So what's the deal with Visual Novels? Weeaboo trash? I see some weeb-sounding people talk about how much they love that shit and how it's better than anime because of muh depth and muh choices, but I personally can't imagine spending 80 hours going through some of the popular ones. I even see anime based on VN's recommended like Steins;Gate or Clannad with the caveat that the VN is better and it makes me wonder how shitty an anime would have to be to be worse than a VN.
