This image show how pathetic "critics" are, it's infuriating.

>for comparison, Age of Ultron has an 83%

It's over.

In literally every sector too, vg critics, food critics, fucking CRITICS, they're an obsolete entity.

>normies waking up to bought reviews
It should have happened with Ghostbusters or any Marvel movie but better late than never

Uh oh, that is NOT good, considering the movie just officially released today in a lot of places, and the audience score always goes down.

If the approval ends in the Rotten area I promise I will go and take a bath on a public fountain until I get arrested under public indecency

less than JUSTice League

Really confused as to why JUSTice League even got bad reviews, can DC not afford the same Disney is offering? Because TLJ was equally as bad as that.

It’s going to get lower. This will be attack of the clones teir for fans. Disney shills don’t bother you can’t stop it.

>This will be attack of the clones teir for fans

That's being generous. This is legitimately BvS tier, which has a 63% audience score on RT by the way.

>Lower User rating than Justice League

And you can't tel me Star Wars fans aren't as dedicated as DCucks.

How the ever-living fuck is it that high?

Perfect shitstorm. The effects were really bad so they could crucify it. It didn't seem any worse than a standard Marvel film to me

>mfw wont even watch the shitter flick but very invested in the memes and drama

Wasn't there a review that said it isn't perfect but scored it a 100 on metacritic?

I can see some "filmgate" shit coming out of this

They’re pathetic but not due to incompetence, they literally have agreements to not poorly review Disney movies. Every Marvel movie is certified fresh even the complete garbage ones like Ant-Man, Dr. Strange and Thor 2.

I've got no interest in the actual plot of Star Wars anymore. Just the behind the scenes drama

Bien hay mucho que decir sobre esta película;

Anyone notice the only certified fresh DC movie in recent memory is the SJW one Wonder Woman?

That’s all it took

Ant Man and Strange are two of the better ones you fag

I mean it's true. Wonder Woman was such forgettable trash I couldn't understand where any of the positive reviews were coming from outside of that

We all noticed. Have you actually read some of the reviews for this film? They're all so desperate to give it a pass so Disney doesn't stop inviting them to fancy screenings

Legitimately not a good movie and Disney probably has a stronger grip on the market than Time Warner does.

And there's that review of chris chan's brother where he clearly admits to give a rotten to a movie just to lower its tomatometer.
We're alive to witness the end of the power of 'reviews'

IT’S HAPPENING

>Amazing... Every word of what you just said, is wrong.

Why? Who can honestly defend this? This is a line from a sitcom or a snarky twitter post, not a lightsaber duel between a fallen student and his former master.

Luke should've just died on the Death Star after redeeming Vader.

Just like Disney Wars

Disney shills BTFO

LIVIN IT UP WHEN I'M GOIN DOWN

>Luke's dead

I literally don't care anymore and I'll never pay for a Star Wars film again. I can't speak for everybody but Rey and the rest of the new cast aren't interesting enough to carry this franchise

Why did Disney decide to make a trilogy when they didn't even have a script for the first one??? They decided they would make a SW trilogy with a female lead and a black pet and voila. The incompetence of Kathleen Kennedy is unimaginable and they won't fire her because these turds still make money and she's a womyn. If they fire her she will cry misogyny.
TLJ is getting completely ass blasted by user reviews on imdb:
imdb.com/title/tt2527336/reviews?

Good lord I hope it goes rotten

Plebbitors are fucking LIVID about Luke

how do i vote without making an account

Just use your sister's facebook and log in with that

Because they are so dumb, they didn't see it coming after TFA. JJ abrams had already assassinated his character, TLJ is the natural following of a very bad set up.

You need an account, it's easy user do it.

The mouse always wins and will produce at least 80% of films in near future

So they should be. What a terrible way to end Luke's story

...

It’s OVER

>99% audience score
>OH NO NO NO NO Sup Forums WAS WRONG AGAIN LOL LOOKIT DIS DUDE AHAHAHAH
>Sup Forums spams downvotes on it so the score goes down
>71% audience score
>OH NO NO NO Sup Forums WAS WRONG AGAIN LOL LOOKIT DIS DUDE AHAHAHAH

It's basically cause the mouse telling critics, whatever WB offer we'll double it

What?

>Sup Forums spams downvotes on it so the score goes down

Yeah that's totally what happened

>memers spamming downvotes

wow who cares

>Yeah that's totally what happened

Already looking at my Facebook feed. Most are just disappointed and hate it

>JJ abrams had already assassinated his character

Luke literally didn't do anything in TFA, and no one had any plans for what to do next after TFA released. You can blame a lot on JJ, but not this. The ruining of Luke is entirely the fault of the TLJ team.

When are Mike and Jay going to tell me what to think?

>s-s-stop voicing your opinions on a site that's meant for that!
the absolute STATE of disneyshills

it wont, not even ghostbuster2016 is rotten.

Soon my fellow Redditor! I just donated my paycheck to their patreon so that they can get a movie pass for the next Star Wars kino. Match me?

It's not sjw movie. but yeah, they just can't criticise films that has strong female lead

Yes it is

Mike will love it and Jay will go along with what he thinks like the spineless faggot he is

>>Sup Forums spams downvotes on it so the score goes down
Is this the narrative the Mouse is forcing you to push now? Because it looks desperate af

70% is too damn high

Episode VIII was fucking garbage.

>This image show how pathetic "critics" are, it's infuriating.

Professional critics have no fucking reason to exist anymore. There's nothing they bring to the table versus people who do it for free. It was always a matter of finding a critic you sort of agreed with and going from that.

Now you have a million options of autistic reviewers to match your tastes.

You're absolutely right. Star Wars died in 1997.

the movie is good, get over it
you were going to complain no matter what, and you did. raiding the website and lowering the score isn't going to change anything

I actually liked Justice League better, it wasn't a good movie but there were a few moments that I liked.

>How the ever-living fuck is it that high?

It started out on 90% and that's with the Disneybots pushing it up. The backlash is huge for such a tentpole movie.

I don't know what the fuck they were thinking honestly. We already knew there were big problems with these movies but they managed to introduce problems even the dumb masses react to.

Killing Snoke like a bitch, Rey being a literal who and killing Luke was huge mistakes. There was no good reason for anything that happened and you killed off characters people were excited about for no real reason or payoff.

The audience is wrong in this example. So who to believe when it comes to war space 8?

After three sub-par-to-terrible films and one good one, the critics were sick and tired of this universe and resented having to review the film. Star Wars, though, is still just charming enough that they're willing to let stuff slide.
In short, JL got bad reviews because the rest of the DCEU was bad, and Star Wars got a pass because the other films were good.

Ghostbusters was minor enough, but the critics just totally shot their credibility with this. No one will ever trust them again.

>and Star Wars got a pass because the other films were good.

But most Star Wars films are bad

IT WASNT SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE THIS. STAR WARS®: THE LAST JEDI® IS THE BEST MOVIE SINCE STAR WARS®: THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK®. FUCK YOU ALL

>JJ abrams had already assassinated his character

What? How? JJ had no plan for Luke at all, he was just hiding somewhere for reasons to be explained by the next director. This is literally how JJ operates, and it's confirmed by Rian. Luke just showed up in the end of TFA remember?

> Because they are so dumb, they didn't see it coming

Nobody saw it coming because it makes no fucking sense and they wasted it completely. The problem isn't killing Luke, it was pretty much a given Luke would die before the last movie. But he should go out with a real bang, real consequence, meaning.

>normies finally doing something worthwhile
did hell freeze over?

>it was pretty much a given Luke would die before the last movie

Why?

>>Sup Forums spams downvotes

Yeah you only see people upset on Sup Forums.

Everyone else everywhere is so happy with this movie.

>he was just hiding somewhere for reasons to be explained by the next director

It's like Disney totally forgot what made the MCU successful.

>Why?

1) Because Hamill is old.
2) Because Luke was meant to die in the original conception of Return of the Jedi
3) Because that's what Hamill wanted
4) It fits thematically with his character
5) It's pure pottery with his father's sacrifice

you're not old enough to remember all the shills saying revenge of the sith was better than empire

TLJ has a much more competent cinematography for one?

>It's like Disney totally forgot what made the MCU successful.
they didn't. they always remembered to put quips per minute

It was. What are you a pleb?

I've been laughing at people who are obsessed with conspiracy theories about Disney bribery, but this is the first time I'm starting to seriously consider it. I just can't think of another reason why "critics" loved this turd.

Strange was one of the best you collosal nigger.

>THEIR KINGDOM WILL FALL

You know a flick's shit when something under the golden child Disney umbrella, following such a well-received predecessor, with such mass market and nostalgic appeal ends, and so much media coverage and shilling ends up getting poo-pooed so bad. And you know something's rotten with the critics when they're not only at such odds with the audience, but picking a shitty blockbuster hill to die on. That kind of dichotomy is usually reserved for award-bait. I'm absolutely blown away that the backlash is actually this real and this widespread. I, as a The Force Awakens naysayer, of course had to consider the fact that I may have just been seeing what I wanted to see after being a vocal minority before, but The Last Jedi really is a step so far down from The Force Awakens that not even normies are tolerating it.
It's seriously dropped 2% in the past hour and a half since this thread was made. How low can it go?

What is so absurd about a mega corporation who's sole intent is to make money paying off/influencing critics so more people will go see their movie? there's nothing stopping them... Disney has banned critics who gave them negative reviews in the past from going to their early screenings, it's not a conspiracy theory.

>it's real
holy shit and it's not going to get better.

...

WE'RE REBELLING AGAINST THE CORPORATE MEDIA MACHINE

IT'S OVER FOR THE GLOBALISTS

WE'RE BREAKING THE CONDITIONING NYYAAAHHHHHHHH

Anyone else annoyed with Johnson's obsession with red?
>hoth planet has red underneath top layer
>posters and boxart is red
>red guards
>red throne room
>fucks up title making it the only star wars title in red

i sense a disturbance on the force.

I am absolutely shocked at the direction Disney has decided to take this franchise in and I want no part in it. I am confused and infuriated. My eyes are wide open as I write this, and I cannot believe that I am saying this, but my initial reaction is that the sanctity of Star Wars is dead. There is no longer meaning and conviction, no emotional weight to these films if this is the course they have set for themselves. I am astounded at the rehashed, half-baked, unsatisfying, superficial, nihilistic approach that was not only approved, but reinforced and marketed as something more than what it became. Now I understand Mark Hamill's reactions to the script at first read. What can I equate to more than what the film illustrates, which is a complete and total evisceration of a once treasured phenomenon.
Star Wars is no longer the most important film franchise.

IT'S CONFIRMED
Disney had caused a disturbance in the internet, the last bomb that will divided us once again in another great meme war

Is this goy serious?

It's a conveyor belt. It's McDonald's. And I hate it.
It abandons almost everything The Force Awakens set up. It abandons your emotions as an audience member, and instead decides to throw confetti and sparklers in your face in an attempt to dazzle you when in fact it is a directionless mishmash of ideas that have no satisfying conclusion, no remarkable payoff, and it decimates the very foundation of what Star Wars is at its essence--MODERN MYTHOLOGY.
This is a cheap serialization of what should be momentous watershed moments in people's lives. "I remember when I saw 'Star Wars' when I was 12." "I remember seeing The Force Awakens and thinking 'Star Wars is back!'" There is no purpose in this film, only the sobering reality that people are being coaxed into accepting fake truths about something that they love so that they keep the Star Wars machine cranking.
The Original Trilogy launched careers, it inspired artists, it became a shared human experience to know things about Star Wars. And even in the Prequels, which are so justly criticized, there is carried through its story a sense of myth and importance that was yearned for with each Episode. There is no care to where The Last Jedi takes its audience, how it gets there, or what emotional, intellectual, and philosophical beats it attempts to evoke and cement in its canon. And what makes this the most distressing is that there is so much wasted potential and sloppy execution on so many concepts, both visually and in the way it decides to tell its story.
All I learned from watching The Last Jedi is that this franchise is now in the hands of the Empire. And unlike Marvel's approach of respect and dedication to its well-earned mass audience, this utter disregard for reverence and emotional gravitas sees an end of an era for Star Wars as it exists in my life. Yet I refuse to believe that this clinical error in popular culture is a suggestion that, as worded by one character, "the spark is out."

Snoke's chamber was awesome tho. Fuck the writing tho

IN HONOUR OF THE SUPREME LEADER SNOKE WE SHALL SHOW OUR HATRED TOWARDS THE DISNEY SCUM WHO DID NOT DO HIM JUSTICE

HOLY SHIT

The day 1 fanboys and sock puppets are inflating the score.
When the weekend hits, don’t be surprised to see it go to the 50% mark

Its hilarious how these fucking faggot nigger kikes make no effort whatsoever to be honest.

It honestly deserves the backlash.
I saw it at a midnight release and enjoyed it (Just caught up in the spectacle an excitement about what was going to happen I guess). But as soon as I left the theater and realized what I just watched, I knew I hated it. There's no reason to rewatch this movie, it is not an entertaining movie. I don't want to see that black dude and the asian girl run around on that fucking casino planet for half an hour. I don't want to see them stay on the cruiser for an hour just sitting there. I don't care about an underdeveloped Rey staying with Luke in the middle of fucking nowhere. I don't want to see Carrie Fischer wake up from her cocaine OD in space and levitate back to the spaceship. I don't want to hear the quips again. I don't want to be stuck on that goddamn fucking spaceship for 2 hours slowly outrunning the bad guys. Why the fuck are Finn and Poe 2 different characters when neither of them get the screen time they deserve.
The Hux and Kylo both do a fantastic job with what little material and motivation they are given. I wanted to see more of them instead of those whiny fucking shitty rebels.
It's honestly just baffling.
