Movies aren't special anymore. We'll watch them, but there's nothing really exciting to talk about or speculate over especially when there's more interesting comic news going on.
I mean right now you can probably assume Deadpool > New Mutants > Dark Phoenix quality-wise and some general assumptions about plot or tone, but does it really matter what specific actor is playing who?

I want to see the merry Mutants in the MCU. Sure the idea might seem now seem all-new. And the idea of Mutants in the MCU might seem uncanny. But the X-Men and MCU could benefit each other in a very xtreme way. It would make for an astonishing addition to the universe. They could make the most ultimate movies with some amazing moments. It would be an extraordinary moment in Superhero film history. Like Godzilla vs King Kong, combining the Y&X-factor of the two Cale genres could make a huge force to be reckoned with. Especially if you follow the equation of A+X(Avengers plus X-Men).The X-Men in the MCU forever would open the door to all kinds adventures. And usher an age of apocalypse to their competition.

Comic Warlock is more visually interesting than comic Groot. I am hopeful that comic Warlock's visual appeal can be translated to the big screen

I get the feeling that he's going to get glitched/pixelized. Give his voice a lot of computer reverb/static. I think Lock has a lot of passive movement with his body, so that should translate well with film.
Kinberg expressed interest in going to space. I honestly seems right up his alley and with Singer as producer. All those nukes being dumped into space, Singer is a big time Star Trek fan. Kinberg loves sci-fi space stuff too. It would be VERY star trek to have aliens notice apocalypse send nukes to space and go check out earth.
X-men 4 was absolutely supposed to incorporate space into it. I have no clue if this schlock will be any good, but it seems to be their aim.
Magnetos fuckery in Apocalypse might also draw a nearby science vessel to investigate. Imagine if the Enterprise was cruising around and detected massive and inexplicable magnetic shit happening in an otherwise stable system. Picard would be in there before the first commercial break
