>Show's opening has clips from the pilot.
>The pilot isn't even aired.

>show's op includes scenes that have not aired in any episode

>show's opening has original footage, footage taken directly from episodes, AND footage created specifically to make viewers think it'll show up in a future episode
Which is why Rick and Morty's title sequence is the best.

>show has opening cut short forever
>show has opening that's just a title
>show loses opening completely
>show had no opening to begin with

I like that actually. It made me perk up when I recognizedan episode moment from the opening

>the opening spoilers a key scene that's only happening mid season

>Show's opening has clips from the pilot
>Said pilot uses completely different character designs from the actual show

Weird that Rocket Power did this.

>Superman The Animated Series was supposed to have an opening like Batman The Animated Series
>budget's not there so they splice in clips

An unfortunate occurence.

>Show starts with a scene before the opening

>opening occurs at the end of the episode

>show's opening is an original animated sequence that showcases the overall plot and the characters' personalities perfectly and subtly foreshadows future events in the story without straight-out spoiling anything with a kickass catchy jam that gets you pumped up everytime it comes on

>title appears halfway through the episode

>shows opening is a kaleidoscope of random shit
Guess the show.

I kind of liked opening with clips of the actual show because if there were scenes I had not seen yet I knew there was still good stuff in store.

DBZ was the most confusing in this respect, because some scenes looked like they were from the show but others looked like they were made just for the opening sequence

>Opening has clips of the episode in it

Problem Solverz?
Aqua Something You Know Whatever?

Don't forget that they would also use scenes from the movies.

Hey the pillow fight scene came true, anything can happen. Still waiting on them to still lil'cthulu

>opening is a hilariously dated rap

Any Gundam show

>First time it airs you get the full length intro

>Every other episode is a cut down version

Fuck you Toonami

>clip show episode that calls back to things didn't happen that way, things that never happened, or something that happened in the same episode

Evangelion?

>Show's opening makes a parody of other show's opening

Guess some shows, guys

>Show's opening shows exclusively clips from the episode that is about to air
JLU was weird.

>Now that's what I call a sticky situation!

>Opening gets hijacked

>shows opening starts playing in reverse due to plot related temporal shenanigans

>They end up reminiscing about them reminiscing a minute ago

nichijou?

>show's intro is a bunch of clips from the movies
>the show's animation is slightly lower in quality than the movies

>Opening ends with laughter

>Clip show in the second episode
>It calls back to the same scene over and over again

But Jumbo Nitro had only one movie

>near the final episodes
>Sound effects and voices added to the intro

>Show's opening is a bunch of clips from the video game

I was thinking of DBZ

JoJo did it best, especially Part 3. Even if you knew what was coming it was still a sick-ass sequence.

I like this about attack on titans opening and closing animation

>episode skips the title
>it plays during the final battle

The Openings theme song is a god-awful remix of the original theme.

>Opening theme is instrumentally played at the credits

>shows opening has vocals that don't suck
>shows opening has upbeat music that sets a light tone
>shows opening makes you want to download the soundtrack

The Amazing World of Muriel was T H I C C

Opening theme is used for the final climax

>shows opening gets hijacked by main villain
fucking Gravity Falls and Jojo part 4

>show's opening has original animation that's actually on par with the animation in the actual episodes (instead of misrepresenting the look of the show with beautifully hand-crafted traditional animation by an animation legend)

*click*

I'm guessing you're not a fan of Gravity Falls or Steven Universe's openings, huh?
