COMICS THAT ARE NEVER GOING TO FUCKING COME OUT FUCK

>The Platoon
>Jupiter's Legacy final issue
>John Wick
>Scout Marauder this one actually might but it's kinda iffy at this point

>John Wick
>"Sometime in 2017"

I was going to say "maybe with the DVD" but considering that's two weeks away...

The announcement was last year. Since then there has been NO information released. Not about a release date, not about the writer or artist, not even any preview art (the pic in the OP is apparently a sketch for a movie poster). NOTHING. We don't even know if it's going to be a one-shot, a miniseries, or an ongoing, and if it's an ongoing how long it's planned to last. We don't even know if it'll be an adaptation of the film(s) or if it'll be an original story.

At this point there is basically 0% chance it comes out this year, if ever.

>Multiversity Too

Seaguy Eternal

oh fuck I forgot about that one

so did Cameron Stewart probably

lol

...

...

SHIELD
Hawkguy

>SHIELD
if only Marvel's marketing team weren't complete fuckups and realized now would be the perfect time to release a fancy-ass deluxe hardcover with the final issues
>see, Hydra aren't Nazis, here's the REAL history

that's obviously for completely different reasons

Why? Because of image? They're a huge cancer on the industry with thier loose publishing ways, Cooke isn't exempt either though, he hasn't done shit since those DC variants which shows his work ethic is still very poor.

>is
user I have some bad news

what does that even say

I can't even read this

dude...

>punisher platoon

That should be this year or next because Parlov recently finished drawing it according to his facebook.

inb4 link, just google its not hard.

WHAT THE FUCK

welcome to a year ago, I guess

You seriously didn't know?

Should have died with his pencils in hand and at his drawing board instead of going to a vacation house.

>he hasn't done shit since those DC variants

because he fucking died dude

hospice care isn't a vacation, guy

How didn't you know? I swear DC had at least a page for Cooke for a month in their books. The Superman book had a arc that's a tribute for him.

>That one Dungeons and Dragons comic that was actually good
>Sonic Mega Drive Part 3
>Multiversity Too
>Prez Season 2

>That one Dungeons and Dragons comic that was actually good
Fell's Five is pretty much cancelled, bro. They'll never have that high seas adventure we were promised.

Rafael Grampa's new comic

What is it supposed to be?

A samurai comic he announced in 2009

>2009

fucking ridiculous

Did you live under a rock last year or something?

>Being this stupid and underage

Ronald Wimberly's
"Sunset Park"

good.
john wick sucked. can't believe I paid 4 bucks to rent this turd on amazon.

Umbrella Academy's third story arc, Hotel Oblivion.

Damn it, I really loved UA, it got me into comics. Hopefully Gerard's willing to revisit it even if he's currently busy with DC, for Young Animal.

Fuck. That made me actually care about D&D.

Going OLD school here, but:

>Frank Miller's next arc after Daredevil Born Again
>1963 conclusion
>Fell continuation
>All Star Superman sequels
>Not The Punisher Armory
>Doktor Sleepless continuation
>half of Warren Ellis' fucking comics
>The Last Galactus Story ending
>The Thing limited series by Barry Windsor-Smith
>the rest of Alan Moore's Big Numbers
>Howard Chaykin's Time2 Vol. 3
>the rest of Miracleman
>Alan Moore's Twilight of the Superheroes
>Frank Miller's Wonder Woman Bondage
>Superman: An Evening With Superman by Barry Windsor-Smith
>Superman 3-D by John Byrne
>the rest of Sonic Disruptors (one of the few MINISERIES that DC ever cancelled)
>All Star Batgirl
>All Star Wonder Woman
>Punisher & Nick Fury - Rules of the Game

>>Not The Punisher Armory

>All Star Batgirl

This one never got beyond the planning stages since JG Jones went to do FC and then left DC. I'm sure Johns will reuse the ideas when Earth One Batgirl appears.

>All Star Wonder Woman

This was a real tragedy. They should have published this, given Morrison a WW ongoing and let Rucka do Earth One.

>>the rest of Miracleman
what's the deal there, weren't the new issues supposed to start coming out in February?

Anyone who has read 1963 is okay in my book

Matt Wagner's Mage: The Hero DeniFUCK I JUST FOUND OUT

the rest of the God-tier DnD comic.

Remember this picture?

Remember how pretty much nothing came of it?

I'm still mad.

oh shit really?

fucking New 52

>we missed out on more Steph/Damian bantz
well now I'm sad

Looks like it was announced at ECCC

Some of this stuff could still get released.

Moore's and Sienkiewicz Big numbers

Wait Frank Miller was going to do a sequel to Born Again?

honestly would a John Wick comic really work?

the whole appeal of the films is the spectacle and effort it takes to pull of Keanu's intense scenes and shit. as a comic, it's not really as impressive.

half the fun is seeing it in motion.

With the right artist, I think it could be cool. The problem is dynamite may not be able to get the right artist. But they have made pretty cool Bond comics so maybe they can pool this off.

...

>Jupiter's Legacy
Why? I'm glad I never started it then.

Quitely is sloooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww

Miller's run got cut short because he left the book due to scheduling issues and his script for the next arc (which would have been drawn by Walt Simonson and featured a team-up with Doctor Strange) was never used.

If it's treated as gun porn and the action sequences are drawn with an "animated yet still grounded/exaggerated realism/movie inspired" style, ala an "American Gunsmith Cats", then it has potential to be incredible.

>Wheel of Time: The Great Hunt
It fucking hurts so much, Eye of the World and New Spring were so good, and we only brushed the surface of some of the amazing things that happened in the series. Hell we didn't even get to see any of the best Forasken like Lanfear or Grindhal.

...

It was so damn close to a conclusion...

>>Frank Miller's next arc after Daredevil Born Again
He had one?

conclusion
I asked Rick Veitch about this & he said his Swamp Thing story will get published before the 1963 Annual comes out. He WANTS to do it but says Alan doesn't return his calls anymore.

>>Not The Punisher Armory
I wanted this so badly. Elliot Brown doesn't get enough credit for his schematics.

>>The Last Galactus Story ending
It wasn't even that good. Bryne has alreasy told everyone HOW it was going to end but dammit we need fucking CLOSURE!

>>The Thing limited series by Barry Windsor-Smith
What? That sounds promising. Was the April Fools issue of Marvel Fanfare a precursor of that?
>>the rest of Alan Moore's Big Numbers
I don't care but I know a lot of people do.
>>Howard Chaykin's Time2 Vol. 3
AND Vol. 4!
>>the rest of Miracleman
I've given up until Marvel brings him into 616 to counter DC using Dr. Manhattan.

>>Alan Moore's Twilight of the Superheroes
I'm actually OK with leaving this one. For all its hype it was just a pretty mean spirited Jon Constantine-wankfest

>>Frank Miller's Wonder Woman Bondage
Was this REALLY a thing besides that one sketch?

>>Superman: An Evening With Superman by Barry Windsor-Smith
Smith again? Christ... Paul Smith though THATS a guy whose on time!

>>Superman 3-D by John Byrne
Really?

>>the rest of Sonic Disruptors (one of the few MINISERIES that DC ever cancelled)
Great idea, crappy execution. If it'd had been more straight than satire it might have survived.

>>Punisher & Nick Fury - Rules of the Game
I want and STILL want this so fucking bad. Jim Lee doing crazy ass Steranko leather spy suits? Makes me hard.

Also I'd add:
Superman Special by Clermont & Mike Golden
Scout: Blue Commander (the finale)
Jon Sable - Batman team up

Good list...I guess we're both Oldfags.

>Alan doesn't return his calls anymore

what the fuck?

Eh a John Wick comic wouldn't be all that great.
I mean you gotta imagine how many panels and pages a good action scene would require.
And the length of a graphic novel.

It would either end up with 2 action scenes tops or action scenes 1/5 the length they should be to be a real John Wick scene.

>Scout: Blue Commander (the finale)

Of all the things in this thread this might actually be the least likely. It'd require Marauder to come out first, which Truman has been saying he wants to do for years now, and that's looking less and less likely. Getting a publisher to take a chance on a second mini and THEN for him to even find the time to do it has got to be a million to one chance.

Moore is a petty fuck who cuts off all contact if he is wronged in any way, no matter how slight

>THEN for him to even find the time to do it
Not for nuthin but whats he been up to the past few years?

>modern comics readers are so used to decompression that they can't even imagine a full story in a single issue

the scenes in john wick weren't even that impressive. also, you wouldn't probably require that many. only reason people even saw it was Keanu reeves, let's not kid ourselves.

this

Talking about doing Scout Marauder.

How did it take so long for someone to mention this?

Kickstart that fucker, I'm in.

And while he's at it? Bring back the PROWLER!

Cuz nobody really WANTS it.

I want it

It's good to see the word revengance get more use

Batman Earth One v3 is another thing for this thread.

Pretty sure it sold well.

>Superman 2000
It's a shame that just the pitch was better than every Superman run out there.

Superman 2000 was fucking garbage and would have destroyed the character if they had done it.

Was there going to be a 4th volume of Time2?

Warren Ellis' Anna Mercury 2: Ultraspacial Dreadnought Vanaheim.

Seriously fucking pissing me off to leave me hanging there, Ellis.

Ellis never fucking finishes anything.

The Tranformers / Justice League crossover.

*Transformers

I really want to see Frank Miller finish this series, preferably with Jim Lee returning too.

But this is being worked on, as is many comics ITT. A new volume comes out every 2 years or so.

The scripts are already done iirc, it's Lee's fault it's not done yet.

some of the comics are just ideas that writers and artists talked about, it doesn't mean that were actually going to happen, most of them weren't even solicited. creators talk about stuff they want to do all the time, it doesn't mean anything anons.

Third book of David B.'s The Treasure Hunters.

...

Kinda wanted to know where it led.

Nope, Millar and Morrison know more Superman than anyone else, and their work on the character has proven it. As I said, just the pitch was better than any Superman run ever published, all of which have been mediocre. It would've brought back Superman back to glory.

Vast majority of the shit in this thread was planned for release at some point.

you're a fucking faggot

waid's run on supes is garbage and the only decent morrison supes is all star the rest are all unreadable

this poster is a subhuman faggot

Fuck Cameron Stewart!

Shut the fuck up johns, you hack. Go suck Jurgens' cock.

Didn't this writer quit comics?

Aquaman Earth One
Great Pacific
Nowhere Men
Solarman from Scout Comics
Iron Man: Viva Las Vegas
Image United

>Jupiter's Legacy final issue
Scheduled for May 31.

>implying it has zero chances of being an OGN

After that comic, I prefer that he should be work on variant covers.

The entire creative team is slow to act. No news on that comic has emerged since the cancellation announcement from Axel Alonso.

The Pathfinder one was good.
Fell's Five was fucking brilliant.

>Solarman from Scout Comics

Didn't this come out already?
