Star Wars vs. The Forces of Destiny

Have you guys heard of this?

On one hand the idea of a cartoon about Star Wars girls is awesome (even if it's shorts). But I feel conflicted, like there's an agenda behind that decision.

>let's break gender stereotypes with a heavily market tested doll line for little girls

Nice try (((Disney))).

>that disgusting newgrounds flash-tier animation

Yeah this is a real victory for women everywhere. Obviously what we needed to get girls into Star Wars so they can buy the merchandise was a series of youtube shorts animated by pajeets working on a budget of 50 cents and some used twine.

>we want the DC super hero girls audience.
Whatever.

...

Do you complain when a male CEO wants to see men in lead roles? If not, what's the point? Kennedy runs LF, if she wants more female-centric stories, she can afford it. If it doesn't gain viewers, it will be lessened, capitalism in action.

Why is it female characters never have noticeable flaws?

Hoping for on model porn

That's true of real females too. Basically, women are perfect.

Does this mean they're going to keep Marvel more male audience oriented while new Star Wars stuff will be equally male and female audience oriented or more female audience oriented?

>tfw Disney wanted a series/toyline similar to DC Superhero Girls but didn't want to use Marvel gals because it would have been too obvious

Star Wars, more like Waifu Wars.

Could be good if it involves girls getting cucked.

God it looks horrible. Like something straight out of old school newgrounds.

If our give women real characters your sexist

Of course there's a fucking agenda behind it.

>look into DC Superhero Girls
>Beast Boy is there for some reason
What did they mean by this?

>Beast Boy can turn into any animal
>humans are animals
>therefore Beast Boy can turn into humans
>no limit on what natural traits the animal possesses
>therefore Beast Boy can turn into a female human

Beast Boy can become Beast Girl anytime he wants.

Yes, this is exactly what's going on. DC found/created an untapped market and now Disney wants a share of it.
Too bad almost all Star Wars females suck. The only few that come to mind as half-way interesting are probably Ahsoka and Ventress. But Ventress kind of got ruined in her book and probably isn't a good fit for this series anyway.
Who else is there? Luke with tits? Generic chick from Rogue one? Princess with a blaster pistol? Her daughter the princess with a blaster pistol? Green Jedi woman? Orange jedi woman? ...Yellow Jedi woman? Yellow Jedi girl?
Ok, yellow jedi girl maybe was at least a little interesting after she joined space ISIS. Not exactly small kids' show material though and they probably want to stay away from characters who got horribly murdered in Order 66.
I guess Hera was ok?

Yeah, I'm not seeing this at all.

Bye bye Super Hero girls

Hello Disney's VASTLY SUPERIOR version

what are you sexist?!

This is shit tho.

Also most of the popular women belong to Fox's X-Men and they're not going to Fox any favors promoting IPs they don't have rights to.

Why isn't there more of that?

>tho

umm...no?

ummm...die?

Back the fuck of!?

nah, but you can neck yourself while waiting for me. I promise I'll be right behind you.

Edgy.

>"kill yourself"
>"no u"
>"e-edgy!"

So edgy.

>there's an agenda behind that decision

There is sort of, but it's only because that agenda can be used to make money.

Aside from that, seems like a good idea both for business and as a creative project, but the animation is a bit lackluster.

IT's to maximize SW's profits. Star Wars already makes billions off of lonely white males. Imagine if you maximize the profits to make SW into this all inclusive deal? You'd make trillions!

Try not to cut yourself on that edge.

why you guys mad tho?

You mad?

you apparently are. I'm just here getting checking out the (you) notification. Thanks for that btw.

Eat THIS!

>Star Wars vs. The Forces of Destiny
you just had to make that pun.

I remember I mistook that show for some weird Star Wars spinoff the first time I saw the title.

You typed more so you lost.

I was told to Kill myself for typing short. Now I lose because I typed more?

Oh well, Thanks for the (You) tho!

You keep losing, loser!

Thanks! Another (You)!

You too!
