Out of Placers Page #49

New Out Of Placers, Get in here.

why is he updating so often now

Because it's his job kinda. $10000/year is nothing to turn your nose up at when you have an art degree.

Speaking of which, here's his patreon if youre interested. www.patreon.com/valsalia

And if you wanna support without paying money, you can vote daily per IP on TWC topwebcomics.com/?searchterm=valsalia

he's going to try and marry Kass isn't he
I would donate if I had any money so i'll stick with voting daily

so he can start drawing porn of his characters

Aaand here's the /trash/ thread
For, you know, when this and all other OOPs threads get nuked

Veracoix is gonna marry Kass, isn't he? As part of his 'acquiring knowledge' schtick

Different species cant produce viable offspring, so nope

I think he literally just has a hawt human bride on the way

>He has a bride to be that no one has seen
>He just needs time
>The plot is about a man who turned into a female of a different species

He's either gonna marry the Matriarch or there's a dude he's gonna transform

he can already hear the wedding bells

>Turning viz into a human

He has to be stopped.

>Turning viz into a human
probably this

No, no way he's talking about Kass.

I wouldn't be surprised if the lady he's talking about gets introduced sometime within this current story arc.

I'm more curious about what this child cannibalism thing he's talking about is.
Is that like some bathing in blood shit?

From Val's comments on the official site, since people there thought of Kass immediately too:

"Oh boy, the theories have already begun faster and harder than I was anticipating."

"In all seriousness though, he’s been with his lady for much longer than Kass has been a ying."

good thing that got nipped in the bud

Just in case you fell for the "Pragmatic and Accepting Capitalist Utopia" a little too hard.

Yeah, the idea that he'd marry Kass is kind of insane. Even if it were a yinglet, there would need to be some bullshit for him to be able to make an heir.

I'm well aware of that.

I curious about the history there. You know, like how Countess Elizabeth Báthory de Ecsed killed a shit load of people so she could bath in the blood of virgins thinking it'd keep her young?

I'm just wondering what the "nobility logic" here is.

...

I had the same thought actually. I guess it's nothing though.

This is great

Now all we need is Lopin hitting on Isher for maximum awkwardness

Are you implying Lopin is some kind of hoo-er?

Say that to to my face not online see what happens

Sorry bro, his entire race is major slutweasels, its in his genes

and on top of that he wears literal invitations to "come and get it"

Its time to face the music, plus

>implying the looseness isnt his appeal in the first place

>slutweasels
I like how we're still giving them new race names.

I'm guessing its just "he was inbred and crazy or w/e lol" and we'll never hear about Eidelbern ever again.

I'm more interested in the "family mission" and what use he has for keeping the baxxid race indebted to him. Noble or not, ancap trader-kings wouldn't go to all this trouble without some serious self-interest behind the scenes.

Between this and his """plans""" for the yinglet population, it seems like he is organizing a beast-workforce here.

Isher is so cute there

I don't think it's a workforce.

From all the fluff we've been given in the field guides, the Baxxid as a race have superior computing, analyzing, and longevity than humans; they are ideal record keepers. Information is power, and the Baxxid are living vessels for information, that'd be reason enough to want to have them be with you rather than against you.
What I wonder is what the Baxxid get out of it.
Sure, the humans act as their "hands" and can provide them with products and services they otherwise can't get, but I can't shake the feeling there's more to it than that.

Thinking about it, he has access to well documented history for the area, the Yinglets suddenly becoming sapient within the past few hundred years is strange and worth investigating.

If rodents suddenly gained the ability to speak and became as intelligent as children, you're damn right the scientific community would be all over that. The big questions are "how" and then the "why". If you know the how, then you can reproduce the results, but the why reveals any other parties in play.

are complaining about getting more content?
are you one of those self-flagellating prequel fags?

He might just be asking, user
Not everything is a complaint, my friend.

They did a pretty stellar job at communicating equal parts "I'm not supposed to enjoy this at all." and "I hope you are happy...?"

I think he's just very pragmatic

Yinglets are smaller than other races and probably good at certain things because of this. Baxxid are very intelligent and excellent with numbers

A smart man would make the most of these traits.
