It's a 'Rogue absorbs a nonhumanoid mutant's powers and transforms' episode

>It's a 'Rogue absorbs a nonhumanoid mutant's powers and transforms' episode

Happened recently in Uncanny Avengers when she kissed Deadpool

I'd hardly call this nonhuman though.

Claremont happened, Rogue. Just be glad you aren't Jean Grey, Selene, Callisto, or Storm. They all received the tentacle hentai make over.

Rogue just swapped powers and physical looks with her foster brother.

I love that after this happened, Kurt contributed absolutely nothing to the comic other than a teased death at the end. Meanwhile, Rogue's page time sky rocketed.

Just gonna ask.

Has Rogue ever actually stolen Blob's power? I mean, there was that bit in X-Men Evolution but she never actually took on his... bodytype.

I'd accept Strong Guy as an alternative.

Shouldn't her hair fall out?

Is this the comic where she and Spider-Man had a fling?

...

She should steal Starfox's power.

She got kinda gross and bulgy once when she touched Mojo.

Yes, this was Claremont's ill fated, X-Men Forever. This is the only thing Claremont has ever written that I like.

It's pure, unfiltered batshit insanity. Think: Frank Miller rewriting The Dark Knight Returns as an unironic porn parody.

Wait, Rogue absorbed Deadpool's cancer?
How does this works? I thought that Deadpool's power was the healing factor that he got to counter the cancer, but the cancer ended up gaining a healing factor too and that made his body the fucked up mess it is.

>This is the only thing Claremont has ever written that I like.
trying too hard

>Watching Teen Titans Judas Contract
>The main antagonist is using a machine to steal the Titan's powers in order to use them for his own
Guess this is the closest DC has ever come to trying to create their own version of Rogue

Correct... sorta. The healing factor merged with the cancer, so the condition that repairs him is also tearing him apart constantly. It's part of why his appearance is so inconsistent, and depending on the writer, the origin of his insanity and immunity to psychics.

When Mimic, who basically has a bargain-bin version of Rogue's abilities but can stock five powers at a time, used the healing factor to save himself in Exiles... it didn't end well.

Remember that time Rogue became the super-skrull?

Ok, it doesn't make complete sense but this is kind of cute. Is Uncanny Avengers worth picking up?

How is it trying too hard, when it's the honest truth? I'm not a fan of Claremont's writing style or choice to promote sexual violence as a standard plot device.

Dident spiderman consider fucking in that issue

That's a goddamn net loss in hotness

DC has Black Alice, a teenager who can steal magic powers for a limited amount of time. She stole from a teleporter once, but was not aware of how the powers wored

>or choice to promote sexual violence as a standard plot device.
You are a living, breathing parody.

I'm guessing Simone wrote this.

But Rogue only got hot after she absorbed Carol's powers.

The art is pretty dope

what issue was this?

>Rogue transformation

That's my favorite episode.

Post Beast!Rogue

Gotcha, senpai.

Yes, but keep in mind that is a bit disjointed and has a slow, weak start.

Thanks bud

good ol' Claremont

It was actually Tony Bedard, who took over from Simone after she left for the first time. It was one of her OC's versus another (Misfit v. Black Alice). It was from a Final Crisis tie-in (Darkside Club, BoP 118)

Pepe Larraz.
We had a thread half a day ago, I think. You may find it in the archives.

Speaking of Claremont, I've been itching to get into the 80s-00s X-Men, but I'm waffling on a good spot to start and finish. Any suggestions, Sup Forums?

Thread's still up, Uncanny Avengers #25

>Remembering UA#1 vol.2
>Rogue is very open about how much she hates Deadpool
She really went full-tsudere with Wade, yes?

What happened?

Just start off with the Uncanny X-Men omnibus series. The art was better in black and white anyhow.

danke

I've just downloaded the last couple of issues

wasn't there a comic where she touched Juggernaut and went on a rampage?

This is really nitpicky but the torn gloves are bothering me. The way it split means that instead of her four fingers merging into two, two of them grew larger while the other two disappeared. That seems weird to me her power would ever remove anything.

Reminds me of the X-Men Legends video game. Rogue sorta offhandedly mentions that she bumped into Nightcrawler and turned blue for a week.

Kind of sexy

Fuck you with a rake OP, I looked at the image and thought Nocturne is back.

I'll check it out. Thanks!

Granted this part of the book wasn't credited to Chris but jeez...

...

I actually went to the liberty of copying all the relevant pages and panels with Rogue and Deadpool, and it was really interesting to see how their relationship evolved throughout the book

>I like my standard plot device to be pure violence, sex is a big no.

I am pretty sure that Claremont has a transformation fetish.
