ARC fighters for me

Needs more wings

What the fuck are the little wings for. It's a space fighter, right? So it needs no lift? And those little wings wouldn't generate lift anyway. They have no control surfaces, so they can't help steer either.

Fuck the prequels.

Dooku's solar sail yacht was comfy as all hell. I love personal craft like that the most. Freighters seem like they'd suck unless you stuffed them with creature comforts, but it kind of makes me think that owning spaceships in Star Wars is akin to own private jets, not even prop plans, but specifically jet aircraft due to the higher complexity and cost.

>"S-Foils in attack position"
>canon explanation is dispersal of heat
Right LOL

just needs slave one lasers and seismic charges ...

The juggernaut tanks from the battle of kashyyk

>ywn drive a liberty statue sized tank into some commie robots to lead the path to victory to some tall gorillas on a jungle beach

I think the in-universe explanation is that they act as heat dissipators.

heat sinks and cooling panels.

>Fuck the Prequels

Funny cos' the X-wing's wings serve the exact same role and are open to the exact criticism you just laid out.

I love the Ebon Hawk from Kotor.

Well yes, more heat will be generated when the canons fire, it makes sense from a certain point of view

why do X-Wings have 4 wings?
because it looks cool.
and EU handwaved them away as radiators iirc

Sorry, but it’s descendent is one of the coolest things ever put on film

Jedi Starfighter from EIII.

Stabilizers for atmospheric flight. Although the indentation in the middle seems rather unstable.

i always loved the a wing more

> tfw you seed the jedi fighters for the first time

The LAAT

>no love for speeder bikes

Any of the Rebellion fighters get my dick hard user, the Y-wing and even the goofy B-wing

...

what's the point of the b-wing anyway?

Were these meant to be the predecessors of TIE fighters the way ARC fighters led to X-Wings?

in nu-canon they're mini deathstars

>It's a space fighter, right? So it needs no lift?
wtf I hate X-Wings now

Seriously, PT haters are on a level of cognitive dissonance that should be the subject of a case study.

Favorite overall is the Venator. It still suffers from the problem of all these ships have retarded amounts of floorspace on dozens of levels, but the Venator can explain away most of its inner volume with the hangar and dock.

I've always liked the idea of a smaller fighter variant of the iconic lambda shuttle.

I like CIS aesthetics

Interceptors are sexy as fuck

To sell toys

For me, it's the X-Wing, the best Star Wars starfighter.

Bombers, heavy assault

why would you need bombers if you can just hyperdrive fly an a-wing into a stardestroyer bridge?

i also always thought that ion-cannons were overpowered as fuck

Big titted Dominator

MOMMY

Aesthetic as hell.

Truly the Paul Dano of games

In b4 these are retconned into milk transports.

Gotta get that blue milk

Yep! They're made by the same company that eventually make TIE fighters, too.

Sienar?

AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs AT-STs

Still my favorite.

>Episode IX
>Luke's force ghost saves the rebel fleet by milking an interdictor to destruction, allowing allied fighters to save the day with hyper space allahu ackbar
WHERE ARE MY MILLIONS DISNEY?

why didn't they just built tanks?

>hyperdrive fly an a-wing into a stardestroyer bridge?
well, that wasn't a thing until the new shit movie...
In RotJ the awing crashes into the bridge after the forward shields have been taken down...they even intensify forward firepower so nothing gets through.
We also have to assume the super star destroyer would have just drifted rudderless for awhile if not for the Death star 2 to crash into.

IM DONE WITH THE FUCKING TANK VS MECH DEBATE

YOU KEEP THAT SHIT IN THE NSFT ARGUEMENT THREAD

Yeah, but they obviously don't need "heat dissipators" in that universe because this is what a ship that can't just ignore thermodynamics look like. Every tiny little tie fighter should have square miles of radiator area with the kinds of power outputs they ought to have.

I don't know why but I love the Republic Cruisers, maybe it's the engine noise.

I might dig out my copy of rogue squadron 2 on the gamecube, this guy is a beast.

GOTTA GO FAST

see

The Fury-class interceptor.

Comfy sith ship with built-in sex dungeon. Would live on it.

Why didn't they just put a hyperdrive on an AT-ST and aim it at the ewoks?

Love this one, i have the lego set

OM NOM NOM NOM

>>I AM the Starfighter

why didn't they put a hyperdrive engine on a speederbike and destroyed the shields that way?

what was the point of these things a wings would do the job just as good.

You mean those capitalist pigs that enslaved those poor space horses on that evil rich guy casino planet?
Go Kuat systems anyway user

Is it pronounced ku-at or cot?

Something about them is comfy. Don't know why.

One of the only good things to come out of nu-Star Wars

what happens when you smash an at-st between 2 hyperdrives?

kw-ott i believe

Were these in a game?

Rogue Squadron

Yeah final level of Rogue Squadron, they're World Destroyers. I think they came from a graphic novel originally.

*world devastators

As for me, it's the U-Wing support craft.

I lov ethis guy and his star wars designs!

it's impossible to not love this ....thing

What is the Bellator used for?

They break up a world with massive furnaces and turn the raw materials into new ship sections or defensive systems. They are autonomous

Yep, they're from Dark Empire....II, I believe.

Comfy af

Getting hit by debris from hyperspace ramming.

Surprised no one has posted this yet. Such an obscure yet aesthetically pleasing design.

I remember having the cross-sections book as a kid and rating the comfy level of each interior.

...

outta my way

> can't fly through small spaces

the design is bullshit

AAL

>d-day landing craft in space

best post

darth mauls ship is underrated
very sexual

This desu.

For me, it's the Sun Crusher, the mary sue of ships

Prequel ships > OT ships

>Can't even into space
looking good won't save you from being useless

>the mary sue of ships

isn't that the millenium falcon?

>Edge: The Ship
Take a look at a real ship.

Dedicated modern anti-capital ship bomber since the Y-Wing was being used during the clone wars.

I loled.
Yeah this was real comfy too. But the sith companions are better hence the ship.

noice

>That mix between Interceptor and Advance
Desire to know intensifies

The only bad thing about this ship is the top gun looks out of place.

Man I like how in the prequel trilogy you could see the predecessors of what the OT ships would become so why don't we see anything radically different with callbacks to the older ships in the sequel trilogy?

How do we go from ARC > X-Wing > X-Wing in the span of 60 years or Venator/Acclamator > Star Destroyer > Star Destroyer

DUDE BIG AT-ATS!!
