Autism

Then this entire board is...

Why is the only thing that gets my dick hard non-consensual incestuous lesbian porn?

Some questions just don't have good answers, bro.

Why do adults watch reality TV which is explicitly geared towards fucking idiots? I'd rather watch the kids cartoon over an episode of "Bar Resuce" or "Duck Dynasty".

RUN! SAVE YOURSELF!

Serious answer
>Some people (way too many) do not excel socially and find solace in things that appeases their earliest ways of gaining enternatinment; cartoons. Some people also simply enjoy animation, like some prefer CGI or Live Action. It varies from person to person. But one thing that can be seen in every side is that cartoons/comics retell stories that we enjoy, whether it comes in the version of the love between, say, Gumball and Penny or the love between Romeo and Juliet.

Answer for your bait
>Because OP is a fag

The world's a pretty grim place these days. Escapist fantasy helps us cope. Plus, there are some well written and animated series these days. Not quite the He-Man garbage of yesteryear.

Why are you posting on Sup Forums if you dont watch cartoons or read comics?

If you're going to bait, please put some fucking effort into it.

It's an outsider who thinks throwing meat into a piranha lake is entertaining.

Or 'one of us' who thinks they're being clever by posting this.

Why does an adult waste his Friday night trying to make people who he's never met respond to him?

They aren't all made only for children.
Many have jokes that you only get if you're in your thirties.
Others have classic stories that are enjoyable when they're used in more adult media.
And some are surprisingly clever, adding to the charm when you weren't expecting much.
The thing is: they make them specifically so that parents can enjoy watching them with their kids.

The Teletubbies shit out there, yeah, only freaks enjoy that stuff that's made only to entertain idiot children, but those shows don't have human fanbases.

Wow what a nerd

why would an adult shoot a man before throwing them out of a plane?

Cause he's a big guy?

I quite literally don't know what else to watch.

I turned 18 a few months ago and every 'adult' show is formulaic crime shit and every teen drama is gay as fuck, my parents don't watch TV, all my friends my age also watch cartoons (and anime), and my older sisters all watch reality TV... so yeah, I don't know what people are supposed to watch at my age. I watch stuff like The Walking Dead and Hawaii Five O but aside from that it's either sports or cartoons.

...

But user, weird fetishes are easy to explain. The human brain gets bored quickly so we need weirder and increasingly convoluted shit to jack it to.

OP said adults.

I did wonder that about the Littlest Petshop threads that kept popping up here, but then i saw part of an episode and it's like the most depressed and cynical people in the world tried to make a little kid's show. Not surprised Sup Forums likes it.

Perhaps he's wondering why someone would start a thread for a bait question.

their parents didn't teach them better

Why do kids consume adult content?

I guess you could say the same thing for TV shows, user.

This is why you can't just rush in all at once with the fetish stuff.

You've got to make a controlled descent into degeneracy, otherwise god knows what you'll be into when you're old.

Funny enough, I find that watching children's cartoons is more socially acceptable now that I'm 21 than when I was say, 14 or 15.

In high school, everyone made a big show about how they were too old for cartoons or pokemon or any other kiddie shit, but in college everybody fucking loves pokemon and throw viewing parties for cartoons. It's super chill.

I think there's just less social pressure once everyone's not trying to look adult anymore. The concerns about "childish" stuff melted away as soon as I actually grew up I suppose.

This. When I got to college everyone stopped giving a fuck about hiding their power levels. I went from having no friends to having an entire club of friends in a week, so now I watch cartoons because it's a social thing.

But if I'm autism and you're autism, who's driving the board?

>as soon as I actually grew up
>He think it ever ends

Expansion Diaper Furry Guro Transformation Fetishism is at an all time high with the elderly these days.

>college students
>people who need an extra 4 year buffer between school and adulthood also openly cling to cartoons

hm I wonder why

I wouldn't know, because I only read Graphic Novels™.

No but seriously, the only comic I read that doesn't have the story of a decent novel is Injustice,
because of the ultimate sillyness and retardation you can make fun of. I only keep a lookout for cartoons to know what to put on when my nieces or nephews come over, so I'm not stuck watching some absolute shit that's boring as hell. I don't really get people who continually read capeshit or watch children's cartoons on their own.

Seriously dude? Netflix series are shit... well, they are good for 5 or six episodes and then the turn to shit. And who do you you think made you favourite shows? cool kids like you? Please man, be grateful there is more people sharing the things you like.

>I'm less autistic
I see.

...

>Injustice
Yeah, many DC haters love to read it. The problem is, then that comic sells well and DC haters get BTFO.

That's the only way to truly gauge things, user. The guy playing football professionally is less autistic than the guy playing football for fun, and they're both less autistic than the guy who goes to every game, who in turn is less autistic than the guy who has various "lucky" clothing articles and rituals he does for his team to win. And all of them are less autistic than the fantasy football league guys.

>that people who aren't fat like me are autistic too!
Sure, sure.

>muh company wars

Kill yourself, capeshitter.

Awww, the autist got mad again. Poor manbaby.

>I don't really get people who continually read capeshit or watch children's cartoons

Never thought of that. Them being autistic fedora-tippers make sense.

Being a manchild is fun.

>trade marks graphic novels
>reads Injustice ironically
>only researches cartoons for the children in his family
>pretends to not understand the motive to read comics or watch cartoons that arent super serious

This board must be a real fucking boring place for you.

You posted a Boys reaction image you daft cunt! I say this as a huge Ennis fan, you are a smug hypocrite with that.

Here's the thing: Cartoons aimed at kids are, at their core, meant to be sincere and mostly optimistic. They run the entire gamut of emotions to help kids experience and process those emotions, sure. But they are ultimately about making people feel good. In a media landscape ruled by assholes and cynicism and weaponised insincerity, a little sincere optimism - and even a little hope - is a welcome ray of sunshine admist the darkness. Why should I feel shame or guilt for feeling that way?

>Critics who treat "adult" as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.
— C.S. Lewis

>being a huge Ennis fan

>poorfag spotted

Hey man, you're the one with the arsenal of Boys reaction images

It's almost as if we're posting in a shitposting thread.

To be serious for a moment though, reaction images aren't endorsements. I've got Chick tract reaction images, but it doesn't mean I think Chick tracts are good beyond "holy shit this is the work of an insane man".

Because we are entertained by them, let me ask you a question. Why do adults judge other adults crap for their hobbies that don't affect other people.

If you just generally confused and not trying to be insulting it's all good they're just not for you. Most comics these days are geared to adults though

Unless you pick a really god major and get your ass in gear(about 20% of the studwnt body at most) youre jist going to have a fuckload of debt and no world experience besides the cash register

Did you try out anime? It'll help expand your taste without leaving the realm of animation

There are niggas out there putting eels in Japanese bitch's assholes and you got a problem with a mother fucker watching Spongebob? smdh familam.

I don't get it either, I also don't get why everyone here watches Steven Universe if they hate the show.

Let's post this picture again that was really prevalent on Sup Forums around 2011 for the reason you can easily imagine

There are DC haters?

>quoting an ultra-Catholic who hated H. G. Wells
Opinion discarded.

>smug cunt.jpg
I went for free, graduated summa cum laude, and got paid to go to grad school. I am ignorant and stupid trailer trash, but all you have to do study five hours or so a day and even physics isn't all that hard.

Hating SU is a meme, but also the show has fallen quite a bit.

Not all media needs to be moving or thought-provoking. Sometimes you just want to unwind with something that has a simple charm.

>I'd let my tastes be dictated by what I'm "supposed" to watch if only I knew what that was

It's more of a slow lull really.

To be cool

Fuck, I love Bar Rescue though. Duck Dynasty can die in a fire.

>college is for rich ppl
>expect all the people who get in "for free"
