ONE, NOTHING WRONG WITH ME

>ONE, NOTHING WRONG WITH ME

The Rock is going to get raunchy on Daisy!

>a film's artistic value is intrinsically tied to its box office
When did Sup Forums become Sup Forums?

>implying either of these movies have artistic value

>more money per theatre than TLJ for 3 days straight
OUT OF TOUCH critics just don't get it, but the AUDIENCES are bringing their PISSPANTS and LOVING this FUN, RAUNCHY little comedy.

Littyest New Years of all time.

TLJ: shitty
Jumanji: litty
the choice is clear

They're both commercial trash but Star Wars is the biggest franchise in movie history, and The Last Jedi a shit movie. Jumanji at least knows what it is and does it well.

2012

There's no objective way to measure the quality of a film, since everyone sees things differently. The only objective unit of measurement is box office performance. Trying to convince someone that a film has artistic merit when they believe otherwise is like the Israel Palestine conflict. Very rarely will you completely change the way someone thinks. So that's why they use missiles, and we compare box office numbers

>Trump president
>FilthyFrank quitting and making shitty music instead
>PewDiePie turned int pol
>Jumanji remake beating a Star Wars main line movie
What fucking timeline did I warp into?

The one where The Litty Awakens.

A New Pair of Pants
The Tweets Strike Back
The Return of The Litty

The Phantom Review
Attack of the Snobs
Revenge of the Critics

The Comedy Awakens
The Last Litty
???

TLJ is trash, we just want to see the franchise burn now.

fine, I'll go see Jumanji today, good job viral marketers, you've won

Am I reading it wrong? It looks like tlj is winning?

NO NO NO THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE! IM SUPPOSED TO BE IN CHARGE HERE

SET MISSILE TARGETS TO ISRAEL GOD HELP US

was it autism?

Jumanji is playing in 467 fewer theaters though. more people have to go to the same theater to see it.

>Sony
I thought about jumanjo but I refuse to believe a Sony movie is actually worth watching in theaters.

>some shitty Jumanji reboot is nearly beating a Star Wars movie
I mean TLJ is shit but how did it come to this

>a film's artistic value
>star wars
>artistic anything post the 80s

>partners with SONY
>competes against Star Wars™ on a holiday weekend
>already catching up and will topple TLJ in the litty new year
absolutely based

>what is argumentum ad populumum

It's more that it's fucking hilarious that a soft reboot of a 90's comedy starring the Rock, partnered with fucking SONY of all companies, is holding it's own against the biggest franchise in history, with all the Mouse's marketing power. That alone should show how much audiences disliked TLJ, the word of mouth isn't good enough. Meawhile Jumanjo actually got a bump, implying normies are more excited to rewatch fucking Jumanji over Star Wars. You couldn't make this up if you tried.
