And that's all folks. If I never see another captcha storefront again I'll be pretty damn happy.

Thank you for storytiming.

Hmmm, I wonder what this could be about...
>not religion
huh, colour me surprised.
Typical Ellis with the swearing and stuff, but some nice info regardless.

I love that first panel

>makes a fucking shit about "cannon" being the plural instead of "cannons"
>makes the exact same mistake on his own fucking map

Fucking limeys can't get their shit straight.

...

OK

Always enjoyed this. Have a bump.

Damn fine comic. Bump.

>Read back cover
>A highly trained but under equipped army invades another country due to that country's perceived threat to home security. The army conducts shock-and-awe raids designed to terrify the populace.

>in england, the word cunt is punctuation
can confirm, cunts.

He also says that we'll be hearing more about cannon later on.

We don't.

Want my money back.

Nice.

Holy shit, dat baby...

>3rd panel
Ellis you wonderful cunt.
I wish you'd stop giving up on things at the drop of a hat.

Pretty nice finally finding out what the square thingie at the end of a crossbow is for.

This here is a bit incorrect.

Black prince was quite a bro with his fellow English.

He just really hated the French.

>This here is a bit incorrect
That sums up Crecy as a whole.

Human ingenuity is an amazing thing

A bit.

It drums up the English as an Underdog a bit too much.

The English Army was fantastically efficient. But it also drums up the idea that the English longbowmen were somewhat downtrodden.

English longbowmen were paid very fairly and had strict laws.

A famous recount is the King demanding "Every Bowman in England must loose two arrows for the king"

So one guy showed up, Fired exactly two arrows and then told the King to fuck off and pay him.

England was always a fun contrast to Continental Europe. They praised Warrior Kings and Chivalry through the lens of Anglo-Saxons as much as they pretend they don't.

Thank you

Jet fuel can't melt steel beams
Arrows can't pierce plate mail

Casualty rates aren't right, 30,000 was the total number of enemies. It's very unlikely they killed all of them. While there's no realiable number, it can be assumed that 10,000-20,000 common soldiers died or were wounded.
