WB has in development a Galidor movie for a 2020 release date.
Possible around May. The film itself is about a kid who gets superpowers? I'm not a fan so I don't know much about it. It's set in space and it will have a SW/Guardians of the Galaxy feel to it. The Studio wants Travis Knight to direct it and they already want Hailee Steinfield to play the main girl character. There will be only three main humas:a boy,girl and old man. All white btw. It will have lots of aliens and ships. They probably want to kill SW with it? Idk,there is also a Masters of the Universe and Thundercats movie in development.
The Galidor film was requested mostly by Lego if I'm right. I cannot come with any proof of any of these because I don't want to get my source in trouble. Have a nice day.
P.S. You guys can expect an official announcement in the summer. Maybe at Comic Con.

An unbelievaly bad show with unbelievably bad lego sets from the early 2000s
A failed theme that Lego did in the early 2000's. Don't know much about the story of it, just that they had some construction action figures like a weird hybrid between the SW figures and Knights Kingdom.
Don't know why almost 18 years later Lego wants to give it another shot. But seeing the reinassaince of starshit who knows.

i loved this show when it came out. No way in hell it would make a good movie though. it was part of those attitude era space shows like babylon 5 and lexx and Andromeda that really went out there with their tv show.

Remember that Bionicle G2 failed financially and Lego still has an entire action figure system (Ccbs) only being used by Star Wars.
Entirely possible that they dig up another action figure franchise to use CCBS with, and try a stronger marketing push this time.
