It's weird that I just realized how much I like Ellis comics.

...

He's a big part of what made comics what they are today.

...

...

...

Glad to see Grifter's still cool as fuck.

...

...

Ah, Brooklyn. Home of the best shitty coffee shops and bars for young folk in New York.

Holy crap, Wildstorm's out this week too? This week is packed. Have a bump, OP.

...

Guest starring Rosario Dawson.

>Why do you all try to make jokes?

...

...

Thanks OP, gotta wait till Sunday to read the issue. Have a bump.

Ellis has such a great mind for pacing in these comics. I bet he'd make a pretty good director.

...

I love Pris so so much

One of the few runs I read illegally and then buy a phisical copy. This series is that good

...

This comic is just hitting ALL of my buttons. Spec ops shit, transhumanism, social commentary on technology.

Oh fuck. he's got the moves

oh hi jenny.

I didnt see you there.

Just missing the Authority/Stormwatch superhero stuff but that's coming.

hrm. drummer as well?

...

YUP THIS IS ELLIS ALRIGHT.

Lamplighter was the Green lantern of Bendix's Stormwatch. Justice league.

Meh. I liked the first two, but the action here was pretty underwhelming, and nothing really happened here that couldn't have been done as effectively in half the pages.

>First Appearance - StormWatch Vol 2 #4
>Appearance of Death - StormWatch Vol 2 #5
lol

I like where it's going, but I'm a bit confused. Is this a relaunch of the same universe that all the stormwatch stuff happened in? If so, I take it we won't be seeing any midnighter or apollo (but it's strange that grifter is here)

Yeah, it's a whole new universe. I think we will see Midnighter and friends but not till later on, because the whole thing is supposed to be a very, VERY slow burn.

>A wild CAT

I'm not even mad

Something that's been kinda nagging me since this issue, has Pris always been that tall? Like, damn.

lamplighter was just name dropped.

Would be hilarious if the main premise here is, "what if stormwatch vs aliens never happened."

But largely overall it just seems like a reboot/re-imaging.

well.. thats literally what it stood for.

Kinda like how Rebirth is calling a mulligan on the Nu52, The Wild Storm seems like it's calling backsies on the absolute clusterfuck the whole imprint had turned into in the last few years. Especially with the disastrously failed integration into the main DCU.

Good to see Jon Davis-Hunt continuing his gore

Bless you, user.

Doctors - Earths Shaman
Mars 1955?

all of her chairs are Kirks command chair

He's holding his guns sideways, that man isn't playing around.

I love this page.
