Which episode should I skip for season 4?

Which episode should I skip for season 4?

Bump.

Just watched episode 4.2 - it was basically an episode of The Outer Limits only not as good.

Any of these we can skip? No spoilers plz.

skip episode 3

it's totally boring and has an unintentionally hilarious ending

Hang the DJ and the last one are the only ones worth watching my amigo

pleb detected, crocodile was one of the best of this season

skip episode 2, jodie foster cant direct to save her fuckin life

and skip episode 5. metalheads was so fucking bad I can't even begin to describe

>pleb
anyone who says pleb should be disregarded

Why would you skip any of them at all, there are only six. This show is known for being divisive. The episode someone tells you to skip might be your favourite in the season.

That said, the amount of praise for USS Callister has been totally unwarranted. The entire episode was really very corny, and I wouldn't put that down to the Star Trek aesthetics.

okay sure

crocodile was still tense and it was fun watching the insurance agent bounce from person to person closing in the suspect

the reddit spacing is strong on these ones

3=4>6>1>2>5

Black Museum>USS Callister>Hang the DJ>Crocodile>Metalhead>Arkangel

all but corocdile but you must accept that it's mediocre

reddit spacing? what's reddit? is that a site? do you go there often?

Unironically all. Arkangel was fine but I feel the rest are just different versions of episodes from past seasons.

Episodes 2 and 3 are boring as shit. 2/10 would not watch again.

Thanks. Happy New Year!

>arkangel and metalhead
>worth watching

dont skip 3

What was the fucking point of Hang the DJ? What supposedly happened at the end, what did it have to do with dating?

Idk, I just pulled up the summary...

>A woman's past comes back to haunt her while another woman travels interviewing people who have seen accidents.

...doesn't really whip my panties into a frenzy.

there were themes of "not worrying about how long a relationship will last and overcoming the odds to find your "soul-mate"" but on a more literal level, everything you saw minus the last 10 seconds were just a visual representation of the dating app finding that perfect match and the simulations it has to run to ensure the final person it matches you with is really that perfect match. A surprisingly upbeat ending for black mirror

the descriptions for all of the episodes are complete dogshit to be honest. Just give it a watch. If you like fargo you'll probably like crocodile

the entire format of black mirror is just
>1. wow look at this slightly weird but hypothetically totally socially acceptable thing/wow imagine what might happen with this technology we have in the future
>2. turns out it's pretty bad

how long can they run with that, really

It's 3/10, chick murders a bunch of people.

S4 shouldn't have happened.

It's intentionally vague, because the episodes are usually mysterious, letting the viewer try to figure things out as you go.

It's a slow episode, and one of the darker ones, but it's great.

Its fucking FUCKING boring. Really. The whole episode is just a bland and boring set up for the ridiculous plotwist at the end

Black museum is really great though, I would start there, and skip crocodile

Makes sense, still a shitty episode though.

I'll skip it for sure. If the rest of the season holds up, I'll go back.

Thanks all for the input.

how many fucking misses does this show have? My friend kept bugging me to get into it with the tagline "It's like a modern day twilight zone" but every episode of that show is classic. Only seen USS Callister so far

It won't, it's shame though it had great episodes in the other seasons.

Watch the first seasons, they are better

>dude lets put your gf's mind in a stuffed monkey lmao

just metalhead, so boring

LEL so random XD

You got the first one but the other two is just reaching

All of them. They honestly shit the bed the entire season.

Maybe watch Metalhead.

Only ep1 is decent and not as a Black mirror ep

How do you even know what that is? Do you... go there?

am i the only one that actually liked metalhead which was basically just terminator set in our universe once boston dynamics fixes their drones

I honestly got more enjoyment out of Metalhead than I did with USS Callister.

Metalhead was kino.

It probably helped that it was the first episode I watched of this season. No reason to watch them in order.

i liked it and would say it was probably the best of the season and the most believable plot line the show has done. it was just super basic and that's not what people want from black mirror.

Arkangel
Arkangel
Arkangel
Arkangel
Arkangel

I've come around to the other ones I didn't like as much (even fucking Crocodile) but Arkangel is awful through and through.

Exactly what I thought.
Boston Dynamics can go to hell, you know DARPA only funds that shit so they can slap M249s on those soulless machines.
Episode sucked though.

I'm a little confused as to why everyone loves it so much.
Then again, White Christmas is considered the apex 'kino 'sode' for this series, so that says a lot..

Can someone tell me which S3 episodes are good? San Junipero seems really divisive, but how was the season taken overall

I enjoyed it. Not sure it needed to be in black and white though, I would have liked it the exact even if it were in color.

Metalhead

I want a full episode with the doctor pleasure cap thing. That was actually a good story and they could do some real fucked shit. Imagine the homeless guy was just his first victim.

Nosedive and Hated In The Nation are alright, the latter is really convoluted though.
Shut Up And Dance is really good although the main character is a little crybaby bitch. I can't remember the others.

literally all of them

Did you even watch Metalhead?

This guy gets it. Metalhead was fucking wannabe kino trash. That shit should have been a youtube skit no longer than 7 mins. Straight garbage episode.

Yeah, did you? Black Mirror isn't exactly aiming high this season.

but black mirror is basic every time

What plotline? Explain the "plotline" of Metalhead.
Being given little to no information doesn't inherently make something good.

:^)

3 useful people dying to give a toy to a dying child makes total sense, you soulless MORON.

Metalhead felt like the only bad episode of season four. Skip USS Callister if you prefer more dark and cold episodes because this one is actually funny.

>Scavengers
lel, the other scavengers died before the middle part of the episode started

All of them are good, but San Junipero is overrated.

They literally die within the first 10 mins.

You don't even connect with the characters because there's no story. When they died, I was just like "meh, whatever. Im not losing any sleep over this." As a matter of fact, I fell asleep watching this episode.

Samefag, i don't know what the fuck I did there but I was only replying to

Not anymore than meme christmas. You all keep sucking the cock of that episode.

The plots in S4 have been the worst yet. Their overreaching into the use of magic illogical technology is off the charts. Expect impossible levels of computing and storage just to force a story.

You're always being railroaded in Black Mirror. You get blinkered and have to observe a story from a specific point of view and it just makes everyhing feel forced, and that makes the 'gotcha' even more of a groan.

Its time to end this show now. It's recycling stories and themes, and they're basically having to use magic technology to force their points. Most of which are scooby doo level moustache-twizzling zingers.

>MONKEY LOVES YOU
>MONKEY NEEDS A HUG

This shit genuinely disturbed the fuck outta me.

>stuck like that for thousands of years until the apparatus keeping you there disintegrates

Great episode, only 12 year old ADD-addled brainlets cannot appreciate it.

>tfw want to participate in these threads but only just started bingewatching and am only on season 3
FUCK, I don't want to spoil myself.

when i said the episode was basic i meant that it was literally just following one person for one event and there was nothing deeper going on and no hint of ramifications of the event. it was just a very small and very confined thing which was unusual for the show.
ignoring the stupid logic for them being there in the first place, the tech of the drone and the way it hunted and how hopeless the situation was were all pretty good if you ask me. much more believable than entire human memory being stored in DNA from saliva anyway.

>If you like fargo you'll probably like crocodile
best description honestly

Arkangel has a good idea it's just it doesn't utilize it fully.

>The helicopter mother never got the screen repaired
>Implying there wouldn't be a black market for these and a ability to pair another one to the implant should the original tablet get damaged.

It was by far the weakest episode with the most interesting premise literally a big brother inside your head.

Shame Jodie and Brooker didn't do enough with it and it came off looking like Jodie fosters mummy/mother issues the episode.

season 4 has really gone down the shitter. as far as I remember 4 or 5 of the 6 episodes are some kind of twilight zone wannabes only much worse.

1, 2, 3 and 5

i hated watching crocodile, but i'd say metalhead is the one i could have skipped completely.

i don't see why everyone in the thread is saying Arkangel, it wasn't the best but it had a couple good moments. i can't say one single thing i enjoyed about metalhead or crocodile.

the main issue i had with arkangel was that bitch who looked 35 playing a 15 year old, but other than that it was meh. why do people hate it so much?

the whole episode was a simulation with all kinds of situations and backgrounds from the dating system... they did it 1000 times, and 998 times they ended up together so thats why they said in 99,8% they find their soulmate. at the end they see each other for the first time in real life

>Good
US Callister
Hang the DJ
Black museum

>Alright
Archangel
Crocodile

>Skippable
Metalhead

The thing about Arkangel was that it had a good premise but was poorly executed.

Nice trips btw.

the first two seasons were before netflix and they are the best. + white christmas.

after they go with netflix the show becomes reddit garbage in my opinion. only netflix episode i truly like is Shut Up and Dance

I liked it but I wish the dog acted more machine like and less animal like.
When you first see it and it kills the two guys, it's moving without hesitation or judgement.
But then once we see it tracking the girl it pauses to look around, to scan its surroundings and behaves more like a killer in a film.
I'd rather it was a bit more robot like, that's where the terror really lies for me.

Except that the story makes no fucking sense. Killing someone is less risky than writing an anonymous letter? Killing a family will stop the police from retracing that woman's last case how?

Black Mirror really, really makes no sense this season.

Crocodile
>A GUINEA PIG
>A FUCKING GUINEA PIG

The first kill was a crime of passion (which would have made more sense if she didn't look like she needs to eat a sandwich)
Then she had to kill a bunch of people because of the mind reading tech

I liked the premise but I found the performances pretty boring.
It needed some kind of breakdown scene like in american psycho when he's on the phone to his lawyer.
I was also distracted by the knowledge that she auditioned for another part, then brooker made her the lead.
I was waiting for some great acted scene that would have justified such a move

How would they have not caught her without it? How would the police not ask her employer which case she was on and then try to find people who have been speaking with her? She killed 3 people for nothing, there's no way she could have gotten away with it.

first one.
you can also skip 4th and 5th ones.
5th one is done in black and white and is all about a woman running away from a robot dog. in the end she kills herself and that is the high point of the ep
ep4. is usually dating game crap, beta MC is stuck in a year long unhappy relationship while the "one that got away" is riding dick like crazy. The twist is that is all a simulation by a dating ep and only thing the real people see is %. The lesson is that when something feels right you should give it a go no matter what other people say and fight for it
oh come on, the ending was gold.

The truth knows no borders

Black Museum>>Arkangel>Crocodile>Hang the DJ>>USS Callister>Metalhead

>not watching her discover porn
What are you doing with your life?

see

I had a feeling from the beginning that shit would happen, it was so predictable but I thought it was way too much of a cop out. But the madmen did it

Pretty sure it was an excuse to travel to iceland and enjoy the scenery before the 'refugees' pour in.

other than dating what situation this season was social acceptable?

Best part was the pov of the girl saying 'fuck me' insta boner.

Crocodile>Black Museum>Arkangel>USS Callister>Hang the DJ>Metalhed
fight me

I don't know, it reminded me of a Swedish novel or one of those varg veum stories

19 eps in 6 years. Its mind blowing if you have never read anything from the genre or have had interest in literature. less so if you have read an anthology of short stories or 2

>thousands of years
It did not need recharging or fixing?
>ep1 is decent
die in a fire

Kid tracker?

What did you not like?
Men Against Fire is predictable but enjoyable. everything else is less so.

The last ep was best ep because they had to keep it tight. It worked as short stories but in long format it may have ended up like Nosedive
