Okay, I'll bite, what film?
I forgot about this film, was great. Thanks for reminding me...
The French tend to hit things out the park from time to time. It's not action but for an actual decent bodyhorror film watch martyrs.

Brotherhood of the Wolf
>not mentioning the kung fu native american
Vidoq came out around the same time and it is Kino. Just don't read anything about it or you'll get spoilers.
Maaaaah the fren
>by the director of Catwoman
Strange how they forgot to put this on the poster
I watched it as an 11 year old and it stayed with me for ages.
how could I forget...
The two movies aren't even in the same league.
That's such a cool scene. Man, great costume design.
>Vidocq on Allocine: 1,6
>Catwoman on Allocine: 1,4
Didn't see Vidocq but I don't think I'm missing a lot.
Dude, Catwoman is fucking vomit. Vidocq is way WAY better than that. Stop comparing them. They have nothing at all in common.
How could they go from this
Thanks anons.
How about Russian kino no one but me has seen?

Was this movie actually good? I have it on DVD but never watched it.
Had me at
> I wouldn't send an enemy with diarrhea there
It is worth the time to watch, unlike most movies today.
>that scene towards the end when he goes off on all those dudes with martial arts
I remember how impactful everything felt and sounded during those sequences.
Yes it is. It's a lot of fun. Good story, action. boobies.
Doberman
Tchéky Karyo hamming it up as the villain on top
Brotherhood of the Wolf is awesome. It's such a strange mix of genres, but it somehow works. I rented and watched it with my girlfriend not long after it came out on DVD even though neither of us knew much about it other than it mixed martial arts and horror.
Turns out it's pure kino.
I was surprised as well which I think is why it stuck with me.

French or French language? Cause Fifth Element technically counts depending on which.
I like those david belle movies

This. Same circumstances too.
Valerian too since it is the same universe.
>Valerian is in same universe as 5th Element
Really?
the real story is even weirder somehow
Hey look it's Rook and Doc.
Yeah, is that true?
Luc Besson wrote and directed both. Both have all the same color pallet and crazy hats. Lots of other stuff too. The source material for Valerian doesn't take place in the Fifth Element universe, but the movie pretty much does.
