Why did Nolan stop making good movies?

Why did Nolan stop making good movies?

>memento
>good

yeah ok kid

Bait could be better, step it up.

>inception
>that good

the fuck is he doing? Holding a controller or washing a potato?

>prestige
>good
into the trash you go

>capeshits are Nolan's best
why did you forget to grow up?

>washing a potato?

its 2lbs of pussy and ass

prestige is arguably his best work, pleb

Dark Knight Rises over Interstellar?

Fuck off.

only good movies here are Prestige, TDK, and Inception is alright.

Memento is literally one of the most frustrating movies I've ever fucking watched. The constant looping of his memory pissed me off so much I didn't want to watch the movie. But I carried on for hopefully an amazing ending but nope, nothing. Shit movie.

Prestige > Dunkirk > BB > Memento > Inception > Following > TDK > TDKR

Fuck Interstellar

>the dark knight
>that reaction
It's good but it's only great because redditors are easily impressed. The dialogue and direction is extremely mediocre for a film of that caliber.

Dunkirk is his only good one so far. Despite the historical inaccuracies, it does a good job telling the story of several characters

>you will never be intellectual and cool enough to not like Interstellar

>Americucks don't like Dunkirk because it doesn't include America at all

Interstellar, Inception and Dark Knight Rises are the ones patricians prefer.

Dunkirk is Nolan's masterpiece.

>Literally everyone forgetting insomnia

Nolan never made good movies

This, and if it is a controller why is it backwards.

>responding with a mirrored reaction image

Memento & The Prestige are the only good.
others are reddit tier.

Following - 9/10
Memento - 8/10
Insomnia - 5/10
Batman Begins - 7/10
The Prestige - 10/10
The Dark Knight - 9/10
Inception - 8/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 2/10
Interstellar - 5/10
Dunkirk - 6/10

The Prestige is so fucking overrated

Which is the best cut of Memento? Is it the original reverse story or the recut chronological order?

the prestige sucks, its full of too many plot conveniences

Inception was fucking trash

I don't understand your rating system. Which ones are good and which ones are bad?

I would pull all their grades closer together. Nolan makes solid 8/10 movies, bad Nolan movies are 6 or 7. Nothing higher and not lower.

Dunkirk is both the best Nolan movie and the best movie of 2017.

Interstellar and dunkirk are probably his best, though

honestly, I don't think he ever started making good ones

Following - 8/10
Memento - 8/10
Insomnia - 8/10
Batman Begins - 7/10
The Prestige - 8/10
The Dark Knight - 8/10
Inception - 8/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 6/10
Interstellar - 6/10
Dunkirk - 7/10

Like this.

Dunkirk is his best film, certainly better than TDK/Inception,

You are a genuine pleb if you think Inception is two points away from being a "perfect movie" holy fucking shit

>he doesn't wash his potatoes

inception is worse than interstellar

>memento
Nolan's best

>inception
>dunkirk
>following
good

>interstellar
>insomnia
ok

>prestige
Nolan's worst

To discount his works. /m/ @ 5mil Thread Number.

Would be extremely painful.

What's wrong with Inception?

Didn't do enough with it's concept. The setting takes place in a dreamworld so it could of been like a weird, fucked up nightmare on elm streetish thing going for it, instead it sticks with very stock action sequences that you could have seen in any random by the numbers action flick. It's really underwhelming

im op and this list is reasonable. although personally I might put prestige at a 9/10 but just because I personally love it, but on an objective list an 8/10 is acceptable.

>dude twists lmao
it's cheap hackneyed schlock

youre told multiple times throughtout the movie. acts like that need a double.

michael cane told him at the beggining of the movie it was a double, which is why he just nods to the guy at the end wlaking across the street.

the hwole thing with the dead bird. it was a great movei

>Is it the one where the order of the scenes actually play into what it would be like to have a condition where you forget all of your recent memories and are often left without context or explanation in a new situation or the one where everything fits nicely together because dude turn your brain off lmao

wow I wonder

It was all downhill after Memento

He needs to ditch Hans Zimmer

Man, I know Inception isn't high art and has a ton of flaws but I love it for what it is, a great science fiction movie. It takes a cool concept and explores it in a very satisfying way.

Nothing.
The movie is good, just capeshiters trying to sound smart and snoob.

The film holds better than the rest before the twist.

agreed

>The Prestige - 10/10
Overrated garbage for kids desu

Memento is 8
Never seen Insomnia
Batman Begins is a 6
The Prestige is a 6
Dark Knight is a 5
TDKR is 3
Inception is 7
Interstellar is 4
Dunkirk is 7

Nolan is an okay director, but he is so overrated it hurts a patrician true film aesthether's mind

better than the prestige or inception for sure

Why does Sup Forums suddenly hate Interstellar now?

Inception is his worst by far. DUDE just hook up to this briefcase here so we can share dreams, LMAO. DUDE subconscious security LMAO

glad I'm not the only one who thought this sucked

batman begins and dunkirk suck too

His best movies are Memento, Interstellar and Prestige. His worst are Dunkirk and Inception. Batman is for antisocial turbo autists and manchildren who fantasize being a lawless psychopath vigilante and then go and shoot up cinemas packed full off people.

>Inception
>Good

god I fucking despise this redditor way of scoring things

>Dunkirk leaks
>Poorfags start shitposting about it it

Memento > The Prestige > Interstellar > Batman 2
> Inception > Batman

Batman Begins needs a higher score (it's a 8 or 9) and Inception needs a lower score tbhsenpai

Memento - 4/10
Insomnia - 7/10
Batman Begins - 6/10
The Prestige - 5/10
The Dark Knight - 7/10
Inception - 6/10
The Dark Knight Rises - 2/10
Interstellar - 3/10
Dunkirk - 8/10

>not liking interstellar
>remaining a small guy for TDKR
gr8 b8 m8

when did nolan ever make good movies?
why do Sup Forumsedditors ever come out of their containment board?

>inception gives you cumface
its so shitty movie. whoever reviewed this is retarded

I agree with most of yours, inception and dark knight are too high though.

Interstellar was really /comfy/ desu. The music was amazing, the visuals were stunning. Too bad that by the end the plot turned fucking retarded. Still, it was a pleasant watch.

The Dark Knight Rises - 10/10
The Dark Knight - 8/10
Batman Begins - 8/10
Dunkirk - 10/10
Interstellar - 8/10
Inception - 9/10
The Prestige - 8/10
Haven't seen the rest but this is the true patrician's ranking.

the first hour of "yeah.... it's all uh... dusty here.. man" is a pain to watch

Only patrician ranking ITT

>Why does Sup Forums suddenly hate Interstellar now?
DUDE LOVE IS LIKE.. MAGICAL, AMIRITE

>thinking momento was only ok

stopped reading there

It makes perfect sense within the context of the movie, and its quite touching actually. In Inception literally nothing makes sense. Literally. DUDE I've been trapped in this guy's subconscious for years LMAO

Dunkirk is his best film by quite a bit. The rest is practically fedorashit but I do have a soft spot for Interstellar.

It's been diluted by redditors. Interstellar is definitely one of his best.

He makes films when everybody else in Hollywood he's happy making movies.

But that just makes it better than average, it doesn't make him Kino.
