Storytime: DC Comics Presents #47: Superman & The Masters of the Universe

The 1st crossover between Superman and He-Man.

Some info about this historic issue:
It's the introduction of Prince Adam as He-Man's alter ego. Of course the transformation is not the same with the later appearances. Adam in perhaps one of the most interesting takes of the character, he is basically "He-Man in disguise". He possess super human strength, he is a drinker and a bar brawler, a barbarian prince.

Superman will meet Skeletor, for the 1st time and he will be defeated, with Skelly exposing his weakness in magic. 30 years later in the 2nd crossover Supes (Superbro in this case) will be defeated once again by Skeletor.

He-Man still has his Ax here, his very first weapon. Until the cartoon came out He-Man possessed only the one half of the Power Sword. The other half was at Skeletor's hands, as it was shown previously.

There was also another brief appearance of Superman, in the special DC preview for their 1982 Masters of the Universe mini series.

And here Superman returns to Eternia.

That's impossible.
How could he do that without taking off the weights?

...

Only that this time almost ended really bad for Superman. Skeletor was ready to finish him off, if He-Man didn't arrive in time.

...

And that's it.

>Release this traveler with excess of clothes

The Eternians are cosmic barbarians. Different civilization, different culture.

Even if, the contrast between the covered from the foot until the neck Superman and the eternians that barely wear anything is funny to see.
