>You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun, Kal. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.
How would Marvel handle this scene?

Watch thor. Its the same movie. Action will be not as good, but there were similarities between Zod and Loki
Matthew Watson
With fucking Porgs hopping around and black Jimmy Olsen chanting"Go Supah! It's ya birfday!" in the background.
In other words, fucking poorly.
Hunter King
>JOR-EL: You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. >[cut to CLARK scratching his ASS] >CLARK: Man, this thing is giving me a wedgie. Did you have to make it so tight? >JOR-EL: Y-yes, well . . . as I was saying, they will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you-- >[CLARK interrupts JOR-EL by letting loose a loud, wet-sounding FART] >CLARK: [waving his hand, as if to fan the stench away] Phew, sorry about that, I stopped for shawarma on the way here and it's really making my poopie smell. I think I get the picture, though -- I'm better than all the humans. Thanks, space-dad! >[CLARK breaks through the side of the ship and flies away as "Jump" by Van Halen begins to play]
Aaron Anderson
After he says "you will help them accomplish wonders", Superman would let out a huge belch, the dramatic music stops and he would quip "you mean huge wonders like that?"

>You will give the people of Earth an ideal to strive towards. >Like Beyonce?
Brayden Kelly
How is he an ideal to strive for exactly? The only things that make him different from a normal human being is that he has the strength of a million men, can fly, and shoots lasers from his eyes. How can humans strive to have any of those attributes? How is he inspirational?
I guess you could say he’s inspirational in that he’s a law-abiding person despite the fact that he’s so immensely powerful (ring of Gyges). But Jor El didn’t know that he wouldn’t just be an asshole who lords over humanity, so it makes no sense.
Anthony Foster
What was wrong with MoS? Yup it had flaws, but it was Decent Box Office for 1st movie in rebooted universe, much bigger than Batman Begins and Iron Man (even considerin inflation). Just make MoS part 2 and Batman movie with Affleck, and then you got yours DCEU. What went wrong?
Eli Fisher
WB was greedy and pressed the fast button instead of letting Snyder make MoS2 with the Batman cameo. BvS would have been completely different, but likely still would have been high quality.
