Thoughts on Anya's Ghost?

Thoughts on Anya's Ghost?

A masterpiece

A good story. A nice horror without being overtly horror.

Read it back in high school. It was pretty good.

Was this the one that was basically one big long metaphor for peer pressure and smoking

Because that's all I can remember

Oh, and weren't they Russians?

It's a nice short & sweet little thing, has a conventional but compelling story and has a few touches that give it a little more originality and appeal.
The author was a storyboard artist at LAIKA, it could make a good movie by them someday.
That's why she hadn't written more books, but she's focusing back on them now since Anya's Ghost ended up being enduring and sold well. Her newest, which is a children's picture book, got a Caldicott Honor.
Hope she does more graphic novels

the ghost did nothing wrong

Her fridge body made my dick sad.

Russian immigrants yes. Though the daughter was embarrassed by this FOB boy who was trying to befriend her because she just wanted to fit in.

Is good.

i've wanted siobhan and anya to be girlfriends for six years now

anybody got a link?

Yes

I read it a few years back because i was going through all the visual novels at my local library.
it's an actual phsyical visual novel, not a web comic.

The dead chick was a qt

>Anya and Siobhan
>not Anya and Dima

Ive never read it.
My sister did.
From what i remember, she quite liked it.

its ok.

best book of 2011
would borrowagain

cute as fuck untill she turned into a massive bitchy bimbo

>implying that wasn't the cutest part

yandere ghost girl is best ghost girl

I still like her short hair better though

Anya is a tip-top tier waifu.

I need more Anya books, where the fuck are they?

Anya's Ghost is a standalone. She's a one-shot waifu.

Is this book worth reading or is it tumblr shit?

>Sup Forumsmblr likes it
What do you think, user?

Damn, what a shame. The art style looks nice.

You're being baited, it's not Tumblr at all, the main girl is just THICC

Well if it's thicc and not fat, then fine,I guess I'll give it a read. I just hope there's no bullshit SJW agenda being pushed in it.

I half-expected some kind of /ss/pooky moment.

Well there's some feminist undertones that might put you off

user, sometimes you need to read/watch stuff and form an opinion of your own.

I wanna read it

Something about a girl in a necktie is super adorable

Fuck, Anya is built like a brick house. I feel like we need to keep her picture handy for the threads where everyone argues about what thicc is.

what does he love?

also,

>low fat food
>making you lose weight

kek

Potato pancakes, I think? Probably fried in lots of oil.

How does this get shilled so much and for such a long period of time?

its accessibility? inoffensive art style?

I really liked it. Hated Anya at first, but as it went on I realized she wasn't meant to be likable. She's a troubled, flawed girl that needed to discover who she really was over time, and I loved that. She was an actual character.

And as predictable as it is in retrospect I really wasn't expecting the twist that the ghost girl was actually crazy. I let out an audible "oh fuck" the moment it hit me. That's when it really got good.
