legitimately what is up with all the Sup Forums threads today? mods must have deleted at least like 3 porn threads that were clearly from Sup Forums

I said a prayer to my shrine of Jolly Ranchers and peepee jars

All day, every day.

For what? Fucking up a chance to have good DC movies?

>implying

Thank you based Zach Snyder for killing off any chance at a DCEU.

Now us DC fans don't have to deal with all the normies that marvel fags have to deal with.

>November 2017
>Justice League bombs hard
>200M opening followed by 14% RT score
>Thor Ragnarok makes more than it and get a 95% RT score (totally likely since Taika is a GOD at directing)

>People will still act like Zack Snyder isn't a fucking awful director.

>Be Zach Snyder
>Sit down with David Goyer the shittiest screen writer in Hollywood
>Think you should be the director to "re-invent Superman"
>Take Philosophy 101, make Superman into a symbol of a god
>Im12andthisisdeep
>Movie comes out
>Tanks
>Autistic retards think it's deep because they have the intellect of a 12 year old
>Somehow manage to keep your job

Batman v Superman and Man of Steel definitely didn't "tank" but WB was expecting MoS to make close to $1B and it expected 100% that BvS would make $1.5B.

So yeah, they KIND of tanked, but not really. They tanked hard enough for Zack Snyder to definitely not be able to keep his job but alas, here we are today.

It tanked in a sense that it made less money then two D-listers having a civil war.

A movie with Batman and Superman in it, fighting, should easily make more then a billion dollars. The fact that it failed to make more money then 2 characters nobody knew about 10 years ago is a travesty.

I was made fun of two years ago for saying Civil War would without a doubt make more money than BvS.

The same people who made fun of me then are now the same people who make fun of me now for saying the max amount of money Justice League could make is $900M.

The sad part is that Marvel has D-listers that look like A-listers.

Justice League is A-listers that all look like D-listers. Like seriously what the fuck is up with some of those costumes?

If Justice League doesn't crack a billion, Snyder's got to be blacklisted afterwards, right? He'd forever be known as the one who killed the goose that laid the golden eggs. Any right-thinking studio would treat him like the Wachowskis at that point.

>Batman v Superman and Man of Steel definitely didn't "tank" but WB was expecting MoS to make close to $1B

Wow, there are people still making this claim?

Lmao you think wb was expecting BvS to make any less than that?

>Nolan makes $1B with Batman twice in a row
>Iron Man 3 makes $1B
>Avengers makes $1.5B

Yeah, something tells me they thought a Nolan-produced dark reboot of Superman in the midst of peak-cape era could hit a billion dollars.

You sound like the whiniest pussy on earth. I bet your normalcy is fucking staggering.

It's kind of funny how so many people on here (well, Sup Forums really) like to talk about how there is a grand conspiracy to torpedo the DCEU by Disney through critics. These people cannot honestly comprehend that Snyder dropped the fucking ball when adapting the two most iconic superheroes ever.

Nobody cared about a single MCU superhero outside of Hulk and Spider-Man, who just showed up, but the MCU is way better received, critically and commercially.

Zack Snyder is a hack. David S. Goyer is a hack. Warner Bros. fucked up big time putting their eggs in that basket.

Ayup.
Marvel made the fucking Guardians rake in cash like mad in a spectacle of profound ridiculousness and genius.
A group nobody knew much about outside a small group of Marvel readers.
They just know how to make a film look worth watching and how to engage their franchise, as opposed to DC's pathetic mix of flailing about in tone and pandering.
Not that they are perfect, but at least their movies are competently made at their worst.

> dvd release fixes all the problems

...

> dvd release fixes all the problems

That definitely wasn't the case with Batman v Superman.

>> Close to $1B

Try well over 1.3 billion shekels. variety.com/2013/film/news/warner-bros-sets-bar-high-for-latest-and-priciest-incarnation-of-superman-1200493334/

What the fuck

Leaks have stated for a long time that Snyder was never going to direct Justice League 2 after BvS happened, with names like Ben Affleck, George Miller and Peter Jackson mentioned as replacements. They also mentioned that either JL cracks a billion or Snyder goes back to music videos for the rest of his life.

Plus JL is under his original contract that started with Man of Steel, which was for three movies, and afterwards WB has no red tape to simply let him go.

For some bullshit reason WB wanted Man of Steel to not only pay for itself but also the false starts and development hell for things like Superman Lives. Which makes no sense and is almost as big a set up for failure as them making the movie on an unrealistic and unhealthy deadline to retain rights.

I literally work up by listening to the audio files of Bvs.

I love how triggered manchildren are at anything that has substance. And yet you clearly didn't understood anything that wasn't muh jesus

If Sucker Punch didn't blacklist Snyder, nothing will
