>"B-BUT MUH EWOKS WAAAAAAH"

It's the best film in the series admit it.

It has the two best characters in the series Jabba and the Emperor.

It's great, I just watched it on TNT last Sunday

It's the most fun film to watch when you're a kid.

Prove me wrong. You can't.

I like Sith and Empire more than Jedi but still great

Return of the Jedi is the best Star Wars film.

I always found it the most boring next to Phantom Menace as a kid. I think it's because of the long stretches of nothing at Jabba's Palace and Endor. I never really liked Yoda's death in the film either.

To bad the ending no longer matters and the galaxy is back to square one after 30 years.

I still prefer Empire, but Jedi is easily my second favourite for everything OP mentions. I have never understood why peoplw ahit all over it and seem to think Ewoks are so terrible. Sure they were made for marketing and toys, but within the film they aren't super intrusive.

fucking Disney

>>"B-BUT MUH EWOKS WAAAAAAH"
Had they filmed wookies instead of ewoks, like was in original script, it would have been the best SW movie ever.

Best space battle in any Star Wars movie and the Vader/Luke fight is amazing. The rest is okay, my least favorite of the OT for sure.

It's so bland. TPM is way better

The final space battle with that tunnel sequence still gives me goosebumps. You got people fighting man-eating teddy bears on the moon, Luke in Palpy's bedroom, Lando and penishead in the Falcon, Ackbar yelling on the bridge- and somehow it all works with resonant tension build up and all the plotlines coming to one huge explosive finale. Phantom Menace's final battle was a clusterfuck in comparison.

This movie isn't bad, people like to say that it's bad because of the Ewoks but there's so many high points in this movie its not even funny. This movie is still, to me, probably the worst of the original trilogy, but it's still pretty good my dude. The Ewoks are a big problem, and so is the fact that they did the Death Star AGAIN.

>empire invades my commie jungle society
>pick up rocks and sticks
>It aint me starts playing
How could you hate Ewoks?

Do you ever wonder if it was really awkward for the Rebels at the end, partying with Ewoks while they ate roasted human and used their remains as xylophones?

And then snuck out of there in the morning before the Death Star debris started a planetary holocaust?

the only problem with the movie is that you could see george wanting to make more money out of merch, ruining some aspects of it.

>but within the film they aren't super intrusive
I guarantee you they take up half the runtime

The biggest problem is many of the characters are unnecessary and there's nothing really thought-provoking in it, most of it is straight up entertainment value and merchandise advertisement

>B-BUT MUH LIGHTSPEED BULLET DOESN'T MAKE SENSE WAAAAAAA

It's the best flim in the series admit it.

*replace with any other shitty film you grew up with and will forgive any shitty fucking goofy hack thing because of nostalgia

i love the film, but the plan to save han was beyond retarder and depended on many accidents to happen.

The throne room scenes are the best scenes in the entire franchise.
The rest of the movie is just underwhelming in comparison to ANH and ESB
