Any recommendations for good, serious, gritty tactical/special forces movies?
Something like pic related, or Zero Dark Thirty (final segment), Hurt Locker, etc.

Heat is a usual essential operatorcore recommendation if you haven't already seen it
Thanks, I've seen it. I've been into heist movies a while ago.
Act of Valor is pure operator kino and all the operators are actually played by real Navy SEALs. Some of the conversational and expositional dialogue scenes can suffer a bit for this, but the action is 100% top-notch.
That looks extremely poorly shot wew
THE WAY OF THE GUN
Green Zone
The Kingdom
Just seen it today. Shootouts are great but the overall movie is a bit eh. Drags out a lot during the whole middle section. Tries to be quirky but doesn't succeed very well.
Strike Back
Hidden gems of operatorcore:
"Captain Phillips"
"Policeman" (2011)
"Nocturama"
>serious, gritty tactical/special forces movies?
>posts sicario and zerodarkthirty for comparison
jfc dude
watch band of brothers if you wanna see some real war. that shit you posted is cringey af
ok bud
>warkino and operatorkino are the same
Not OP, but ZDT is peak /operatorcore/
Pic related is p good. I liked it better than Sicario and Hurt Locker at least.
Also consider Strike Back (but only the original 2010 season) and Bravo Two Zero.
try these
american sniper
lone survivor
the hurt locker
He's right tho, that doesn't look good at all
>that shit you posted is cringey af
You have no idea wtf you're talking about. Both those movies are great, and a lot better than BoB
It's an atrocious movie though.
If you like fictional conflicts that involve Americans killing people in the 3rd world Tears of the Sun is okay.
clear and present danger
Lone Survivor
13 Hours
American Assasin
...
Delta Force
Under Siege 2
unironically this
Sabotage
Shooter
Universal Soldier 4
all shit
...
>good, serious, gritty tactical/special forces movies
>Hurt Locker
