The cartoon was always a shallow toy ad but I'm impressed by this comic.

The Filmation cartoon is just a small part of Masters of the Universe. The best part comes before and after that. Especially the comics pubblished from 2002 and afterwards, built a great and deep mythos around the franchise.

His daughter was kidnapped and taken away by his own brother.
His world was conquered by an extradimensional empire.
Life was hard for Randor that's certain.
