Because we already blew our load making porn of her when the book first came out.

I don't have time to go autism over a kids puppy show! I'm too busy with kids cartoons

>Sup Forums

Are the Muppets truly Sup Forums?
They aren't cartoons
They aren't comics.

Also you are using the form "What did x mean by this?" a common shitpost form.

However in all reality, these sort of things don't really phase Sup Forums. This is a board that forced lesbian shipping into a children's animated television show.

Sup Forums is full of shitposting redditers who act smart by being contrarian and edgy. Sup Forums is full of horny losers who wanna jack off to a autistic muppet

Sup Forums didn't freak out. Everyone in those threads think it's funny. Sup Forums is full of real spergs they don't want to talk about it because the puppet reminds them they're retards

Puppets are Sup Forums

I don't need a puppet to remind me of that.

>>Sup Forums freaks out

Why? Who the fuck cares about a muppet on a toddlers show?

Puppets are a form of "animation".
>Real-time 'stop motion'

>Puppet acts slightly different from how some of the others have acted for over forty years

Yea its pretty nothing really.

I always nailed Burt has being some kinda High Function.

fpbp

Buddy Thunderstruck for example. Can't get much better currently.

>normal kids believe they can be friends with autistic kids.
>normal kids end up acting autistic.
Tolerance and acceptation create weakness.

I thought they had already added an autistic one years ago. It's not exactly surprising.

I did see some people who know more about autistic kids than me praise it so it's probably pretty alright.

>not Earnie

No Ernie is high functioning and Burt is his handler

Well Sesame Street is supposed to be informative for Kids so I have no problem with it. Wasn't there one where a muppet's dad was in jail?

but they're all already retarded

I don't get why this is a big deal on a show that has some green cunt living in a trash can and I highly doubt she's a bigger tard than Elmo and Ernie

Is Kubo Sup Forums, Sup Forums or Sup Forums?

The episode was discussed in the news actually.

It sounds like they handled the subject pretty well. Not really much to say after that, I didn't see the episode nor am I a parent.

It's Sup Forums.
Though I guess technically any movie/TV show is Sup Forums.

Shot in Portland so Sup Forums and Sup Forums

It’s a kids show. Some of the kids watching may be autistic. Nothing wrong with that, really. Just teaching them about life and shit. It’s a good thing really.

Why would it be Sup Forums? Laika is an American company.

Why the hell should I care? I assume the sesame street has done characters with disabilities before. it's a good thing really, helps kids get used to the idea of different people so that when they are in school they don't freak out about an autistic kid in class.

Kubo is as Sup Forums as Samurai Jack.
>Invokes the feel of Japanese mythology and folklore without ever committing to any concrete cultural references.

Also, why are people doubting that traditional stop-motion is in fact animation, and unquestionably Sup Forums?
The joke was that puppets, as on Sesame Street, are a few degrees removed from even stop-motion animation and can be construed as ambiguously "animation".

...

I thought this happened over a year ago

*blocks your path*

>Can't get much better currently

>Sup Forumsfugees are autistic
Pretty heavy handed there, Children's Television Workshop.

7/10, can't tell if this is bait or a legit r/tv/ poster.

THE. FUCK. SOURCE. NOW.

The show is called Pili.

>giving a shit about edgy redditors

...

my doctor said I might be autistic and I walked out of her office

I have said this numerous times already, but werent all muppets autistic already?

Close. Same guys, I think, but the actual show is Thunderbolt Fantasy, a collaboration with a Japanese company and the Taiwanese Puppet show makers. Best Anime of 2016.

Sup Forums knew about this years and years ago. I don't understand how this is news again. I recall the first threads.

From what I can tell, she was a book only character that recently got added into the actual show.

We're not wussies like Sup Forums

They said they were adding her when the book shit came out. It was a matter of when not a matter of if. Just seems retarded and behind the times is all.

What is Sup Forums even taking issue with?

Yeah, we're a completely different kind of wussy

Yes we are.

because Sup Forums talked about it over a year ago when it was revealed, and Sup Forums is being shitposted about it by people more autistic than felt

Sup Forums has for quite some time been "alright" with a few things that arnt actually comics or cartoons

one good example would be the puppetmaster franchise
1, it started as a movie, then spawned a comic
2. no one ever talks about (or probably owns or had read) the original comic
3. it has a current ongoing

should there be a thread about it? probably not, but there were several when it was storytimed a few months back
was there a ton of talking about the movies, that didnt get deleted? yes
theres a difference between being a bit off topic, and being a retard

>first thread on Sup Forums

>>Sup Forums freaks out

Oh yeah, like it's hard to make that happen.

What kind of insidious social propaganda is this?

In animation motion appears only during presentation of still images. That's the definition.

So anything on film then? Because that's all film is.. a series of still images.

So do they just act like this at all times in case anyone is watching so they have to behave as people expect them to or is this some kind of mating ritual?

What's the big deal? Sesame Street has had a retarded muppet for years, Elmo.

Thank you based Anons. I am now on a journey to consume as much of this as I can. I may not return.

finally got round to watching this - the boing-tag thing was kinda sweet

youtube.com/watch?v=dKCdV20zLMs

i did find the new big bird voice a bit off-putting though - not muh bigburd

the images you see on tv or monitor are just a series of still pictures of puppets.

...

the hell is wrong with the way big bird sounds? has Caroll Spiney given up or has he just aged? Does the fact sesame street had to introduce an autist to be progressive or whatever got to him?

lulz IKR

ages since i checked in on SS, though i used to love that show as a kid - so i'm guessing that's Matt Vogel

tangentially related, i seem to remember the Street having more edge - being a bit more realistically inner-city or something?

It's just age. The Simpsons cast all sound totally different now, well either that or they stopped caring.

You know, the clothing situation for the muppets have been dubious. This Julia has clothes. Elmo and Zoe do not. I guess that means Julia doesn't have fur? But then, Gonzo has clothes, but Kermit doesn't. What's up with that?

That's a big bird

Oh boy, another thinly-veiled bait thread trying to stir up some "Which board is more shit than the other?" sprinkled with some "I'm not from Reddit, YOU'RE from Reddit!"

Us 4channers, am I right fellas?

???????

Wow, Sesame Street is trying to teach tolerance and understanding to children? What a controversial new direction for the show, nobody could possibly have foreseen this.

You don't understand, user. The exact proper level of tolerance and understanding is what we were taught as kids. Shows these days just go too far.

>My childhood was the right childhood. All who have come before and after are doomed to disappointment.

Thanks for the wisdom, 90's Kid.

Upon five seconds more of reflection, I'm starting to think is being a sarcastic ruseman. You did me dirty this day.

Caroll Spinney is 83, he's been doing this since '69

Autists make me uncomfortable even the puppet ones

Well at least you caught on.

It means Sup Forums can't fap to underage autistics apparently.

Sesame Street is educational show for kids. Although some of us are adult autists, not everybody has the strength to marathon a half an hour episode. But Sup Forums pushes the agenda so much that I'm gonna finally watch it I guess.

>What is Sup Forums even taking issue with?
They prefer their autism girls to have actual holes

Are the Muppets not COMICal?
Are we not CARTOONish in appearance?
Wokka wokka!
I hope I don't forget the image again. That wound be embearassing

Anons, what the fuck did I JUST say.
>In animation motion appears ONLY during presentation of still images

In case of films the motion actually takes place in reality, it's just registered by camera.

>Sup Forums freaks out
But that's wrong. At least since the episode aired. Most posts said it was cute and that no one hates Sesame Street.

And this u.nya.is/zbutrq.webm

That's an insufficient definition because it blurs together with how all visual media functions.

Puppets are "animation" in the sense of the character/object being both designed/uniquely stylized, and having their characterization and movement be externally controlled.

Which is a loose, clunky definition that is still ambiguous about characters like Big Bird, but still should uniquely include and differentiate existing cartoon material from non-Sup Forums

Though, I don't know if there is any thought on whether animatronics are considered Sup Forums, but I guess if there isn't animatronic-dedicated media, that doesn't matter.

To be fair, the main segment in which she actually appears lasts around 10-11 minutes, then it's just other segments and songs that relate to it.

Moot wasn't all that picky about schematics when he was in charge. Puppets and dubbed Saturday morning anime were close enough in his opinion.

Nobody really knows what the hell the current stance on those is, so it just boils down to "it's on-topic if the janitors don't feel like deleting it".

Didn't that air on adult swim for a bit?

That's pretty much the case. Rules/policies around Sup Forums have typically been reactionary to when things are clearly getting too disruptive.

It's why early days on boards are a hoot, since the typical stance is "Here's some loose, vague standards to follow. Don't fuck it up for yourselves."

Maybe some are actually cheesed that Sesame Street "Sold Out" meaning they actually made a deal that gave them a budget.

Have the first run of HBO funded episodes started yet?

we know, there's also porn of her.
in the african version of muppets there's an HIV positive muppet

"And why does she have HIV kids?"

"Because backwards ******* raped her thinking it would cure them."

Question, are the Henson Company and SS affiliated?
And how is Henson financially?

Yeah, we're the weenie hut junior to their super weenie hut junior.

She's not new, only newfags on Sup Forums are surprised by this and only.

They're animating inanimate objects. I'd say puppets have more business being on Sup Forums than elsewhere.

Henson created the designs for the characters for Sesame Street so up till the late 90s when CTW later Sesame Workshop bought the rights the Jim Henson company owned the rights to the puppets.

>Are the Henson Company and SS affiliated?

On an initial glance, I thought you were asking if the Henson Company was affiliated with Schutzstaffel. I was bracing myself for a fresh flavor of lunacy.

Do people not remember the time Big Bird's old man friend died and he continuously tried to deny his death because he secretly couldn't cope with the reality

>giving a shit about contrarians AND edgy channers

Sup Forums - Real-time live-action stop motion

C'mon it's just as bad but not the rape thing.

She was born HIV positive.

>because her virgin mother was raped to cure her HIV positive attacker.

it's kinda old news. Sup Forums first learned about her from a kid's book a while back.

waste of trips

see

You're thinking of something else. That's Thunderbolt fantasy. Gen Urobuchi's last project. It's Taiwanese puppets written by a Japanese guy. Pretty good too. The ending is kind of an asspull but it's a satisfying asspull.

There are about as many autistic children born each year in America as there are gay people so it makes sense that you would have a few auts running around a show.

youtube.com/watch?v=xcXQreVesSs

I think it was this thing.
