The main character's roommate steals a priceless masterpiece from the Museum of Modern Moon Art and then sells it and then gets rich and leaves the main character to find another roommate.

>humans leave earth

>factions split off to different planets
>groups use animal dna and create cat. k-nine, bird, frog species to better adapt tp the planet surface
>slowly lose contact with eachother
>whole series revolves around cat species or group of them flying through galaxy and puttting the pieces together as to what there origin is

I'm working on a screen play about an asylum that encourages the patients to draw pictures and write messages to each other as a form of art therapy. Over time the drawings and messages become a feedback loop for the patients. The chief doctor quits in frustration from dealing with increasingly unstable patients, and the new chief exploits them with the help of evil ukrainian scientists.
I don't have an ending, though. Something something dystopia, with diversity pandering.

Best Space Fantasy coming through

Be carefull what you wish for. Disney will fuck that shit up, dude.

Just don't make the ending happy

Doctor wakes up, he's Avery Brooks on a space station screaming about how we all live in a dream.

Is this our hero? Is he cocky and self assured? Or a firm measured leader?

Or is he a wise cracking loner? Afraid to committee to something bigger than himself?

Where can I buy these?

or is he your standard user, always bragging about shit he's never done and getting the details wrong and then flying into an autistic screeching rage when anyone calls him on it?

i have no idea, sorry. try reverse image searching them.

The film was a failure they wont be revisiting it

they're one of a kinds made by a guy on deviantart

A boy on a lonely backwater world gets caught up in an ancient war between two aspects of a fundamental power of the universe

kino

Will this lovable scamp be our breakout character?

amidst a civil war between factions of a galactic empire, an anarchist insurgency emerges
the lonely backwater boy gets caught up in it, becomes a leader, and ultimately returns to his home and farm satisfied people can now lead themselves and make their own decisions.

Is he the comic relief sidekick who rises to the challenge at the end?

>good nyborg

An ancient space captain
Through manipulating time dilation of near light speed, cybernetic replacement, cryonics, and even the use of forgotten medicines of elder races he has extended his life far beyond any mortal ken

I reckon on his first introduction he'd drink all six cans of a 6-pack at once

And his ship
Salvaged from hulks of long forgotten races in sectors of the galaxy no previous human had dared to trod

Nigga I recognize a galactic supralouse when I see one.

Hero or villain?

a hero to some a villain to others

Yes, as long as they hire a competent actress to play you and give you an actual character arc.

Bah weep gra na weep ninibong

"Bah weep gra na weep ninibong"?!

Movie when?

More to the point, why isn't there Moebiuskino yet?

>Airtight Garage HBO miniseries
>Incal movie trilogy
>Arzak movie series
>Etc

I've always thought that Berserker series might make for a couple of good movies. Although the lack of a single hero and the lack of a resolution would work against any adaptation.

or Metabaron

And I forgot the image.

enough with the fuckin swords

is there a problem?

That was Jodorowsky with Juan Gimenez. The entire Jodoverse is ripe for adaptation, audiences wouldn't know what hit them.

>you will never tool around some backwater in a teched out hog with a blue biker beside you

Ok, so we have loudmouth space user, unsure space cowgirl(with competent actress and character arc), weird alien sidekick and ancient astronaut who can serve as mentor figure or villain(or both).

shes the ranger on the case of tracking down

Now we just need a call to adventure/macguffin to get all the pieces moving.

The mentor-villain could be loudmouth user from the future who needs to manipulate the hero into becoming the villain so he causes a great tragedy in the hero's life

No we don't that's lame

can we pull a Brian Aldiss ("Nobody wants a passport to a world full of giant slugs") and have them encounter, in passing, a race of aliens with no relate-able features at all?

immortality is kind of old hat. how about an alien from a race of immortals is looking for a legendary way of dying? it's already tried to kill itself hundreds of ways and they all failed.

Keep budget low
Make a modest film
Our hero has to set down on some backwater for repairs, the only thing that passes for law and order in the mining settlement is out of her depth dealing with high tech space bikies and puts it not so delicately that if he wants the minerals to refine to repair his ship he'll need to help her

>high-tech space bikies
pls

Set in Endless Space universe lmao

Opening scene:
A hovercraft approaches a transport space plane landed on a desert planet. The three armed men wearing closed armor suits in the hovercraft look nervous. There is also an unarmed alien with a large head and eyes, flat nose and pale yellow skin color who is dressed casually, whose face displays particular confusion. A man dressed extravagantly stands next to the space pane while holding his hands in his belt expecting the arrival.
The hovercraft stops next to the plane, the men disembark.
- Dr Paveleen, I am CIA...

Can't in the current political landscape, at least not in America and many European countries, would need to make it in some Eastern European country.

why
why

Been working on it for 10 years brosef

It's basically about the remnants of humanity fighting over the last habitable piece of land on the last habitable planet after they've wiped themselves out to the point where they can't even achieve interstellar travel anymore, and all of the factions have ancient beef from 5000 years of history.

so its the end of warhammer40?
