In celebration of Titanics 20th anniversary, whats your favorite scene?
dude who hits the propeller
when the aliens vaporized johnny depp was a p kino scene
did he died
This. The propeller guy.
I think this is the movie that gave me a liking for bush
Either this or seeing my mom naked
reminder Titanic was originally going to be much darker and horrifying
i like the part where every cis white male slowly drowns to death and then dies
fpbp.
Whole dramatic sinking and then guy hits propeller. It makes an unintentional grim comic relief.
The part where based black science man blows the fuck out of james cameron by lecturing him on stars
>practice with that axe
>hits spot
>okay now hit the same spot again
>misses by a mile
>....okay enough practice
Keep ORDAH HERE!!! Keep ordah ay say.
Is this it? Is this all you can conjure, Atlantic?
Posting GOAT ost
youtube.com
ouch
no CGI could do this film justice
I liked the part where cal slaps the shit out of rose, she really deserved it
most of the upper class deck scenes were really comfy
one day I want to go on a cruise with a similar formal atmosphere. anyone know if there's any in operation at the moment?
the scenes with old haggy Rose
If you want an actually passenger ship (like titanic) theres only one left, the Queen Mary 2, that takes trips from NYC to ENGLAND.
Cruise ships would just be trash
When Leonardo di Crapio drowned.
thats too bad. as far as i know, passenger ocean liners dont really exist anymore
...
youtube.com
I fucking the score that plays during this scene
the queen mary 2 actually has formal dinners
and dress required in most areas after 6 pm, that's why I deleted my post. casual wear is expected during the daytime, so I assumed dinners were dressy casual like standard cruise ships
this voyage sounds like it would be a great experience after reading more about it. I live in southern New England, so I could drive to the port in New York with a rental car and fly back after spending some time in England
Heres the track you want friend
I've never seen it. Am I missing out? I just assumed it was romance shlock with decent set designs.
This is the best scene in the movie.
remake when?
Romance aside the sets were designed pretty well and theres plenty of practical effects. I'd watch it at least once. Its currently in theaters if you wanted to see it there
Titanic?? A popular movie?? No way. You must have no brain to enjoy a movie like this hehe
>a-am i doing good Sup Forums?
Probably best to see it there, maybe I'll give it a go.
holy fuck, came here to post exactly this
thanks senpai
when will they finally release Titanic 2?
youtube.com
Is there a better way to make webMs? I have to open the video in Vegas, crop it to the scene, save it as an mp4, open it in Xmedia recode, then try to get it under 3mb.
Tedius as fuck, whats a better way?
>spend all this time not watching Titanic because everyone said this is when "Cameron sold out"
>watch it last month
>it's actually amazing and a true testimate to Cameron's growth and skill as a filmmaker
I should've never bought into the "titanic was bad" meme
It's still pretty horrifying, or at least that's how I remember it.
...
Das muss das Boot abkönnen.
THAT'S GOTTA HURT
The aptly named WebM for Retards
Well you’re and idiot for listening to people.
The scene where it became the most successful movie of all time and doubled the gross of the most hyped movie of all time up to that point, blowing the fuck out of Star Wars manchildren.
...
the one where she didn't save him so that he could 'sacrifice himself' and bring in the cashflow from female apes worldwide
fucking biology, i fukcing hate humnas so fuckign nmuch
That uncut scene where he connects all the parts of the ship from 1st class to poor suckers shoveling coal into the furnaces by going down pipes and stuff.
Reeeally great video, by the way
youtube.com
thanks bro
>It's so strong, not even God could sink it
>GOD ALMIGHTY
This shit was fucking disturbing.
I second this. I am waiting since 2009.
Underrated
Friendly reminder that the alternate ending was cheesy and had no climax at all
Friendly reminder this was the ACTUAL ENDING until they forced Cameron to change it. I usually agree with Jim on most choice but damn this was an awful ending an I'm glad they changed it
>what can men do against such reckless hatred
yeah it's really good, I'm as much as anti-romance as possible
Yes, I am very glad as well, it would have been hilariosly bad
>So much depth... what can men do against such reckless weight?
eggsplane
Based on the script and Cameron descriptions he intended the "Brock finds happiness not in objects but people" hippie shit to be the first filmed ending. It wasnt until later they remade the ending with Rose alone throwing the necklace over the edge
>The people are completely white and missing a face.
The credits
I like the bit immediately after where the webm cuts off
>bitch has rich fiance
>poor Chad makes her gina tingle
>bitch fucks Chad
>does early 20th century equivalent of sending chad nudes
>steals pricey necklace from rich fiance
>ship sinks
>bitch lets Chad drown rather than have to take a turn in the water showing she never truly loved him
It actually a movie about a selfish, slutty, basic bitch when you think about it.
titanic is overrated af its so cheesy with the most inconsistent tones
what exactly did you expect from Cameron? a fucking Mona Lisa of movies or what? get real you pleb
the credits, thank god internet was not like it is today, it would be a pain in the ass.
And that fucking cunt singing that overrated piece of shit of a song, i`m stopping here, gotta throw.
Take a turn in the frigid arctic waters, just to sit on a wood plank and turn to an icicle.
Fixd
...
That's because it is. However, I think it's worth watching at least once for the final act, which is brilliantly shot and directed. Definitely one of my favourite action sequences of all time.
I thought he made that bad ending on purpose?
based
Saw this during its 3D run in theaters. It was pretty enthralling desu.
I find the non-sinking scenes to be a bit forgettable
Except the one where Cal says the ship is unsinkable and that the First World War won't happen
FPBP
Jesus, I would probably love this movie if not for all the shit with old Rose. It's like they built commercials into the actual story.
A new meme?
knew this was the first post even before entering the thread
propeller dude it's the best part in the movie
Nah, Bernposting predates LOTR tax threads.
...
i love these longs distance shots
Anything with flooding corridors.
Sinking ship movies make me hard. Any other good ones besides titanic?
The credits
he turns into a propeller lol
