Did you like it?

Did you like it?

A good sign that people actually enjoy a show on Sup Forums is when no one talks about it.

Does it hold up with age?

I liked it a lot. Haven't watched it in years.

Yes

certainly not on the same level as samurai jack, but it's fun

...

>Did you like this show?
>Not as much as I like this completely unrelated show!!!!
I'm wet thinking about a few months after season 5 ends and we can jut be fucking done with it.

What happened to Jack Spicer at the end?
Dude should probably just make bank selling his machines.

He just went back to be a villain.

Loved it. That said the last season was easily the worst one.

>Two American action shows heavy inspired by Asian culture and released ruffly around the same time should not ever be compared

If I went into a Jack thread and started comparing it to this without any prompting, you would not be making this stupid fucking argument.

Probably would've been better if WB had made it, because without them making it a bunch of stuff had to be changed and renamed without explanation, and it was weird because it was trying to be something new but also not.

if you said something like "the show is fun but I wish it could have been as fun as xiaolin showdown" you would probably get a handful of people agreeing with you

Yes and Jack is still one of my favorite villains of all time

while I don't believe what you're saying, you're still proving a different point.
that poster didn't say "I think Jack has better action" or anything along those lines.
The post was just:
I like it. But boy oh boy do I like Samurai Jack more!

He was a cool guy.

Not him but it really isn't a fair comparison.

Just because they're Asian influenced cartoons made in the west doesn't mean the comparison is always justified; especially when just about nothing about both shows hold any substantial resemblance.

The animation is horrendous
I hate the designs
This I like the concept

The last airbender set such a high standard when it comes to magical elemental kungfu

I like how he went from 'generic teenage villain' to one where he tries so hard to look in front of other villains and hilariously fails

and even retconed the chronicles

...

>hey wanna fuck my ancient heylin eternally tight magic box? i know moves that make kama sutra look like childs play.
>lol no way fag

Is that a matriarchfornicating Jojo reference?

Hell yeah, It was great.

This, Avatar and Jackie Chan Adventures made Kung Fu look like the coolest thing to ever exist.

Kimiko and Clay were Sadly underused

its funny that he is so bad at villiany that he was suppose to turn good in the end

Psst.

...

why not cut the middleman?

GHOST BLOWJOB
WOO
WOO

Watching Kimiko change her hair and outfits all the time really fueled my preteen boner.

Grey DeLisle always helps, too.

...

...

Why does Wuya always betray other evil people but she didn't betray Raimundo?

The best thing about Jack is that, even though he was basically a JOKE, it's been shown that not only is he smart enough to outsmart Chase Young but if left alone he will take over the earth and send all his former "heroes" into a dungeon for all eternity.

Well Chase didn't bother to give her full power back, and Bean seems like someone you absolutely can't trust. Then there was Jack who was a complete fuck up. Rai though immediately helped her accomplish her goal.

She betrayed Jack after they assembled the thing with the Heart of Gong.

I stopped watching before the bean guy, is it worth picking up and watching again?

this and that. Remenber what chase said:
>the same thing that makes her the best partner it's also the reason why she cannot be trusted
The only one who could be fully trusted would be jack spicer... but ofcourse none of the evil wanted to be his friend, they just used him.

And then they all fucking lost against him in the future where Omi disappeared. The ancient evils are just a bunch of senile old fools that think they're hot shit.

LoL, Jack spicer futuristic robot evil world domination timeline was the best. I wonder if the next gen will have a good and mature jack spicer (like dexter in the future)

Xiaolin Chronicles sucked and hardly anyone acknowledged it existed, so a sequel won't be happening anytime soon.

Loved it. The whole concept of collecting the Shen Gong Wu made it (and Jackie Chan Adventures) one of my favorite shows. Even more when they started with the lore.

...

...

I guess the future isn't all bad.

>Terrible animation
>Forced stereotypes
>recycled plots
>redundant episodes (two different macguffins which are the exact same thing)

It's one of my favorite childhood shows, op.

I didn't find it particularly groundbreaking, but it had some nice jokes coming from Jack I think his name was.

Some ep he turns into a monkey and Wuya tells him "alright monkey boy, do what you want" and he very proudly says "that's right, a monkey boy that handles this business".

For some reason it cracked me up hard.

I watched it fairly recently, like we'll say within a year ago, and I thought it held up quite well. What really struck me the most is how much more I liked Clay watching it as an adult and how frequently it's straight up just the OMI SHOW until the back end of the third season.

Rai being named leader wasn't TOTALLY out of nowhere, but it definitely came up fast as far as episode focus is concerned.

Also Addendum: Hit-flash and neutering fight sequences is a fucking EPIDEMIC in the early eps of the show, but by like mid-2nd season the show is in a pretty comfortable place as an action show.

Jack's basically just an evil Saitama, a villain as a hobby.

That's it Sup Forums! I challenge you to a xiaolin showdown!

I wager my Mantis flip Coin! What do you wager?

Jet Bootsu.

Your virginity and selling it to a bunch of people.

Hope you don't lose.

Jack was held back by his fanboyism and his need to impress people above him. If he applied himself (which he did multiple times) he was shown to single handedly destroy the monks and embarrass them.

You know, the original purpose of a xiaolin showdown was to end a stalemate
but most of the time the two guys just go to the Wu at the same time

Why doesn't anyone just, I dunno, kick the other guy in the crotch and make a run for it?

WHAT A DOJO!

Yeah I liked it

Anyone have a MEGA link? I want to watch it again.

All the episodes were on dailymotion last i checked

This
Dude, this shit was god tier

>Psh No way fag

>that whole episode where Omi travels into the future
>and with no Omi to get in his way Jack becomes unstoppable and fucks everyone over
Super good.

>tfw I still wanna fuck Doyle
Help me Sup Forums

Wuya really likes to violate personal space.

I wanted to fuck the not-Catwomen chick and the one that was like a mask but turned delicious brown so yes

...

>that whole fucking twist where he's Kur
>finds a ritual to banish Kur's spirit
>goes through with it
>has to stop it from going all the way through because he's LITERALLY KUR, spirit and all
>almost tears his own soul straight out of his own body
Now that sorta serious shit should be in more shows.

He has only one love, and its money.

...

Great, now I need Wuya porn. Does any even exist?

...

...

Nigga, you know what rule 34 states, right?!?

Use Googlefu to find it.

>Mala Mala Jong AND Wuya, AND all those other villains
They ended the show there because the monks died, right?

Yes though it's surprisingly rare for how high profile of a character she was.

>Jack Spicer is a loser for most of the show
>In a future without Omi, Jack conquered the world, imprisoned the Monks and the Heylin warriors
>The Heylin warriors find this hilarious and are totally cool with it, while the Monks are all but broken
>Episodes end with the elderly monks being slaughtered as Omi travels back in time
Shit was surprisingly dark and I loved it. Loser villains becoming genuine threats is something I never get tired of.

Being an ancient evil means that you are naralogically likely to be released eventually.

It was good. At least back in 2006

Rai actually helped her
Rai was a competent warrior who could be useful as a bodyguard
He didn't possess any way to seal her again she thought
He was a honest guy so she knew he wouldn't scheme and plan to steal her power like any other villain would
Ultimately Rai was more valuable to her than any of her mindless golem
Even an evil witch wants company that actually wants to be around her

This pretty much.

She wanted the D

If you remove the goggles would he die?

I want to see her cosplay as D.Va

I thought at first Kimiko was white since her first appearance had her blonde.

One of the things I love about this is unity through dick, EVERYONE did and still does want to fuck Drew

>that episode in Omniverse where Ben was hitting on her like there was no tomorrow

be honest Sup Forums would you betray her?

I wouldn't

is it just me who thinks that jack's design is really fucking good?

is ominverse good?
I only watched the original Ben 10 and a little bit of Alien Force

Nah, man, Jack's design is the shit. Best design for a villain.

I don't know what the general feel on it is, but I watched it just recently and here's my feelings
First as a side note about the artstyle, while looking kind of crappy at first, after you give it a chance is actually really interesting and full of personality, though it is sad that they went for such a simple style after Generator Rex looked fantastic
Now for the show itself, I went into this show not expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out that it was actually kind of enjoyable and fun, I was annoyed that Kevin and Gwen weren't main characters anymore, but I actually grew to really like and enjoy Rook as a character. The episodes can be on or off, but a good amount of them are actually somewhat enjoyable and for a little while I actually liked the story a bit (also CN COMPLETELY fucked up the release order for episodes, so if you want to watch it, watch Season 1 in release order and then S2-S6 in production order) - continued..

Okay so I was actually having a surprisingly pleasant time with Omniverse until one fateful day Season 6 attacked, specifically "The Rooters of All Evil" episode where the show started ruining literally- and I mean- LITERALLY EVERYTHING and Omniverse was sent on a downward spiral into one of the shittiest abominations I have ever had the displeasure to watch

>That episode where Rai just beat the shit out of Omi
>Turns out he was asked to do it by Omi's hero

Judging Jack's fetish for cheerleaders and the fact Wuya was dressed as one while captive in the Jack overlord future. Wuya totally made his boyhood melt.

Also something I didn't mention before in the other posts
Alien Force and Ultimate Alien are actually okay and pretty fun watches, so I could recommend, they're definitely different from the original though

His design is top-notch. I remember listing after him when I was a teenage girl.

I loved how he became the leader and Omi got BTFO.

Anyone would list him as a villain. He's just that good.

he betrayed her first most likely

the characters were surprisingly good, spicer in particular
it wasn't the best show, but it was pretty solid and had some neat ideas

>Try to find a video that shows all the future scenarios when aiming time traveled
>Can't find it
