I like it better than Frozen because it had a focused, genuine romance plot without either having a damsel in distress or the exact opposite in having a mary sue heroine.
Flynn and Rapunzel were evenly matched. The purpose of Tangled was to show a good romance, the purpose of Frozen was to make some pathetic point about female strength all the way undermining that point.
