I wish I had the time and means to do a fan edit myself; I know that there's a bunch out there, but they don't satisfy me (and they have a bunch of very amateuristic ugly-ass cuts). Not every new story element that these movies included are bad to me, e.g. I enjoyed the necromancer subplot and the battle with Smaug under the mountain.
