Tommy is a genius.
I didn't realise Tommys background on the roof was green screen first time i saw it
>Cloudy environment vs sunny environment
>Standard definition vs high definition
A moderately skilled editor should have been able to fix the bottom image.
>I didn't realise Tommys background on the roof was green screen first time i saw it
Same here and neither did a friend. Tommy is a legend
Haha what a story Mark!
Anything for my princess
It's too expensive to film in New York, plus marvel has a hard on for Atlanta
Not to mention that anyone who isn't Tommy Wiseau could've done that with a much smaller budget.
Is it for BBC worship?
this is a very common problem in green screen nowadays, in order to make the scene convincing they use "matte chocker" and "matte light" badly. you can spot this error in many modern movies
>175 million $
>100 million coke and hookers etc.
>50 million Rhobbit Downhere jr salary
>5 million Rhobbits lifts
>15 million for the executives
>5 million actual budget
also, to correct this green screen render problem you need to film the actor in a natural light that correspond to the cgi background instead or trying to do the matte color correction in post production.
The Room is shot on 35mm film (and HD tape at the same time) and scanned in 4K
Spider-Man Homecoming is shot on 2.8K and mastered in 2K
The Room was a more engaging film than Spider-Man: Homos Cumming.
What the fuck? Is digital still not recording in 4K yet? What's their excuse in filming in 2K?
I didn't either, but in all fairness I never would've looked for it either. The idea never crossed my mind.
They shot Guardians Vol 2 in 6K. But then they mastered the film in 2K.
Bravo Marvel
So a 4K version of GoTG2 is out of the question?
No, they'll just upscale it, retards who like that film won't notice the difference anyway.
>No, they'll just upscale it
Oh God no
>The Room is shot on 35mm film (and HD tape at the same time)
Still makes me laugh
>passion for filmmaking
>profit margins
They upscale it with HDR for the colors
Wouldn't it make more sense to downscale from the original 6K footage or am I retarded?
>Comparing the works of an auteur like Wiseau to mass-produced capeshit slop
that cover hurts my eyes
No it would but they took the 6K footage and scaled it down to 2K for the Master (final color correction and CGI) so they have to upscale it.
So fucking retarded holy shit. This is why digital is a mistake.
Bavaria is in Germany
