Episode title is a parody of a 30+ year old movie

>episode title is a parody of a 30+ year old movie
>said movie isn't referenced in the episode itself

>In a show for 12-year-olds

>Sup Forums is so desperate to bitch about something it has come to this

Title dropping is a thousand times more autistic than what you described, OP.

Ed Edd 'n' Eddy is a fucking masterpiece and you're a faggot.

get some taste you faggot

i liked that in the 90s iron man series
the titles were from the fun silly silver age stories, but the show itself tried to stay 90s and serious and badass, to varying levels of success (season 2 was a lot better)

Hey, we're running out of tropes to bitch about! We have to reach somewhere.

>The One where an user bitches about something stupid

So every post in every thread ever?

>episode title is a single word connected to what happens in the plot in some way

Hilarious in retrospect, but boy does it make referencing episodes a pain.

>Hey, remember that episode of EEnE where they went Up!
>Oh yeah, that was great, what was that episode called, again? Oh right, it was called "They Call Him Mr. Ed", a reference to the late 60's thriller, "In the Heat of the Night" as well as a reference to "Mister Ed", the talking sitcom horse from the 60's and had a title card picture involving teaching for some reason? Maybe it's another reference I'm not getting.

I like these.

>Episode title is a parody of something so old/obscure that no kid would ever get it

Is not having enough tropes a trope?

>Kiki's Pizza Delivery Service
to make it worse it's weeb shit

The tropest trope of them all, every single Sup Forums trope thread have the same ones

>greek mythology cartoon
>hades is the bad guy

>if you kill him you wil be as bad as him

>character says something using technical terms
>speak in english!

>episode title is some uncreative and obvious title that's been used a million times, like Flower Power

Eventually getting those references feels great though

>Show has flash backs showing the origins of stuff
>Origins episode happens
>Completely ignores past origins and make up new ones

>Title is a play on a word you know but don't know how to spell so you don't get the joke until years later

>it's a weight gain episode
>males get fat, but females don't, even if they eat about the same

>characters get redesigns/wardrobe changes in later episodes
>origin episode uses the redesigned/new wardrobe character models
