preservation.
J'onn - Team Undercover asset, and backup powerhouse when needed.

>Question
>guest
not a real member, but a guest character

>Dinah - Does the same to Ollie, keeping Ollie in check

Now this is an alternate League I can get behind. I think Superman's presence is what brings credibility to this team.

Pretty much what I meant, but okay.

Vixen
Etrigan
Mera
Red Tornado
Terra
Poison Ivy
Black Lightning
Ray
Obsidian

> Young Jusitce
Dropped Cain, Starfire & added Fairchild, Judomaster, Aquagirl & the cute Canadian bitch.

Eh Grace Choi & Fairchild together are kinda redundant.

With a decent writer I'd read this team.

>Dinah
>Ollie
>Katar
>Shayera
>Ray Palmer
>Hal
>Barry
>J'onn
>Ronnie/Jason swapping who's in the drivers' seat as needed

I would focus on the family aspect of the League, which is why i tried to bring in characters with very strong ties to eachother. Barry and Hal are BFFs, Hal and Ollie are BFFs, Ollie and Katar butt heads, Katar and Ray are BFFs, Dinah and Ollie (duh) as well as Katar and Shayera (also duh) provide romance and character beats designed around that type of relationship. No NTR ever.

J'onn is the papa bear to this crew who keeps everyone linked through telepathy, and coordinates the whole organization. Dinah would probably be field leader.

Jason and Ronnie would be my main focal point, the viewpoint from which the reader follows this League as Firestorm enters in, relative newbie compared to these veterans. As the biggest cannon on the team, i'd have them be taken under J'onn's wing, with Ray playing a role in that tutoring as well on the science side of things.

The main thing i'd be working to develop is the idea of multi-faceted characters. As Ronnie and Jason get to know the other League members they see that they aren't gods or figureheads, but flawed humans. Humans with rivalries and loves and friendships who can come together to do what's right and fight the good fight.

At the heart of it would be J'onn teaching Jason and Ronnie that being near unto gods doesn't need to dehumanize them, pointing to the rest of the league as evidence that since mere men can stand amongst them as equals, really what is important is that effort to strive for goodness and justice, ability notwithstanding.

My Justice Incarnate lineup...

Dick
Wally
Aqualad
Donna
Roy
Starfire
Cyborg
Kyle
Babs

Boring but good.

Mister Miracle is the escapist
Big Barda is a powerhouse
Blue Beetle
and
Booster Gold as comic relief
White Wally West as the speedster
Zatanna as a magic resource
Animal Man for the beasts
Sgt. Rock is a time displaced strategist

And it's taking too long to think of a ninth member.

How about Donna Troy for her ass?

Guardian
Steel
Atom-Smasher
Bumblebee
Green Arrow
Black Canary
Raven
Red Tornado
Red Lion

>Superman
All round powerhouse, great public face. Also his power-set is hugely versatile - his sensory powers alone are worth it alone, in any situation.

>Green Lanterns (Jessica and Baz)
GL rings are versatile, both are capable and useful in a Fight

>Flash
Self explanatory

>Martian Manhunter
Powerhouse, Telepathy, infiltration.

>Zatanna
Magic

>Dr Fate
More Magic

>Mera
Power, tits.

>Firestorm
Power

>Barda

>Superman - his inclusion should be obvious
>Wonder Woman - likewise
>Nightwing - subverting Batman, he's a character who's built for teams much more than Bruce.
>Raven - Team's magic user, has history with Nightwing
>Firestorm (Gehenna) - A more obscure version of Firestorm who has a lot of potential character development and no other current ongoing to give the writer full flexibility with her.
>Guy Gardner - the team wildcard, fills the lantern slot
>Bart Allen - an underused flash who's less experienced in the role than Barry or Wally, which means that it makes more sense for him to not show up the others.
>Shayera Thal - a good parallel for Diana to bounce off of and a way to incorporate the hawk mythology into the mix.
