is there any webcomic that has something overcomplicated puzzle lore with mythology and computer science references that Homestuck had
Never cared about the shipping or the trolls, but liked things like hash tables and trees being part of the story and the ARG-like sense that you're supposed to solve the plot. Do any webcomics have that?
I'd settle for him going back to the Five Nights stuff. Some of that shit was funny.
Lincoln Long
No.
Angel Gomez
Or just no furry porn
Jacob Garcia
I can't believe that was an MSPAF
Ethan Myers
>is there any webcomic that has something overcomplicated puzzle lore with mythology and computer science references that Homestuck had
Does Prequel count?
Easton Diaz
Kickstarters. There has never been one that has netted a positive for a webcomic author.
Chase Nelson
why the hell would elder scrolls fanfic count
Cooper Fisher
I was making some sketches to rewrite A6 and only now came to my realization how stupid would it be to use /qst/ for user inputs; Sup Forums archives are unreliable af since we already lost more than one. Saving all threads into an archive is more work than a forum thread (it took 2 years to lead to cascade, imagine that in HSG format) and the nature of homestuck needs it to exist or else its just a non-breathing story that could exist outside the web.
Asher Ward
Plenty of internet stories don't use user inputs and are still something that can only appear on the web (see the entire slenderverse)
Zachary Lewis
Because TES lore is deep

Is hiveswap going to be the only indie game that blunders because the production was overstaffed?
Elijah Taylor
no
Oliver Garcia
Oh, wow, this turned into /hst/ fast.
Easton Campbell
I've been gone awhile but is Roxyposting still a semi-consistent thing?
Henry Long
You mean Roxykitten?
Jayden Young
No, Roxyposting, aka a rarely used term meaning shit-talking Roxy. I should have just said "shit-talking Roxy"
Adrian Butler
OK, then. Name one other example of an indie game that flopped because there were too many cooks in the kitchen.
Thomas Phillips
Most of them
Andrew Clark
I said one.
Cooper Allen
And I said most.
Bentley Jackson
Yogsquest went to shit because the guy couldn't pay his programmers consistently after it was delayed. This is often the case, yeah.

Yes, and just as irrelevant

Is Hussie going to murder Katnep user in their sleep soon?

Isaac Long
Show me your drawings!
Joshua James
Does anyone have a mega of all of Homestuck offline Just got a new expensive computer and it's already half full, want to see how fast I can fill it up with useless backlog and rewatch shit
Ryder Thomas
Every thread that mentions Homestuck in the OP is /hst/ in disguise because mods will delete them on sight otherwise
Lucas Walker
nigger its homstuck. everything is ovals and tubes
Sebastian Morales
Nigga, I'm not new here. I just said it was fast.
Tyler Garcia

>gelasticat please tell me this isn't real failing that, please tell me there's a VERY good explanation for this
Roxy is still a shit character and only good for porn.
Angel Gonzalez
Yes, I know but have there been a lot of conversations about that recently? Have people finally come to their senses?
Connor Moore
People don't care about her anymore.
It's just Jade waifuposting, Karkat bitching, Vriska bitching, the rare lorefags discussing the comic and cropped porn dumps.
Logan Johnson
>It's just Jade waifuposting, Karkat bitching, Vriska bitching, the rare lorefags discussing the comic and cropped porn dumps. Oh, really nothing has changed. Got it.
It's not quite an archive but it's the easiest way to read it I've found.
Brandon Cruz
Nepeta did something right for once.
Eli Phillips
I don't know if you're still here but I was in your position once. I even felt just as shit as you and became extremely frustrated whenever I put my pen to my tablet. At first I went super try-hard trying to do /ic/ LOOMIS shit and grind circles but I eventually burnt out and just started doodling every day for a few hours. Lo and behold, after a few months of drawing every day, I actually reached the point where I was sort of proud of my drawings and could make consistent shapes. Point of the story is, just keep drawing shitty things and eventually your muscles will learn to let you draw better things. Just don't stop for any extended period of time, because you can easily lose any progress you've made like me.
Kayden Clark
>like me. Poor user.... :(

Asher Harris
It's a stupid question, but I have to ask You DID read Problem Sleuth, right?
I'm somewhat far along in a quest style comic. What should I try to include that people would enjoy?
Caleb Clark
at what point does a fan's interpretation of a character drift far enough away that it's no longer "Jade Harley" but someone else entirely ?
Noah Gonzalez

Jace Russell
Trouble is there's no containment thread, so the retards flock to whatever beacon. OP should've used some other webcomic 2nd-person improv adventure, like RubyQuest, Drew The Lich, or Awful Hospital.
Chase Williams
Cool
Jack Moore
By the time she's literally a black man in a watermelon costume
Daniel Rodriguez
The pacing got all kinds of screwed up, starting with the Trolls being introduced. Acts that were supposed to be short ended up being extremely long, as what should've been side characters got extended into protagonists that each had their own character arcs and motivations.
Basically, Hussie made lots of cool characters, fans wanted to see more of those characters, and Hussie obliged at the expense of the actual story.
