1984 for philistines

fucking DC and their shitty comics

Someone explain antifa to me, and why Sup Forums hates them. They seem to be full of themselves contrarian faggots to begin with

Someone didn't read the comic.

They believe that we we live in fascism and wish to either A) dismantle society into becoming an anarchy. Or B) force Trump to resign.

Their primary method to this are riots whenever someone is speaking in favor of current administration. Often times in these riots they use explosives and assault who they deem to be Nazis.

As for why Sup Forums hates them, usually when two extremes meet each other there is hatred between the two groups.

I like the story but it entitled so many idiots....the same goes for Ledger's Joker.

You really shouldn't ask about an organization on a site whose content is controlled by people who work for the organization's opposition.

Someone didn't read the comic.

>blah blah blah stop not liking what I like

I think you're responding to the wrong person

Organization implies it's organized. There is no leadership when it comes to Anti-Fa as it was founded by Anarchists.

Also, there isn't really an active attempt to shut them down, most hatred has come from within the group themselves as the average person loathes violence.

Also he's not even a mod anymore.

A sad story about how a really great graphic novel and a pretty ok movie created a generation of IRL Try-hards.

That said I love the novel and the movie adaptation of V.

>Often times in these riots they use explosives and assault who they deem to be Nazis.

Lol sure thing pal.

To be fair, the explosives they're using are M-80s. Dangerous to be sure, but we don't want people going around thinking they've got dynamite.

Of course they also use more than fire works. One of them even busted a guy's head with a bike lock.

They're not as cool as they sound. They could learn a lot from the IRA.

Yes, I probably should have been more specific. Still, definately uncalled for.

That's literally what they do though. Openly too, they boast about it.

Don't know what Antifa has to do with V for Vendetta, but to sum them up, they're basically Left leaning Anarchists that don't like anything from the right wing. From your basic conservative to local neighborhood Neo-Nazi. I think some folks exaggerate what they do. Basically they're the ones that like to try to start a fight with any right wingers, even if it means distrupting a peaceful demonstration by leftist that aren't violent, Antifa might be there to turn it violent because they want to hit and punch. They don't use bombs as their arsenal, just black hoodies, red and black flags, and their fists. They're pretty intolerant and don't care for anything that isn't explicitly hard left leaning, they're practically Communists almost.

Bottom Line, they're trouble for everyone.

antifa are people who fight Nazi's, Sup Forums hates them because they don't like it when people fight back.

Alright fine OP I got a good chuckle
Here's a (You)
Happy?

Antifa refers to a specific kind of anti-fascist activism characterized by direct confrontation. While typically described as anarchist, there are many socialist and communist antifa organizations. Generally speaking they're derided for having a definition of fascism that is basically, "does no agree with me," being needlessly confrontational and aggressive, and unfocused use of violence. They also tend to focus their efforts in areas where far-right and fascist ideologies are minuscule and marginalized with little actual political power and or capacity for violence.

Someone failed to actually pay attention to what was written in the comic. V makes it very clear that the anarchy at the end of the book "the land of do as you please" is a transitional state, and that some form of organization is needed before everyone begins to starve. It also makes no promise that what comes next will necessarily be better than what came before.

Firecrackers and smoke bombs.
