Whee!

Waid deleted his twitter

OP is a faggot

I give him a week.

He's addicted to outrage.

1) I haven't read anything today

2) I saw the FLintstones thread turned into pure shitposting, let's NOT DO THAT

I was so disappointed in Heidi MacDonald for pulling this sanctimonious "Mark Waid's desire for Jude Terror to be punched in the face is PROBLEMATIC" bullshit. Metaphor exists.

April Fool's was fun.

Today was a really good comics day. Enough good books came out that were all different to each other that even if you had the time you just don't have the headspace to pick them all apart in one day.

Seems a lot like some people around here....

(looks at people freaking out about canned pasta yesterday)

Was it as bad as I heard? I mean not Sup Forums stuff, who gives a shit about that, but "disjointed and lecturing and overwritten"

I'm pretty sure America by Rivera is indistinguishable from what Joe Casey would write as an America parody comic.

Hello, Storyteller.

Am I glad to see you, as Sup Forums has been working hard to suck this week.

Also, I swear Kate keeps getting better and better the more adventure games I play. Life is Strange is... not bad exactly, but it's a tough sit to be sure.

I feel sorry for the guy who banned for Posting all new inhumans

Flintestones was going SO WELL until that one guy saw a "strongman" or "Iron surgeon" archtype as Trump and the shit started to fly

America is living in a van because she's frightened of getting a new roommate. Meanwhile in Ultimates she's staring down a universal evil based in Galactus' world-ship.

That's actually a book you can write, but America isn't doing a good job of it.

I genuinely have a hard time believing it's not purposefully shitty.

...

>April Fool's was fun.
It was a good board. RIP

There's been a lot of shit since yeah.

Yes. It continues to read like it's written by someone who's not yet ready to do professional comics. I thought it was less atrocious than the first issue and the issue of Champions that came out today.

I found out Kevin Smith did a long interview with Andreyko, I'm excited to be listening to it tonight.

Today has just been shitpost city.

That's the culture these days. Maybe it's always been, but social media has made it so easy to throw shitstorms over fifty soundbites a day.

Please play Blade Runner!

Being able to deal with cosmic threats but not mundane things is kind of a staple of superhero comics?

i haven't read it yet tho

What chapter are you on? That game...goes places

Strange times are here

>Strange times are here
Sadly this.

Sucks for that guy, but it was fucking hilarious

I think /cock/ might have been superior to Sup Forums because on /cock/ we had a Devilman storytime that was fun and then on the regular board some guy had to shit it up by spamming Archie images.

I just wanna read Go Nagai with everyone, man.

I mean, Clod *is* about Trump, from the horses' mouth, but in a more abstract way than just hurr hurr

if that's you, Cranky, you've been naughty

Fucking Bendis is keeping Luke in the fucking Jessica Jones book, so now I have to keep reading that shitheap of a book.

God damn it, can't Walker call dibs on him?

>I think /cock/ might have been superior to Sup Forums because on /cock/ we had a Devilman storytime that was fun and then on the regular board some guy had to shit it up by spamming Archie images.
I will miss that board one pf the better mergers.

>Sucks for that guy, but it was fucking hilarious
Kek

legit didn't even notice

Are Marvel editors phoning in. One the better new 52 editors is editing America.

Because we can't have nice things

I found another Bolts fan on Twitter and it's been very cathartic

was /mlpol/ as good as it sounds

I am slow tonight because I'm down to one monitor because I did major computer surgery and forgot to buy a part, lol

You gearing up for something?

>was /mlpol/ as good as it sounds
At first it was shitstorm lots of pony and gore spam. I think /vint/ was on the worsts mergers.

>Please play Blade Runner!
There's a Blade Runner video game?

... Why? And I mean aside from "Fuck you, give me money."

Chapter 2. I honestly kind of want the tornado to destroy this bumfuck hive of shitheels. Max needs to use her timefuckery to get rich, and get herself, Chloe, and Warren out of this wretched place. I didn't save Kate. ;_;.

I stopped by /mlpol/ when I heard about it and it will probably be the highlight of 2017. More butthurt than a S&M club.

>Trump
>horses' mouth
Also visited /mlpol/, sounds like.

I upgraded my power supply and bought a new graphics card because the fan noise was driving me fucking insane when I did much of anything on the box

it's SO QUIET now, I'm cry

Did you forget an HDMI cable/converter?

>I found another Bolts fan on Twitter and it's been very cathartic

An actual Bolts fan, or a Bucky fan?

>Blade Runner video game
youtube.com/watch?v=JHkAZlq4HBs Made by Westwood.

/mlpol/ was a hilarious shitstorm. Some Sup Forumsacks were disgusted, some embraced it as scaring away normalfags, and /mlp/ was just happy to be on a board where they could post all the marecock they wanted.

Hah! No, Russell said that "He said the things I wish were true!" about Clod was basically the essence of his take on Trump.

I have two older monitors, so that white thing to Display Port is what I need

Blade Runner game came out in the 90's, absolutely one of the best adventure games of all time. It's a standalone story set in the same universe but deals with the same themes and questions. Many Blade Runner fans consider it an essential companion to the movie.

Also changes whether you turn out to be a replicant or not depending on what you do in the game.

Blade Runner sold well, but due to high development costs, the profit margin was low. According to Louis Castle, "The mere fact it was four CDs made it a very expensive game. And the deal we had with the Blade Runner Partnership meant it was not terribly profitable. It didn't do as well as you might think."[17] Although Virgin were interested in doing a sequel, if a sequel were approved, the Blade Runner Partnership intended to increase the licensing fee. Ultimately, Westwood and Virgin concluded the cost of producing a game to top the original, coupled with the increased cost for licensing, made the prospect of a sequel economically untenable, as such a sequel would have to sell several million units to generate what would be considered an acceptable profit.[17] In 2009, the Blade Runner Partnership offered Gearbox Software the rights to the franchise, but production costs were estimated at $35 million and the project was scrapped.

Speaking in 2015 regarding a possible re-release of the game via Steam or GOG.com, Louis Castle explained the source code and assets were lost when Westwood moved its studio from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, thus making a re-release or a HD-remaster impossible. Even if the code was found, to restore almost a terabyte of assets, whether for new pre-rendered backdrops or full real-time 3D, would cost tens of millions of dollars, making a re-release as unlikely as a sequel.[26] The Blade Runner Partnership and Electronic Arts currently own the rights to the game.

Actual Bolts/was neutral on Bucky and can't stand him now. It's amazing.

LOLOLOLOLOL

No, that was /outsoc/.

is it just you in a mask OP

What the fuck? I still have that storytime tabbed.

>No, that was /outsoc/.
Damn.

I was personally amazed that Sup Forums shitposting beat out Sup Forums shitposting.

Huh. Alright then. I'll have to check that out sometime. Probably ought to rewatch the movie first though. Been a while.

>the source code and assets were lost
I am absolutely triggered.

>What would Bear Grylls do?
Something involving urine.

So I keep trying to click over to the other monitor and it's gonna drive me crazy until I fix it, of course.

what did I just click on

it's not!

is Sup Forums nothing but hipsters, or what?

>Huh. Alright then. I'll have to check that out sometime. Probably ought to rewatch the movie first though. Been a while.
Also youtube.com/watch?v=9sohZLaemTI Kojima Snatcher.

>>is Sup Forums nothing but hipsters, or what?
Pretty much.

>I am absolutely triggered.
Same companies need to find a way how to preserve those source codes.

Sup Forums went beyond hipster years ago. It's a zone of nightmares.

She actually programmed a second personality with slightly different husbando tastes to tweet at.

...

Yet I still like them more that Sup Forums.

You monster :(

The game does have a kind of crappy ending (in that they lead to to one, and the other did not have enough development time to flesh out) but there are some genuinely good storytelling moments

like the part you screwed up

Man you really do have good taste.

I really hope when Deathstroke ends Priest is on another DC book. Each issue of it is so enjoyable. Same deal with New Super-Man.

Every time I go to Sup Forums, there is either porn sitting up not removed, or a starlet of questionable age with the subject "How's her body of work."

I'd love to see Priest on something completely different in tone but still kudzu plotted

Red Hood got a weird makeover. Is this pre-feminist Jason Todd?

>Man you really do have good taste.
I hope is good. youtube.com/watch?v=5y9711pvZkc

This is another example of two people who are actually one person.

Someone in another thread is convinced that New-Super Man will be done at #18 because apparently the artist is moving on to Action Comics. That would be a shame.

Shade was different today, but I still liked it. It might end up being a little too queer for some parts of Sup Forums, but so was the Millgan series

>A weapon appears in the tree next to her
>"I need a weapon"
And you were doing so well, Kate!

The one-upmanship in Deathstroke is amazing. I imagine he is cackling while he's planning it out. Same in Captain Atom too: we're starting out Nate with three civilian identities not two this time.

I really liked today's issue, it felt very in line with some parts of the old series.

Being an industry veteran now Priest can basically do whatever he wants, it's awesome.

One of us is a Snatcher

Haven't gotten to Snatcher, since Kojima is a bit of an involved process to sit through.

But yeah, Life is Strange is a tough one. I actually kinda like Max. She's a pretentious hipster with bad taste, but she's at least noble and has agency as a main character, and thus drives the story instead of being a glorified prop. Fucking Jodi. Kate is kinda the same way. Sure she's an ass, but she's a likeable ass who actually matters worth a damn to the narrative.

...

18 issues would be a damn fine NSM run, really

O___O

Rebirth as success has Johns in a command position, I suspect.

If you want some obscure Kojima games, my recommendation will always be Boktai. Fucking NOBODY played those games.

Also, well, DC is looking real good against the self-inflicted hard L Marvel took this week

also why did no one tell me about Skeletor all up in this motherfucker: campaignlive.co.uk/article/pick-week-moneysupermarket-skeletor-mother/1428910

Pls no

>You monster. :(
I TRIED, DAMMIT!

But yeah, despite everything, this game is keeping my attention, even if it can be a huge pain in the ass.

Also, minor note. Am I alone in thinking Alyssa is basically just a human Lumpy Space Princess?

>Research the movie
>Not reread the infinitely superior book
YOUR TASTE IS

I
T

Snatcher doesn't feel like a Kojima game at all, actually. It's pretty straightforward, just a noir mystery story. It's like Phoenix Wright without the court parts and with Blade Runner's setting.

...

DC made a LOT of effort to get goodwill through Rebirth, including a "we fucked up" statement and a change-up of creative teams.

Read all of PKD when I was like 14, there's definitely stuff the movie does that's better/just new. This kinda conversation is dull anyway.

I actually feel kind of bad in that it's pretty clear if you read it that Gabriel was saying "We got some pushback from some retailers about diversibooks" which is not "We're blaming low sales on diversibooks", but, well, they lost control of that narrative fast

That chapter had the "find the beer bottles," right? Nothing that tedious ever happens again from my (old) memory. The end of that chapter is the first time that the player realises that they actually have to pay attention to dialogue and background details

Live by the clickbait, die by the clickbait I guess.

There is that, yes.

>user continues to give Beyond Two Souls all the shit it deserves

My only experience with that game is the Best Friends playthrough and later discussions on it. That game is fucked up, like, REALLY fucked up.

Apparently there was a cut scene where the stopping the men in "the bar" is OPTIONAL, and you can let the obvious scene occur, and there's a line where she tearfully asks the ghost why he didn't stop them. Seriously user, the sooner you purge that game from your memory, the better you'll be. Just remember to get rid of all evidence that you had it, so you don't randomly remember the really fucked up crap that made it in.

youtube.com/watch?v=rAzcVPfgp6Q This pretty creepy Cut rape scene audio Removed from the game.

best boy

D:

owowowowowowowowowowowowowowow

That looks painful

TAAAAIYYYOOOOOOOOOO

Hey look its the return of the bestboy henchie

Oh shut up. We are so not doing the whole book vs movie crap.

>straightforward
Sold. Pretty sick of overly complicated narratives. It's a might fucked when a Yoko Taro game is easier to follow than Metal Gear. And yes, I just went there.

Kate, Helena, pls. Speaking of stuff I gotta check our more of, I need to read more of Helena's stuff.

Tokimeki Memorial Drama And ZOE.

My only experience with that series was the BattleChip based off it in the Megaman Battle Network series

Honestly I'd probably be a lot more willing to argue for Marvel if I had any faith in them long-term. You talked about a retrenchment but I don't see one actually worth anything yet.

If we're comparing, pretty much every big two comic I'm finishing weekly that I think damn that was a good fucking book is DC right now.
