That's a snooty lookin' Scooby

They look a lot cooler than they actually are are.

Watch him swooce right in.

Is that a JoJo reference?

That looks like something drawn 10 years ago, not 40.

It's a pun

I think it looks about the same, but with more attitude. Which is strange, given the time.

It's a solid concept, which is why it's lasted 48 years with only minimal interruptions.

I'm still genuinely amazed how Iwao Takamoto completely and utterly got it right first time.

>Velma, Scooby, and Shaggy all having smug mugs

I want to have sex with that Shaggy

>that shaggy

>Yare Yare Scoob.

Thats clearly a Persona cast user.

So yes

fags leave

They look like they have Rolling Stones-like music for their theme instead of generic early Beatles pop

So are these guys from an SMT game or what?

...

YES
I AM!

>Scooby-Doo was made by a Nip
DELET THIS

Is this...?

Fuck off to your containment board

Fred looks like he's about to pilot a giant robot.

perfect.

is daph shorter than velma?

From the thumbnail it looks like Shaggy has an enormous bulge

I like the part with the dynamic postures and expressive faces. It was something the original show always kinda lacked, assumedly because Hannah-Barbara needed to channel all their budgets into their crack cocaine funds.

Fred's legs look a little bizarre though. Can't quite figure out what's bugging me about them.

They're short and it looks like he has a really long torso

>Stern Heroic Boss of the team
>Smug Nerd
>like zoinks SmuggyDoo.jpeg
>absolute madman of the team
>femme fatale of the team
infinitely better then what they became

This can't really be the original. Didn't Shaggy not exist at first?

Fred is obviously a little more dynamic, but I think it leans better into the Dobie Gillis characters they're based on, at least in terms of mannerism.

See
Shaggy is directly ripped from the character of Maynard, basically the show' s most popular character. Shaggy will likely have been there from the start if they really wanted to bank on the Dobie Gillis dynamics.

Everyone wants to have sex with Shaggy.

Thank you

No, it's not.

The original had more of a 60s look, and as you note, there was a personell change on the gang—not a lack of Shaggy, but the presence of Mike, another team member.
I've only ever seen a few sketches of him with the others. I recall he was a rich, sporty type showing off his bling—which would make him Chatsworth among the series' loose Dobie Gillis character imitations. (In the final series, Fred was essentially the Dobie equivalent, Daphne was Thalia, Velma was Zelda, and Shaggy was Maynard; but there was no Chatsworth analogue.)

Kill yourself, faggot. Shaggy is for homo too

>that Shaggy

The SJW version was better.

So when are they going to release the last burn-off episodes of Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! on Boomerang?

To be honest it looks like some strange mix of Doi and Kaneko

Is not, OP. Scooby's original design was a giant white sheep dog named Too Much.

I knew I had a picture for this somewhere.

/sigh. I've never seen an episode of Dobie Gilis but feel like I should. Heck, I've heard the Archies radio show from the 40's. But old TV shows are hard to find then old radio shows. Oh well.

...

Yo!

>shoutfactorytv.com/series/the-many-loves-of-dobie-gillis

Why else would he be using Shaggy as his nickname

Kaneko looks like a man despite having heart boobs.

I like Yasuda's work

They got attitude.

There's something about that Shaggy that makes me feel funny.

Also, goddamn that's a hot Daphne. And I love Velma's attitude.

I'm getting some Bright vibes off of Freddy.

I didn't know there were girls on Sup Forums
