What's the End of Evangelion of film?

What's the End of Evangelion of film?

star wars, this is a star wars thread now, nobody is allowed to talk about anything else in this shit board

I like how the LoGH thread was deleted for being anime even though there's no rule against anime and even though mods did nothing when nearly the entire board was Star Wars spam.

There's an unwritten rule about anime threads on Sup Forums that's ancient but that one was somewhat alright since it related to non-anime space operas, as this one relates to film.

As for OP's question, the EoE of film is EoE because it's a film. If you want it to compare to live action, it doesn't very well because it's the finale to a 26 episode series.

End of Evangelion

Red Spectacles.

Oh it's that incomprehensible movie where Shinji masturbates over Asuka's corpse and the credits roll in the middle of the fucking film.

will this spam thread be babysat once again?

>incomprehensible

The last one was deleted, and if you want to talk about spam then that would be Star Wars.

>incomprehensible
low IQ

>incomprehensible
Brainlet alert.

Go ahead and explain the live action scenes in that movie. Go right ahead.

To help connect the experiences of the characters to the audience and the real world, to show the audience that the phenomenology portrayed applies to them. Pretty obviously, too. I mean there are literally shots of a theater. How dumb are you?

2001 A Space Odyssey

End of Evangelion, tbqh.

except for twin peaks

Twin Peaks FWWM

The Tree of Life
>masterpiece
>pure honest film making
>plebs think it's deep and pretentious despite being extreme straight forward
>has top tier momfu
>the average Sup Forums user can relate heavily

this desu

>the credits roll in the middle of the fucking film
There is literally nothing wrong with that
It allows for a cold opening and a clean, final "The End" at the very end
