I like the "dishonorable corrupt samurai warrior" one because he's a good representation of how most samurai actually were.

Suicide Jack actually evoked some very real feelings from me. His logic for wanting to die isn't unsound, even if it's still better to fight to the end in hopes that a new, uh, hope, will surface.

Nightmare Jack is really fun, though. Seeing him change all throughout his scene was such a stark, nutty contrast to the rest of the show.

I really how different they look based on his feelings and surroundings. I hope we see a couple more variations, and I REALLY hope the scene where Jack banishes it from his psyche has it cycle through all of them.

Suicide Jack had the most poignant scene. It's actually really jarring compared to the rest of the episodes how good Suicide Jack's scene was.

His entire dynasty has been wiped out and replaced by a different rulership. He hasn't been royalty since before he started his training.

I'd quantify them all as the same inner monologue/hallucination. The up shoot of all of them is basically "Sudoku Yourself My Main Man". They just take on different appearance based on Jack's current state of mind.
