Only because Asami is a non-character and Korra has as poor taste in women as she does in men.

it hurts that a better thread died for your garbage shipping thread

...

No. I can at least masturbate to this.

It hurts that it could've been a sweet developed relationship, instead of a single scene.

merely salt in the wound
The entire series hurt more

>instead of a single scene.
which was barely a hint to a dyke relationship.
do people really NEVER hold hands with others unless there is romantic intent?

It just unimpresses me, really. Korrasami is like the White Castle of yuri ships.

Yeah I feel like Korra's disappointed parent whenever I see Korrasami.

To be fair that was probably the only visibly romantic gesture Bryke was allowed to do.

>This hurts you

ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

Fuck off Harbinger you stupid Reaper fuck. You couldn't even beat one fucking spectre.

>Implying the failed relationship was Makos fault

Korra was a needy girlfriend. Constantly seeking validation, despite what she was doing being objectively wrong.

>Ugh, why do I have to listen to Tenzen?
>Oh shit, I didn't listen to Tenzen and now the world is ending, please help me.

But I never bothered watching past the first season so I don't give a shit or understand how this came to be

Korra didn't know what the hell she wanted at the time, that was the problem. When Mako tried to support her she rebuffed him, when he tried to speak out about how erratic she was acting she got mad.

Dating an Avatar can't be easy. Dating an Avatar with issues like Korra's who also happens to be a teenager is like dating a magical cat that can also punch you.

Neither do the people who watched the whole thing. They sort of just end with each other, because we gotta end on some kind of relationship, like it's obligatory or something.

It's like when JK came out after Harry Potter concluded and said Dumbledore was gay. Didn't make any difference to the story, we never explore that aspect of his character, we never have any impact from it. But there it is, right at the end, like it's supposed to be I guess is the thinking.

My own personal opinion is that bryke wanted it so the fans would make more yuri smut for them to jerk it to.

>It's like when JK came out after Harry Potter concluded and said Dumbledore was gay.
seriously? gotta get those progressive points somehow I guess.

...

I find it more unnecessary than upsetting. Hurr durr subtle clues and subtext aside, their relationship really comes out of nowhere and adds absolutely nothing to the series. But at least there's tons of porn of it to jack it to, so yay for that I guess.

It hurts my penis because it's too erect.

Yes it does. It was an awful idea with an even worse execution. The fact that they're rewriting the actual story of the show to accomodate this in the comics just shows how poorly thoughout the whole thing is.

If they decided to have Korrasami be canon at the end of Season 3, why did they think it was a good idea to give Asami about half a minute of screentime for the first half of the next season?

It hurts me.
It hurts me because I am alone.
It hurts me becaue Asami isn't a person. She 's a prop.
A prop is worthy of affection and I am not.

Really makes you think.

>This hurts you
It's not my waifu

Do we have scans of the spiritual world yuri adventures ? Is it even out ?

I happen to agree 200%

>You have to be blind not to see it.

?

Korra sucked why would I care about the end game they obviously did as a publicity stunt?

Bravo Korra writers, bravo. It's still a shitty series.

I am actually thankful because since that ending, KorraAsami porn flooded the internet.

Most of it was made before the ending though.

This

Korra is the first bisexual woman of color lead on a Nick cartoon. So thats something.

The show was really horrible and they needed a neat little romance to tie up the end and Mako/Korra already got ran into the ground with horrible drama. Its not that well established but whatever.

>Korra didn't know what the hell she wanted at the time, that was the problem.

Imagine a young woman who almost literally has to bear the weight of the world not knowing what she wants.

Why is it a publicity stunt? Because they're gay?

Having the a bisexual woman of color lead on Nick cartoon did get a TON of publicity especially among quasi-left types. And of course, it had pretty much no bearing on the show or on the plot (though it may in the future with the comics).

So yeah, if its not a publicity stunt it works the exact same as a publicity stunt would.

"I KNOW YOU WILL FEEL THIS"

basically this.

I didn't mean it to sound like I found it offensive, I don't give a shit about gays, it was just obviously a thing they pulled last minute to get attention.

Not in the least. I'm a total sap for LGBT relationships.

>bait thread
>still alive

Sup Forums predictable as always, but at least the show was good towards the end.

>i found it offensive

holy fuck, how much of a beta cuck someone can be hahaha

You're getting offended over something gay yet you're on one of the gayest boards on Sup Forums.

>that one time she lost her temper and destroyed the airbending artifact and then insulted and yelled at Tenzin in front of his kids
>youtube.com/watch?v=SohkMovvxHI

she was such a massive piece of shit

right? this board is populated with ppl who say things like "traps aren't gay"

>there's nothing wrong with me!

That's it, that's the show.

Tenzin was a saint for putting up with her.

>when she tells Asami that she was the only one that was there to listen and take care of her

I would love to see a fanfic about Tenzin teaching Aang. Or how Aang would have handled the events in the show.

Without the whole "I was the last avatar" thing

Despite of the shitty writting I think Korra deserved better, she barely hangs around with Asami, so when she ended up with her it was surreal, like, really? She barely a secondary character, and it's endgame?

Like come on they could've fleshed out her character a little before going to full lesbian route, even as a Yurifag I know there's more to lesbians than being lesbians.

Bryke writing 101.

>after korra leaves asami goes to Korra's memorial to clear her head every time she gets sad.

That's pathetic. By that 'logic' you could never have a colored homosexual in any show for fear dipshits would cry "publicity stunt".

>it was just obviously a thing they pulled last minute to get attention.

Watch the show again, dipshit.

Kinda nice, to not have a Mary Sue, isn't it?

I just don't want to see Korra happy. Much more interesting when she isn't.

Having a flawed character is fine.

Having a flawed character that no one calls them on their flaws or being a general shitty person is bad writing.

I mean for fucks sake Tenzin ends up apologizing to her!

man this is one retarded thread

>Having a flawed character that no one calls them on their flaws or being a general shitty person is bad writing.

man this takes me back...

Korrasami is the ship equivalent to eating a slice of white bread: it's bland but not offensive, and some people have violent reactions to it and shit their pants.

>That's pathetic. By that 'logic' you could never have a colored homosexual in any show for fear dipshits would cry "publicity stunt".

Uh, no, I am sure you could. You just need to build it up, not use it for cheap publicity at the very end of your series and then nothing. That's what makes it a "publicity stunt".

Also Korra is bisexual stop bisexual erasure you fuck.

>nickelodeon kicked them out of schedule
>literally killed any chance of a sequel or a sucessor of the original series
>forgotten in the darkness and nobody talk about it anymore

not even mad on shitty dykes since the madmens litterally did a kamikamize on nick and killed their career but make nick and shippers and fans equally asshurt they have my respect at least on that

Honestly I doubt korra can hold down a relationship without causing shit after that stuff she pulled with Mako.

Not out yet.

....yeah

Yeah, that's about right

Aang knew what he wanted and he was 12 what was Korra excuse again?

mainweb-v.musc.edu/vawprevention/lesbianrx/factsheet.shtml

>By that 'logic' you could never have a colored homosexual in any show for fear dipshits would cry "publicity stunt"

9 out of 10 times it would

>Watch the show again, dipshit.

it absolutely was a last-minute decision

>Kinda nice, to not have a Mary Sue, isn't it?

not if you replace it with a character that is equally as shit

Mako's dick is cursed to make chicks into lesbians.

How could one be Bolin, and not constantly tease Mako about this literally any and every chance you got?

By not being a cunt?

Did Aang know what he wanted? He always seemed kinda troubled. He did what he had to do, which was often at odds with what he wanted. He was raised in a very disciplined environment though.

Yeah, Korra and Asami probably break up in half a year

Looks like you don't understand the bonding benefits of banter.

Look, something that needs er happened in the show

>Implying they could break up at this point without Bryke bring called homophobic

Nope. They're carpet munchers for life. They're going to completely gloss over any flaws that could possibly be there, just like every other comic lesbian couple.

>this hurts you
Are you kidding me ? What is this poor bait ?
Korrasami Rule 34 was the only good thing that came out of the show

well it's fun to contemplate what the reaction would have been to this if they were a straight coupleā€¦

as in nobody would give a fuck and it'd be forgotten as just a last minute get together.

But of course since they're two girls it automatically is worthy of attention and praise because of how thirsty and desperate fans are.

Best ship

yes, my balls are exploding
