Yeah, that guy's face in the second panel is terrifying.

I know Joker doesn't have any superpowers, but he's terrifying on the whole another level... Just to THINK of what the himan psychic is capable of. How eh kills people and laughs about it. THIS is deep, and is creepier than any Lex Luthort "take over the world' plan will ever be, that's why Joker is best villain.

Exagerrated teeth and exagerrated wrinkles is a combination that makes anything creepy.

I was not being entirely serious

Literally anything from A Serious House On Serious Earth

This is the most interesting Maxie Zeus ever was, its a shame no other appearance copies it.

...

oh fuck this actually got me

...

Context? is this what you see when Ghost Rider gives you the penance stare

...

Kek

HA!

you first.

I´M JET TO SEE A CO RELATED COMIC AS CREEPY AS JUNJI ITO´S STUFF, BUT I HAVE FAITH IN THIS THREAD

Whats the source on that?

why does that silly man play a razor blade piano?

some hellraiser comic

...

That Hellraiser series had a few solid moments

I just wanted to know, i don't read a lot of comics, i'm here more for cartoons

90s run Hellraiser.

They have a masterworks Best Of kinda trades for it.
This story is from Vol2 if I remember right. Can find it used for less than $10 when I got it.

Got all creeped out at this.

Dustin off a classic.

this last panel

I don't get it

Emily Caroll doesn't match Junji Ito in grotesque art, but her comics are the closest I've felt to the same sense of dread I got from his stories.

Oh yeah those are always a good read.

...

Well he hasn't even appeared since this book to my knowledge unless king did something with him that I'm not remembering.

The full picture is much worse. The coloring made my eyes hurt, as if there was a third dimension within the printed page.

it's the distorted perspective that makes it

That's fucking awesome yet terrifying at the same time

the fact that they made them look like they have bones is what makes it work

Source?

...

Where was this from? I vaguely remember reading it

Beasts of Burden: The View on the Hill.
