yeah John Cleese replacing Desmond Llewelyn sounds so fucking stupid on paper but somehow he's the only person I can imagine inheriting the role. Ben Wishaw is fine but I feel the same way about his Q and Naomi Harris' Moneypenny, the casting is fine for the way the characters are written now but the concept of the rebooted version doesn't really work. Like Q is too young for the dynamic between him and Bond to work as it should, and Moneypenny being a field agent removes all of the charm from the character.
Jeffrey Wright's Felix Leiter and Ralph Fiennes' M are just as great as the original versions of the characters, although I don't think Judi Dench's M can ever be topped. Wish we got more Leiter in these movies.
Are there any classic characters left for them to reintroduce in Craig's last film? I know he has a housekeeper named May in the books but I don't think she was ever in any of the films. I think 1/2 film characters like Zukovsky and Quarrel/Quarrel Jr. could come back with it working. or maybe JW Pepper
