None of the matchups are required. There's 32 shows remaining, or 16 matchups.
Owen Anderson
We should really have money riding on this
Cooper Butler
Isn't that technically illegal though?
Jonathan Peterson
I don't think it's technically defined as gambling unless someone profits
Anthony Turner
How do you gamble with money without someone profiting?
Blake Jackson
who /teentitansalltheway/ here?
Joshua Reed
*raises hand*
Matthew Sanders
I mean the house profiting. Otherwise gambling is just exchanging money. But the house effectively 100% guaranteed makes money in any casino game, players don't, no matter how good they are
Noah Hill
he means like a bookie or a 'house'
Connor Diaz
Just you, faggot.
Although I'd be perfectly fine with it getting 2nd.
Ethan Murphy
DD vs. FOP is just getting ridiculous now.
Adrian Rivera
TT's is a good show, but I'd hardly call it the champion. Which speaking of, I think its only right that the winner gets a crown, so any drawfags lingering should participate
Levi Young
Some of you guys are alright. Don't go to school tomorrow if you voted for King of the Hill.
Jason Price
It could probably beat boondocks, though it will be somewhat close, but it's going to get creamed by Spongebob/KotH/OtGW, whatever wins that block.
Jackson Morales
OTGW still has a chance!
Andrew Carter
reporting in
let's do this
Daniel Gomez
Dude, it creamed Robot Chicken and Brave & Bold.
Josiah Bennett
D-did you mean "if you voted for Over the Garden Wall"?
I think things might have gotten confused due to meme format
Joseph Taylor
Not sure about the eventual winners, but I'd bet money on semi-finals being
>The Simpsons vs. Batman TAS and >Samurai Jack vs. Spongebob Squarepants
Jaxson Cook
Robot Chicken is hardly impressive, no one likes Robot Chicken here.
Brave and the Bold is more impressive, but you have to remember that a lot of the people who liked Brave and the Bold are the die-hard Teen Titans fans. In anycase the show has a decent amount of backlash on Sup Forums, and KotH/Spongebob/OtGW are all powerhouses in this.
Hudson Reyes
...fuck, I messed it up. I've been waiting to make that joke since last thread.
Liam Hernandez
Threadly reminder that voting Simpsons or Spongebob strictly on their golden age era is bullshit.
Jeremiah Cook
thanks for the heads up, faggot
Ethan Phillips
Golden age Simpsons is better than anything in this competition
Liam Gonzalez
I wouldn't say creamed
I think it'll be fairly close but TT will probably lose to one of those
Jackson Clark
Except Over the Garden Wall
Nathan Morales
Great writing, animation, characters, humor, pacing, soundtrack, and overall composition. What's not to like here?
Matthew Howard
Wow, Billy and Mandy beat Adventure Time, that's interesting, I guess B&M was way more consistent. Choosing between King of the Hill and Over the Garden Wall is gonna be tough...
Justin Baker
I dunno, The Simpsons has been losing ground to Batman Beyond, meanwhile AtLA has been strengthening it's edge over Ed, Edd, n Eddy, which was one of the biggest bets for winning. Rick and Morty and Futurama both have decent pull too, enough to give The Simpsons a run for their money.
I'd probably put it to AtLA vs Batman TAS.
Samurai Jack is definitely winning it's block, I'm really unsure on top right though. OtGW's been gaining momentum very steadily against KotH, and I think either could potentially take it to spongebob. They don't have nearly as much bad weighing them down.
Still, my predictions are Samurai Jack and AtLA for final two, Jack taking it.
Jackson Martin
Vote for the best cartoon ever!
Logan Wilson
>avatar is beating my fav
It was a good run I guess
Aaron Roberts
Can someone explain to me how Boondocks is doing so well? It's fucking crushing the waifu shit that took down Arthur AND Steven Universe.
Andrew Harris
Jack is NOT going to win against ATLA head-to-head. Anyone predicting this is insane.
Fuck it, Jack would probably lose to TT.
Grayson Jackson
>AT out to billy and mandy
Jaxson Cox
>Dexter v Venture Bros Hard choice... which one didn't turn to shit :^)
Grayson Campbell
consistency of quality, nostalgiafaggotry, current hype, results so far all favor Samurai Jack to win.
Leo Brown
>shit that took down Steven Universe >shit
Something's not right here, user.
Jason Green
>I guess B&M was way more consistent. Adventure Time is modern, but has gone on long enough to lose support and has generated a ton of backlash. If it ran at the same time as B&M I think it would have beaten it handily. As it is though, it didn't stand a chance. I'm actually really impressed that Star Vs has gotten as far as it has, that's the power of Waifu magic I guess.
Tyler Rodriguez
I want Teen Titans to make it pretty far. I'm not sure I could vote for it over OTGW but it looks like KotH might somehow beat that so who knows.
Blake White
Black Sup Forums is woke af
Carter White
>voting for Dexter's Lab Fucking why outside of misplaced nostalgia
Colton Rogers
Boondocks is popular on Sup Forums
Aaron Rivera
Because Tom's wife is ultimate waifu
Blake Flores
Yeah and it has a 25 year leg up on everything else, so the handicap of accounting the numerous shit seasons is fair
Wyatt Mitchell
Toms wife is a bitch and Tom deserves better
Justin Robinson
>I'm actually really impressed that Star Vs has gotten as far as it has, that's the power of Waifu magic I guess. Waifu magic can only be beaten with stronger waifu magic, hence SVTFOE is only losing now.
Cameron Gonzalez
FUCK ED, EDD & EDDY
Robert Powell
Sup Forums loves fake anime more than actual cartoons, they're a bunch of weebs in denial
Chase Jenkins
Is it just me, or does Star Wars Clone Wars appear twice on the chart?
Aiden Perry
They're two different cartoons. Star Wars: the Clone Wars and Star Wars: Clone Wars
Colton Collins
Clone Wars is Tartakovsky 2D show. The Clone Wars is 3D CG garbo
Liam King
How the fuck did FOP make it this far? It beat Daria, Bob's Burgers and now it's a coin flip with Duck Dodgers. Unbelievable.
Jaxson Bennett
I voted for Boondocks because MLaaTR is honestly a pretty bland cartoon. I get the appeal and love the artstyle but in terms of story it's pretty lackluster.
but i guess niggas > waifufags whooda thunk rite
Brody Torres
>Teen Titans got 71% vs Batman BatB, a show it largely shares a fanbase with >Samurai Jack got 84.2% against Young Justice, a highly praised show on Sup Forums without nearly as much backlash as Teen Titans >Samurai Jack has more nostalgia value, less backlash, and current season hype >thinking TT would have a chance
Dylan Walker
Anime's major advantage is writing quality (NOT art style, as many seem to think). It's really not surprising that the best cartoons draw inspiration from it.
Oliver Cooper
nostalgia is one hell of a drug
Leo Kelly
We're looking for some input Sup Forums.
For the semi finals (when it comes down to 4 cartoons), do you want us to make two separate threads for them to build hype?
Asher Rogers
It is rather upsetting. If it beats Duck Dodgers, Sup Forums is truthly more fucked than once thought
Justin Myers
Young Justice has serious flaws which TT lacks. Don't listen to the Sup Forumsntrarians.
Cameron Nguyen
>TCW loses to Harvey Birdman >which promptly loses to Star fucking Vs I just don't fucking GET IT
Owen Gray
Well obviously, but how can that be if there are rarely any threads about it?
Kevin Cruz
No longer a coin flip, DD is finally pulling ahead it seems.
Justin Turner
Dear god no
Aiden Jenkins
This isn't about what show is better, this is about what shows Sup Forums likes more, if shows won this based on quality, things would look hugely different, but here we are
Nathaniel Cooper
Fuck no
Ryder Martin
Oh fuck, Hey Arnold ahead of Clone Wars by 1 fucking vote.
Jaxon Martin
Birdman was ahead for a while, but it just couldn't maintain the lead.
Lincoln Gray
I dont fucking get how Megas, Spectacular Spider Man, The Tick, and Freakazoid get knocked off so early and FOP gets this far along with Rick and Morty
Colton Kelly
Not simultaneously
Jacob James
No, that would drag things out way too much and kill hype
James Morales
I should have clarified: flaws that deeply mar its enjoyment potential, which would otherwise be pretty fucking high.
Charles Butler
Over the Garden Wall is probably going to be out next round, we fought hard, but Sup Forums's taste had to overwhelm us eventually.
Chase Harris
because the contest is for "most popular Sup Forums cartoon", it has nothing to do with quality dropping in later seasons. think how many people recognize shit like dinkleberg, doug dimmadome, etc... does bobs bourgeois or diarrhea have anything like that? didnt think so
Cameron Gutierrez
It wouldn't of happened if one Harveyfag didn't get all cocky while in the lead, which prompted some butthurt starfag to rally the troops over at the not!General and bump star to victory
Adam Phillips
So why tf does Star Wars get two shows with special attention paid to their names while Transformers gets a vaguely titled "Transformers"?
Grayson White
And Rick & Morty is beating Regular Show
Ian Nelson
>but Sup Forums's lack of taste had to overwhelm us eventually
FTFY
Ryder Anderson
>bobs bourgeois or diarrhea I have to admit, I seriously kek'd at this.
Joseph Parker
This I can actually live with, fuck Regular Show
Christopher Ramirez
Maybe more anons would've voted for it if it wasn't so forgettable.
Owen Phillips
I'm talking about OTGW losing, it's implicit.
Easton Price
Both are shit, so I'm not sure how to feel about this
Daniel Foster
That's just the nature of this kind of randomized tournament. If Sup Forums was asked to rate these shows on a scale I doubt FOP would compare to most of these cartoons. It was always more 'enjoyable' than out-n-out 'good'.
Jack Long
Megas and Spider-Man are shockers yeah, chock that up to the poll not reach as many people when it first started I guess. The Tick and Freakazoid both went up against two massive powerhouses though in The Simpsons and Batman TAS, it's to be expected, that's just how tournaments work.
There are still some that mystify me though, like Star Wars TCW losing to Harvey Beaks or Tron Uprising losing to Star Vs.
Alexander Harris
Scooby Doo also had multiple specific shows, whilst Ben 10 got stuck with just "Ben 10".
Liam Collins
Which looses to Teen Waifus, which will loose to Reddit & Memey. The circle is complete.
Isaiah Myers
>this faggot whining about FOP winning in every single thread
I don't seriously understand why that one particular show gets so much hate. It's probably the second or third most iconic Nicktoon. You're autistically screeching over a fun contest and acting like its something truly surprising like Doug or Catdog beating Avatar.
Noah Hill
Be honest, how many of you logged into multiple accounts to vote more than once?
Brayden Barnes
But FOP is nearly even with DD, which is a nearly flawless show even if it's not to one's personal taste. I think you're underestimating it greatly.
Samuel Campbell
What's surprising about it is this:
Parker Wood
Because FOP is legitimately an annoying show that was only good early on. It even competing with Duck Dodgers is kind of baffling
Christopher Campbell
Most likely. I also thought Billy & Mandy was gonna get knocked out in the 1st round, and it's already taken out Megas, Adventure Time, and is on its way to beating South Park.
Kayden King
Because both of those shows are very good and very popular on Sup Forums
Transformers generally isn't that popular on Sup Forums, and it's best bet is to be grouped into one show. Dividing it up would only weaken the individual shows. People who like beast wars don't necesarily like say Prime, or TAS, or the original series, and wouldn't vote for them, but under the blanket label of "Transformers" people who like any of those shows might vote for it.
Ben 10 has had some degree of continuity throughout the shows, but even if it was just assumed to be the first show, it would do about as well. Omniverse is the only series that is up there with the original in terms of popularity, and I'd say they're roughly equal.
With Scooby-Doo, there's far more series over a greater span of time like transformers, and dividing it up potentially hurt it. With that being said, What's New is an odd choice, it's one of the less popular series. A Pup Named is more popular on Sup Forums. In either case Mystery Inc was the best bet for a Scooby Doo who getting far, and it was unfortunate enough to be paired with Boondocks in it's first bracket.
Chase Rivera
Because FOP isn't that good, and has been trash for a long time.
Jacob Martin
Star Vs has grown popular and the mods aren't doing anything about the constant generals it has. Basically, a bunch of outsiders who have probably never heard of Tron uprising voted for Star since that's all they're here for.
Star Vs definitely isn't a bad show, but Uprising should have won that.
Adam Campbell
I MIGHT be persuaded on the other two, I suppose, but I simply cannot understand how anyone could vote for it over Megas.
Robert Russell
It's a popularity contest, not a quality competition, nothing more. >I don't like it so it isn't good Not an argument.
Daniel James
It's hilarious to see the ultimate waifu show beating SVTFOE at its own game, though. I'm loving every minute of this!
Grayson Anderson
FOP is widely considered a bad show though on Sup Forums, and it's widely considered baffling that it's lasted as long as it has, a testament to Nick's obscene lack of quality programming over the past decade and a half.
It's not so much obsetting that it's gotten so far, but mind boggling, Sup Forums's generally been outspoken about FOP having started mediocre and forgettable and only gotten worse, and it's upsetting for the shows that have been magically defeated by FOP via meme magic.
Blake Collins
Tron Uprising, Star vs and Birdman are all shit shows that shouldn't have been nominated in the first place.
